Great software and support
The software is great, and has helped us tremendously. Previous software was a challenge to get accurate reporting and was a nightmare for accounting. Their support has been nothing short of outstanding! They have gone well above and beyond to help integrate our custom requirements. With a great mobile app and integration to QuickBooks, my staff are easily able to update tickets in the field, invoice the client, collect payment, close the ticket and everything flows to QuickBooks. Client and ticket history is maintained easily and there isn't any duplicate data entry.
Pros
Ease of use. The workflow is straightforward and logical. Love their mobile app, love the integrations with QuickBooks, Zapier and NiceJob. We are using the custom forms option, which is well-integrated.
Cons
Booking portal does not have enough options for our needs. We have different arrival time windows for different types of service calls. FieldPulse only offers 1 option for an arrival time window, so we have to use a 3rd party booking system, and use Zapier to send over the appointments. Would really appreciate it if the API allowed all fields to be addressable, so integrations could fully integrate.

Great Software
Overall, Fieldpulse has been great and has allowed us to serve our customers better than previously. We have looked at other service software companies and we still like Fieldpulse and we like that Fieldpulse are constantly upgrading and adding features to the platform, which tells me they are listening to their subscribers/customers!
Pros
Ease of use. Great for small companies down to a 1 man company. Helps streamline operations
Cons
3 small things. I wish we could add the 3% to an invoice or estimate even if were connected to QB. Secondly would be the ability to eithe integrate with a 3rd party price book. Its difficult/cumbersome for small companies to establish a full blown flat rate pricing book(s). lastly, subcontractor usage. Would like to see the ability to have sub oversight. Currently, they have to be a part of the platform which raises cost and they won't need consistent access to the platform. MAybe a hybrid that they have functionality only on assigned jobs...

Unethical Company
I would need app pages to describe the nightmare that this has been. There is a reason there is no feee trial and a reason it’s a year long commitment. Basically they promised me something 3 different times before I signed the contract that turned out not to be accurate. At first I asked for a solution only to be ignored. I would reach out for help. It would take days for anyone to respond and their response had no resolution. So I would reach out again and days or a week would go by without a response. Then I would get. Let me talk to my team. After a while of this I asked for a manager. Let’s just say 1 month later I have yet to speak to a Manager. They either ignore it or just lie. So now since they made assurances they did not keep I just want to be out of the contract because the software is useless to me. They said no. They want to hold me hostage and take my money for the next 11 months for a software I cannot use. Basically after you sign and get your onboarding you are on your own. I was supposed to get a customer success manager for help. Never did. Reached out multiple times asking why with no response. Any ethical company would just let me out of the contract so I can move on. They are not ethical. Do not sign this contract. You will be stuck. There are better options that are month to month

Fieldpulse for the win
It’s been a game changer for us. We can customize just about anything we want to and have proper lines of communication while having everything scheduled. Everything is in one place in the Customer file which makes looking up things very easy!
Pros
It keeps us organized, as well as providing very good communication between our customers and our team!
Cons
Lack of automations. There’s some just not enough.

Easy, Reliable Service Software
The customer support is unbeatable, they are always very responsive and go above and beyond to find a solution to any question or problem we have.
Pros
I love that I can see the progress and status of jobs when the technicians are on site. The ease of being able to access information in the field that the office staff are able to upload is great!
Cons
It seems like the desktop version is easier to navigate. The mobile version however is as efficient as it can be with less screen space.

How FieldPulse Has Made My Life Better
Overall my experience has been good with Field Pulse because I'm still learning different aspects of the program. My Input Technician and Receptionist uses it more than I do, but I can do what I need to do with it.
Pros
What I liked most about Field Pulse is the notifications you get each time there is a service and it also let your clients know that you have received it.
Cons
The thing that I like least about Field Pulse is having to put my invoices on a usb drive to print multiple copies because my old system allowed for me to print them all at once without having to put them on a drive.

The program was old and the Owner wanted a program that could do more than generate invoices and service orders. Also it was more efficient and less time consuming. I also believed that our program that we had was soon going to be obsolete .Switched From

A great product, that keeps getting better.
It has been great. The on boarding was good, the team is helpful. If I have a concern they are generally already in the process of addressing the issue. If you are planning on growing a service business FieldPulse would be a great choice.
Pros
I like being able to have a smooth and consistent customer facing platform for my residential plumbing home service business. My branding and logo are part of every communication. I call display my options on job with my logo as well. When a customer pays a bill they get an email sent to the address on file. There is a lot of little features like that that make the process feel smooth and easy. Furthermore they have a much better pricing point compared to some of the systems. All in all FieldPulse is great it is going to get better and my company will be able to grow by using Fieldpuse.
Cons
There is some lag of features that are available in the United States that are not yet available in Canada, which is tough, but they are actively working on this issue and most have a timeline to be addressed in the near future. This is the only major fault I have experienced.

Ease of use. Being able to just click & hold to move schedules.
Cons
Not being able to delete scheduled things permanently when accidently duplicating. The program only allows you to cancel or archive.

I have had a phenomenal experience with FieldPulse so far! There are so many useful features and the support has been amazing. FieldPulse definitely gives my customers the professional and convenient experience they deserve. As my company grows, I’m looking forward to integrating even more of the features that are available with FieldPulse has to offer.
Pros
I love the pricebook and being able to set up templates along with inventory capabilities. These things are much more makes my life a lot easier running this business by myself.
Cons
The only issue I had is that the customer interface portal for scheduling does not block off my already scheduled appointments automatically. The other software I was looking into did not have that capability either. But this is not a big complaint because there is a new update that will integrate exactly what I’m looking for coming in a few weeks.

Outstanding Customer Support and Easy to Use
Pros
For starters, FieldPulse customer support is outstanding! My Customer Success Specialist, [sensitive content hidden], promptly responds to all my inquiries. To me, great customer support is a priority, especially regarding the software I use to run my business. I've had bad experiences with companies who don't care much about their customers. So, seeing how attentive [sensitive content hidden] is to my needs is very refreshing.
Secondly, the software is very easy to use. I was offered an onboarding/training call that I haven't done yet. But even without the training, I was able to hop in and start creating customers, estimates, and invoices in minutes. The very intuitive interface makes even a novice comfortable about using the system. I look forward to scheduling my training call to use all the features offered to help grow and manage my business.
Cons
I guess one negative would be having to purchase add-ons to utilize the system fully. Having a business phone number tied into the system is a necessity. For that to happen with FieldPulse, you must purchase the Engage add-on, increasing the monthly cost. But with that said, they give you 5 new phone numbers and unlimited minutes and texts. Every correspondence is attached to the client dashboard. So now I use only one phone number to communicate with my clients instead of using FB Messenger, Instagram DMs, and personal text messages. It is much easier to keep track of everything this way. You can also port your existing phone number into the system if needed. Even with the extra monthly cost of the Engage add-on, FieldPulse is still cheaper than most other field management/CRM services available. So I guess the small increase in cost really isn't a negative after all.

FieldPulse is Fantastic!
FieldPulse allows me, as an estimator, to create organized proposals to send to our clients. It's also nice to have so many features like being able to duplicate older proposals. That saves me a lot of time!
Pros
Organized, easy way to manage projects from estimate to completion.
Cons
I don't like the catalog of line items having to save every different line item that's edited.

Highly recommend
Pros
My company has been using field pulse since the start of the year and I have been impressed. A bit of a bumpy start as you would expect when a company switches applications but the Field Pulse team has been very responsive and helpful. Field pulse is continuously trying to add featured that make our job easier. Andrew on the field Pulse team has been really helpful.
Cons
At the moment I don't have and dislikes. There are the occasional bugs that can disrupt the work flow but they are short lived.

Still learning, but loving the system!
Love it! Love that calls are recorded, customer flow is great and ease of seeing previous years jobs.
Pros
The ability to track calls and communication when customers state they never received, the system shows if it’s been opened.
Cons
I would Like a notes section that time stamps each entry for techs/office to see an overview on opening a profile.
Not being able to set the addresses on invoices to fit in business window envelopes, it will not line up.

Pros
I liked the fact that [sensitive content hidden] my Customer Success Specialist, is so very kind and helpful. Whenever you need her she is right there to answer all of my question.
Cons
What I like the least is the fact that it's rather pricey for a small business just starting out. Plus they don't give you a trial to use first. We had to purchase it first and there was a 15-day refund policy in place. But I would have preferred a trial without committing first.

So far everything has been great along with customer service when needed.
Pros
FieldPulse is jam packed with features and is integrating more features over time. We left HousecallPro for FieldPulse and also considered Service Titan at one point, but don’t regret this decision.

New to Field pulse
Overall the experience has been great with the follow up from Holly, the system does needs some tweaks but we are getting it figured out.
Pros
ease of navigation, good communication with our account manager Holly.
Cons
the top columns need to stay as you scroll down in customer and in the invoice sections so you know what each column is. the down load for our customer file was an issue with how it intergrated. also the field payments messed up on the account set up which caused delays and issues. However a bright star with our account manager Holly Shelton really kept up on the issues and got them solved for me. thank you.
