It's pretty intelligent but I think it can do better.
It's quite great for email marketing - It can be very helpful for lead generation especially.
Pros
It provides a user-friendly interface to easily import and organize subscriber lists, there are also features like tagging and segmentation which are quite handy as they help to categorize subscribers based on interests and behaviors.-It also provides facilities to create visually appealing opt-in forms that are easy to integrate with tools like Elementor and others and can be beneficial for lead generation.- There are equal features that can enable you to create advanced email sequences as well as workflows based on the subscriber's actions.- there is quality customer support - they're good.
Cons
Some of the downsides of this marketing software are :- It offers quite an affordable pricing solution however, it comes with hidden fees -the amount you pay tends to augment all of a sudden as your subscriber's lists grow. I don't see any transparency in it. It's better to tell me upfront that this is how much you will be paying for my tool while providing supporting reasons, that way it will help me to make proper planning rather than tricking me into purchasing a product with surprises attached.- It offers basic reporting and analytics. - it's somewhat limited in design and landing page customization. there are quite a few number of advanced options that I find to be missing.- I adore the fact that there is a free version, however, it only supports a few subscribers which can be little compared to some other software.

Advanced, but it can be used simply
Pros
I love that there is so much I can do with ConvertKit. Their segmentation, automation and variety of landing pages could be overwhelming (or distracting), but doesn't really need to be. Since their pricing is based on active subscribers (not emails sent) and they have a VERY generous free plan, you can start simply and try their more advanced features when you're ready.
Cons
It can be a lot to keep track of all of your automations--tagging, email sequences, incentive emails etc.
Reasons for Choosing Kit
The automation triggers were a little limited with MailerLite, and ConvertKit had much better (simplier, more direct) landing pages.Switched From
MailerLiteReasons for Switching to Kit
I was able to start on their free plan and the upgrades were very reasonable. Since my mailing list was small, it would either be some time before I needed to upgrade or the growth would mean that my business was healthy enough to pay for the next tier.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

Extra Expensive Options
ConvertKit is a good tool for email marketing, but it's expensive.
Pros
ConvertKit is easy to use and has a lot of features. I like the segmentation and automation features.
Cons
ConvertKit is more expensive than some other email marketing tools. Some features are only available on the more expensive plans.

ConvertKit – Powerful (pricey) but worth it
ConvertKit has been a game-changer for my client's businesses. The intuitive interface and powerful automation features have helped me streamline their email marketing and find a way to build a loyal subscriber base for them.
Pros
The pros are the user-friendly, powerful workflows and funnels, and robust set of features.
Cons
Expense if you have more than 1,000 subscribers. It can get pricey.

Love all the features!
I have been using ConvertKit for about three years now and have really loved it. I run two newsletters with it and have loved all the features available and how easy and intuitive the platform really is. I was also able to easily transfer from my previous newsletter provider.
Pros
I really love all the features available and how easy it is to create forms, send out newsletter, resend to unopens, collect email addresses and even add a buy now button. It has many of the features I need in a newsletter provider.
Cons
The price - I think it's higher than competitor platforms.

I LOVE Kit
Overall, ConvertKit has been extremely valuable in my small online business. The customer service is fantastic. They even allowed me to downgrade after I tried the paid version for a few months. This was really kind and I definitely appreciate their understanding that my business was just not making the income at the time. When I’m ready, I’ll upgrade to the paid version.
Pros
It’s simple to use. I have no computer skills and I feel like I can create beautiful emails for my business is just a few clicks.
Cons
Honestly, nothing at all. There is not one flaw I can think of.

ConvertKit, Great Tools For Reaching Your Customers
I enjoyed using the free version of the platform.
Pros
ConvertKit has many tools that were helpful in developing marketing instruments for my brand.
Cons
The cost of the platform is higher than other comparable tools.

It works, but takes some getting used to.
It's been good, but it's just difficult to learn how to use it properly.
Pros
The interface is clean and uncluttered.
Cons
It might be overly simplified. I converted from Mailchimp, which seems more geared towards small businesses; it is easier to learn how to use. ConvertKit also does not offer as many design options as Mailchimp but is a good choice if you have plain text emails.

Great For New Teams
Overall, I'd give ConvertKit another try because I think the platform itself is great and they've likely added a lot of features and clarity since I worked with them.
Pros
ConvertKit has a lot of great features out of the box. From the visual builder to the double opt-in, the platform was easy to use. I especially liked the onboarding process–it kept me engaged and on track to win.
Cons
ConvertKit was fantastic for most things but I found some of the user views to be somewhat unintuitive. I didn't know what I was looking–are these contacts still subscribed? Are they subscribed but not confirmed? Who's my actual audience?

Pros
I love everything about Convertkit. Their system is easy and efficient compared to others I've tried before. A few years ago, I tried a couple different email services but I recently switched back to Convertkit.

The email marketing software that will make your content shine
We have been using ConvertKit for 3.5 years now and we don’t plan on going anywhere else! If you’re looking for an email marketing platform that grows with your business and subscriber list, and that’s straightforward to use as well as efficient, then you don’t need to look any further than ConvertKit. My team and I find that it allows us to meet our goals quickly, deliver quality content, and all without overcomplicating things. Sometimes simple is best!
Pros
It’s hard to find things not to like about ConvertKit. I think one of the best things is that there is no major learning curve. You don’t have to be an expert in email marketing to understand how to use the software. Everything is pretty intuitive. And when you do have a problem figuring something out, they have amazing tutorials available as well as a very responsive and helpful customer service team. Each time I ran into an issue, it would be solved by their team in a blink of an eye. I also love that it integrates with the software we use at our company and with our clients, such as Acuity Scheduling and LeadPages. Finally, ConvertKit has all the features we need for our email marketing efforts to be a success: great segmentation, automations, and confirmation email option.
Cons
I think their reporting and their A/B testing could be more advanced. However, given they’re constantly improving things, I believe that these features will soon be improved. I will say that for the needs of small businesses and teams, what ConvertKit offers is absolutely sufficient.

The best email software for bloggers and course creators
Pros
ConvertKit is your best friend if you are a course or content creator and need to manage a lot of email addresses, send weekly emails, and use automations and auto-emails for sales and marketing. I do a lot of lead magnet generation and have so many different segments of email subscribers - CK is made exactly for this. I love how simple it is, it doesn't got bogged down with email design too much, it's more about functionality and high deliverability.
Cons
I can't think of anything I don't love about ConvertKit for email. For landing page design, there's a lot of customization that's missing, but I don't use it for that primarily.

Solid and improving email marketing software
Overall ConvertKit is a good solid option, but only really if you're using the paid version. The free version lacks a lot of the good features. It is priced competitively and once you learn how to use it, it's pretty user friendly. Reliability wise, I've never had a problem as far as I can recall. Customer service is pretty quick and I've even reached out to the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] via Twitter and he was responsive.
Pros
When I started using ConvertKit it was a relative new entrant to the market and a competitor to the likes of MailChimp and AWeber. It was started by someone who had used other email marketing solutions and and had tried to overcome issues with these solutions. This meant for someone who was reasonably software literate it was straightforward to use and had some great features, and these have been added to as time has gone on.
Cons
There has been an update on the landing page section which meant I could no longer use one of sign-up forms, which was used multiple times over my website. Although necessary for them, it caused me as a user quite a headache to resolve. Also, if you go over a threshold of subscribers, the price goes up automatically...if you go back below the threshold you have to tell them to move you back down. The free option is not particularly great for brand new websites and on websites I have built for others, they've tended towards something like MailerLite initially.
Reasons for Choosing Kit
Heard good things about ConvertKit from different sources and AWeber didn't seem as good value any more.Switched From

Smarter email marketing
ConvertKit has been a great tool for my business over the years and I'll continue to use it moving forward. They update and adapt regularly so it's an email marketing service that's worth your time if you're thinking of investing or upgrading.
Pros
I've been using ConvertKit for a long time and in that time I've used it to get a little smarter when growing my email list. It's one thing to send weekly emails to your growing list, but it's another to segment specific users, tag them and put them into different categories so you can send them personalised emails.
ConvertKit allows you to do all of this in a very user-friendly way.
One of the key factors in sticking with ConvertKit for so long, was that it has automation at the heart. As online business owners, we don't always have the time to analyse data and manually sort subscribers so we can make more informed decisions. ConvertKit gives you the freedom to set up your own automations with a lot of flexibility, all so you can spend less time on marketing and more time in your business.
Cons
ConvertKit allows you to tag people who purchase products through their various integrations but it's a bit lacking in terms of data on this. You can see the products they've purchased, but you can't see where they came from. Which means it's much harder to see a holistic view of your marketing strategy with ConvertKit at the heart.

Has its benefits but not what I needed.
Pros
It was fairly easy to get the account created.
Cons

I don't know why we bothered with any other service. ConvertKit outpaces the rest.
Pros
Constant free trainings. Customer service is amazing. The conferences! The community! The entire company leadership, values and constant striving to improve.
Cons
It's hard to come up with much I don't love about CK. Integration with Teachable is challenging because Teachable uses one field for first and last name, so it doesn't automatically parse them out. Not CK's fault, tho.

Helping creators grow their email audience? Convertkit is a solid platform.
Overall this is an easy to use, modern email marketing tool that covers all the basics. Great for beginners who want to get going fast. Also suitable for more advanced marketers. I enjoy using this. The interface is modern and easy to use. Unnecessary settings or steps are removed, making this a tool that doesn't require much time to get something created. Good documentation as well, so the beginner can get started knowing the support and education is just a few clicks away.
Pros
I like how Convertkit makes it easy and fast to get your lead generating page up and running and start collecting leads. The landing page builder is good with plenty of templates. You don't need technical skills to get a page up and start building your list. That's what Convertkit focuses on. It's a modern tool that offers all the basics and a few advanced features. No unnecessary bells and whistles needed if you want to focus on creating.
Cons
Pricing starts higher compared to other tools, but the advantage of Convertkit is that one email address only counts once, unlike other tools where a subscriber counts multiple times towards your total subscriber amount if that person is added to multiple email lists or campaigns.

A fast and trustworthy email marketing tool...
Pros
I first saw Pat Flynn using ConvertKit and the process really seemed very smooth to me. I started using ConvertKit and never regretted it. You feel like you're using an extraordinary tool that seems to be running on its own. Very easy to configure and send email campaigns, amazing support team, a very straightforward interface, great speed, and decent pricing.
Cons
The pricing is not the most affordable if we jump into the marketing and email marketing tool world but is actually considerable. Other than this, my only concern is with putting together the signup forms and landing pages. It's not as great as tools like ClickFunnels, Leadpages, etc., but is still better than AWeber and GetResponse (is what I feel).

Great Option for the Solopreneur
I use this service for a relatively small email list I just started, and it works really well for the price. I use the optin forms and email sequences to gain more email subscribers on a regular basis. I also love that I can create really simple and easy to design automation flows between opt-ins and my general email newsletter. This is something I use on a daily basis.
Pros
I recently switched over to ConvertKit from another service after reading positive reviews. I like their format for sending emails to subscribers so much more than any other platform I've used. The emails are really modern looking and simple, so they're appealing to my audience when I send them. I also like that I can simply reuse my last email and make changes to just the content. It makes sending a weekly email really simple.
Another huge benefit to me is that I can segment my subscribers into different groups that allows me to send targeted emails in a more efficient fashion. I also track users who have purchased a product so I don't send them emails about the product they've bought.
This software is an all in one, which I really like. Meaning, I am able to create an optin form, email sequence and product download all in one with this software. I love that it keeps everything really organized in this fashion.
Cons
Some of the ways to organize subscribers are a little confusing to a newbie. You can sort them into segments as well as mark users with tags. I wish it were more clear what each one did at first glance.
I also wish there were more options to design the optin forms. They are pretty basic and there isn't a lot of room for creativity, but they are still functional.

Really easy to use but a bit pricey
While using ConvertKit I found it really easy to use however I canceled my subscription due to the high price. Overall I think it's a good product but if you're on a tight budget it might not be the best product out there.
Pros
I like how everything is drag and drop, it makes it really easy to learn and use. The interface is very sleek and it's easy to find what you're looking for. The customer service is excellent too.
Cons
First of all, compared to alternatives it's expensive. Second, if you want to send more than text based emails you won't have many options. There aren't that many templates. It's better for sending plain text emails,
You have the HTML option but adding customizations is hard for people who don't want to code.

ConvertKit = Powerful Features I Need + Simplicity I Love.
Pros
Many bloggers are overwhelmed by the technical aspects of setting up a successful email newsletter strategy.
Yup, there are a variety of email platforms out there and I have managed large lists on many of them. For my Email on Autopilot system, I strongly recommend ConvertKit.
I can tell you from a lot of firsthand experience that “putting your email on autopilot” is WAY easier with ConvertKit than anything else I’ve tried.
ConvertKit was specifically built with bloggers and small businesses in mind, unlike other platforms that either don’t have the right tools or complicate things waaaayyy too much.
I recommend ConvertKit because it has the perfect combination of the powerful features that I need and the simplicity-of-use that I love.
Cons
I wish I had a little more flexibility in creating RSS-driven emails.
