A Zoom Overview - From a Digital Marketer and Small Business Owner
Zoom workplace has been integral to my professional life both with my digital marketing job and with my own business. Being able to meet virtually with my international team has opened up the doors for stronger bonds and communication.
Pros
Zoom Workplace makes it quick and simple to set up Meetings that integrate well with the Google Calendar. It has personally helped me immensely with my career to be able to meet my teams virtually, as we are international. The Chat feature during meetings helps a lot in terms of being able to send links within the Meeting itself, rather than another third-party service.
Cons
For my business, we save on operating expenses by using the free version of Zoom Workplace. However, this comes at the cost of Meetings having a 40 minute timer before it kicks everyone out. This can be remedied by simply rejoining using the same link, or setting up a new meeting. Even so, this timer is an unnecessary hindrance that makes us look unprofessional. If Zoom lets up simply rejoin to reset the timer, they should just increase the timer duration to at least an hour or remove the duration to begin with.

Google MeetReasons for Switching to Zoom Workplace
Unlike Google Meet, Zoom Workplace doesn't heat up my laptop significantly, nor does it lag. It seems that Zoom Workplace is a more lightweight application in comparison, making it compatible with more devices.- Industry: Alternative Medicine

Good Platform, though not always reliable.
I used it for a variety of meetings with clients and as a platform for workshops and courses over a couple of years. It felt easier to use early and and a they have grown I seemed to experience more technical issues, which seems strange.
Pros
It’s a great space to host meetings in a secure environment. I also appreciated the recording feature in which important meetings and webinars could be shared again and again.
Cons
For me I had connection issues, so this is a reason I discontinued my subscription. So it didn’t feel reliable, especially when the price tag is higher than other similar platforms

Reasons for Choosing Zoom Workplace
When video calling is your core need, Zoom works better.Reasons for Switching to Zoom Workplace
Every software has its nice to have, but in periods where video conferencing is your core need, zoom never leaves you down. Teams was to complex and difficult to implement. Meet too simple and brittle. Goto Meeting i liked but (in Italy) had some network problems sometimes.- Industry: Veterinary

Not a better video conferencing tool out there in my opinion
I believe it’s a really useful tool and one I’ll definitely continue to use in the future, especially for meetings with large numbers of people on. The layouts and functions make meetings of a large size easy to use.
Pros
Works seamlessly on a video call, especially in comparison to other platforms and the chat function is easy to use and well laid out.
Cons
Scheduling and settings of individual meetings can be a bit clunky and often involves the need to go on the web browser rather than doing everything from the app.

Zoom videoconferencing with all the bells and whistles
Good especially for teams and workgroups.
Pros
The most well known video conferencing program in the right place at the right time with the Covid pandemic. It was a secure way to do telemedicine. The new work suite now offers document and scheduling collaboration.
Cons
For telemedicine, during the pandemic, multiple security changes made it difficult for non tech patients to connect with. Also our zoom work account always displays the business name and not the employee name.
Alternatives Considered

I use zoom because our EMR had it integrated. We eventually switched to doxy.me for telemedicine because it was free and more user friendly than Zoom, while still secure.- Industry: Computer Software

Manage meetings and bookings in one platform
Zoom is widely used and is therefore used by many of my clients. It has a more intuitive UI and a better user experience than competitors. The possibilities to manage meetings and bookings (with the "Schedule" addon) is the best tool.

Cons
Cannot use two different accounts at once, if one has to login via SSO.

Zoom Workplace for Meetings
Overall, Zoom Workplace is ok. I have not yet used all of the features that are available to customers.
Pros
I like the feature of being able to have a meeting virtually. Also, when my clients schedule meetings with me using my scheduling link, they automatically receive a link for Zoom to sign in to.
Cons
I dislike that the free version only allows 40 minutes of meeting time. Why not make it an even 1 hour?

Best virtual platform ever
Zoom has been one of the best virtual meeting platform I've ever used. There are many great functions that are perfect for virtual classroom settings, virtual job meetings and calls.
Pros
I like its intuitive and easy way to access its key features without taking a long time to learn them. Zoom has been accessible by various levels of professionals and down to friends having calls during covid. It has made virtual remote work possible by providing ways to communicate in work virtually.
Cons
There are updates pop up when I am about to be in important meetings or zoom calls. Although the updates do not take long, I hope there can be ways that we can do the updates later.

Zoom makes video calls so easy
Overall, it’s really good. It’s rare to have connection issues and I wouldn’t really be able to function in my job without it. It syncs with my Google calendar, too. I love that. It makes life so much easier.
Pros
Most things about Zoom are great. I use the video feature everyday for interviews. I usually don’t have any connection issues and it’s really user friendly. Anyone could figure out how to use this software really quickly if they needed to.
Cons
The phone feature isn’t great sometimes. Calls do drop and I’ve had connection issues, too. One time I was actually connected with the same person, on 2 different lines, at the same time somehow. It was really confusing and I ended up restarting my computer to make sure I was completely disconnected.

On Point with flying colors
I have has several attempts in attendance with meetings held on Zoom from multiple companies. Zoom was easy in navigating; logging into each meeting was easy accessible.
Pros
Time sensitivity is completely accurate. While the video camera, exposure seems/feels like you are amongst others live, in real time. Others in the group setting have complained about the lack of audio; there were no cough ups on my end. Sound came through like a charm.
Cons
No complaints found on my part. The accuracy was right on track.

Zoom: A Lifesaver for Remote Collaboration
Overall this app has been very useful for me and with the help of this app I have been able to connect with many new students.
As for 40 minutes, I arrange a new meeting, which is very easy.
So far this app has served me well so I am motivated to use the paid version as well.
I have received positive replies from many people about this app
Thanks Zoom app
Pros
I find this app very easy to use in mobile because I can easily use the features that I want to access and all of them are available to me for free.
Due to this app I can connect with my students comfortably.
Cons
Through this app I can go live for free only for 40 minutes so I have to arrange meetings often. Yes, if you want to use it for free, this problem will remain. But for new meetings, this app can be easily accessed.

Zoom Review
I believe Zoom is the #1 platform when it comes to video conference. Not only it lets you talk in real time with colleagues but also has other built-in features that are extremely useful to review previous meetings and make conversations a bit more dynamic.
Pros
The features I most like about Zoom are its screen recording and sharing capabilities.I record a lot of tutorials and share screen recordings with my colleagues and during video presentations I love that I can screen share so others can view my presentations in a very dynamic way.
Cons
Zoom is great in every aspect but if I had to choose a feature I liked the least it would be the chat. It's a bit traditional-looking and I can't send multimedia messages through it, which sometimes it would be helpful during meetings.
