The programme is well structured
Pros
The programme is well structured, very intuitive and easy to use. I built my homepage with Smoobu quickly and despite the fact that there are no different graphics or layout options, the site is impressive and loads easily on all devices. The support guys are very helpful and respond on time.

Everything you need in a PMS
This is a great PMS. I haven’t had any glitches or issues with it which is one of the most important things. It does everything I need it to do. I have recommended it to many people and have used it for several clients as a booking engine on their direct rental sites.
Pros
I have used Smoobu for 4 years now for my 6 listings and use it as a booking engine on my own website. It works wonderfully. I love the ease of use as a user and to set up. It has many great features from the automated guest messages, guidebook, booking engine, etc. I have used for several client’s websites as well.
Cons
There are a couple features I wish it had, mostly to do with pricing/discount options to offer so I could offer the same options that I do on Airbnb.
I wish that you could set up discounts fo specific dates. Unfortunately any discounts set up apply to all dates.
I do wish the pricing sync with VRBO had been fixed by now.

Good software if you need only some basic functions
Good customer support. Smoobu is good if you need basic functions; it lacks some more advanced functionality compare to other PMS. Easy to navigate.

• Messaging: No option to archive messages currently.
• No push notifications from Airbnb & Booking to the Smoobu app when a guest (Airbnb) sends an enquiry only (before they book) I do not receive this into my Smoobu messages.
• when a guest books and the booking confirmation email is sent, it does not appear in my Smoobu message inbox either so I dont see the communication trail.
• Attachments on messages, it is not possible as portals like Airbnb and Booking.com block messages with these.
• As we are still sending messages through their connections, we have to abide by their rules.
• For now, it's just text for messaging - which is why we offer the Guest Guide as a workaround to help you
• Cannot re-order item in Guest Guide
• Font size formating in Guest Guide does not work for me

Good for small company
Overall a good experience. We used Smoobu, untill we started hiring Customer Service staff and they needed a centralized communication terminal that when we switched. For most entrepreneurs who runs Airbnbs it works great, in many wasy more simple than other solutions on the market. I wish they did make the SMS automation work, I wish full API integration with VRBO worked as well. But you cant get everything.
Pros
Price is the best. It does basic things like it will keep all your listings in sync. Forget about centralized messaging, because certain things just won't sync like VRBO. But for small operators 1-5 peroperties it works great, and price you can't beat

27+ rental properties in Smoobu
There are many cons and pros to this chanel manager, but we are still planing to use it as moving from it with a lot of properties would not be worth our time. The chanel manager offers us stability majority of time and a website integration.
Pros
Smoobu app is a good starting point for anyone who want to give a chanel mannager a try.We currently have 27 properties and all of them are managed through smoobu. Website is built through smoobu (you can check it - www.poloapartments.lt)As a user for more than 3 years, I can recommend this program as it is easy to use, responsive and gives us a lot of functions.The price is very good compared to all other chanel managers.

However, there are flaws. For example, our website is built on 3 different languages, while smoobu check-out is only in one language. I have personally been requesting this change for more than 1 year. No progress. (To add, they do boast that they adapt their program to their clients needs).Some times there are maintanances that make the smoobu completely offline. If it happens in a busy period, you might get double bookings.The invoices just as the check-out page is only in English with no other language choices.When uploading a property to smoobu, there are only a few ammenities to select. There is no free parking selection window. It is very important to have.To add, smoobu engine does no allow to select the amount of children or pets. It only allows selecting adults.There a

The best part of smoobu, by far: its customer service
We manage all bookings of our three holiday rentals in Smoobu, as well as communication with our guests. We also use Smoobu as a channel manager, to coordinate our bookings with the ones we receive from Airbnb.
Pros
While the features of smoobu are all we need, their customer service is just out of this world. Since smoobu is really stable (well-coded I guess), we don't need their help all too often. However, when we do, we get a.) competent and b.) quick replies, every single time.
Cons
Not much, maybe just the fact that they recently increased their prices and for us it made quite a difference. We've been using Smoobu since 2018 and we were used to their legacy prices

Pros
Smoobu makes landlord life easier! Great solutions, very good support. I wouldn't want to rent without Smoobu anymore. I didn't dare to use the web building kit at first, but now I have my own website from Smoobu's building kit. Since I'm an IT layman, that's saying something. Self Catering Owner of One Property
Love the automation as we still work full time so need the admin to be as automated as possible.
Pros
Smoobu was the first channel manager e used when we started as i wanted something that could manage the OTA's from one place and Smoobu does this. I also love the fact it integrates with our dynamic pricing tool, pricelabs. These tools are essential as an owner especially if you still work full time.
Cons
Id love to see a full pricing api with VRBO and the minute i have to pay for two api links. When booking using the booking tool, it would be great if the customer email could pass through to Stripe so the receipt is emailed at the point of booking. This is manual at the moment. If we could have a search availability tool that can be added as aa widget to a website, that would be helpful. At the minute it is only available on the booking widget but a smaller version where you can check your dates would be good.

Awesome Software for Vacation Rental Management
We've owned our condo for just over a year. I found Smoobu when I was initially looking for a software tool to help me get up and running renting through Airbnb and VRBO. From the first day through today, they have been super supportive and helpful. The product integrates nicely with those travel sites (and others) to keep things organized (i.e. no double bookings), helps tremendously with communications and provides a great customer experience with all our guests. I would highly recommend Smoobu!

Once it's set up, it is absolutely indispensable and critical to organize and coordinate a vacation rental.
Cons
Nothing really... All questions are answered quickly and they continue to add additional features.

Good software. It is possible to make it excellent software
Overall convenient and friendly software. In my opinion with some other functions like the ones I mentioned it can turn from good software into excellent software.
It is important for me to add that there are similar software to this one at lower prices and at more expensive prices. In my country the average monthly software cost ranges around 50 euros. If you were able to connect a credit company that works with Israel and flexibility along with invoice automation, I have no doubt that I would recommend many to switch to this software.

1.There is no clear place to see a customer payment status.
2. In my country the software cannot connect to a credit card so I need to use more software.
3. If I want to issue a concentrated invoice at the end of a month to a supplier that sends customers to me it is problematic. That is, it is not possible to open a clean invoice and associate it with customers that I had this month.

Pros
I started using Smoobu back when it was really small and sort of beta version and liked it from the getgo. In the meantime they have improved and expanded so much and i am truly happy for them because what they offer is a high quality product. The platform is easy to use,intuitive and responsive,easily accessible on all devices. The customer service is fast and helpful. Already converted many of my colleagues into clients and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tool that helps organise your hospitality small business.

Comprehensive Channel Manager
I have been using Smoobu for over 8 months now and our entire family is very happy to be able to use it. We all use it pretty much daily to mainly accept reservations and coordinate check-ins and check-outs.
Pros
Using Smoobu was an absolute game changer for us. Being able to adjust prices and reservations once and apply them automatically to all the different platforms on which our properties are listed saves as a huge amount of work plus it provides a great overview of the reservations of all properties in one place.
Cons
Connecting the calendar with some specific portals was a bit difficult, which mainly has to do with the technical expertise of the portals though.
The payment system integrated in our website works great. It would be helpful to be able to include different bank accounts for different properties though.

Easy to use, intuitive. Great dashboard with everything you need all in one screen. All backed up by the best customer service I have had with a Channel Manager. It's like having a back office that actually likes working with you. Before discovering Smoobu I had tried 2 other channel managers. I lasted 9 months with the first and only 3 months with the second. They were difficult to navigate, badly designed. The customer service was awful, you had to either send an email and wait for a reply or make an appointment sometime in the future to get a call back (that often just didn't happen). I was going crazy and about to give up on finding something that worked. Then I found Smoobu. It was a Saturday afternoon, and they had a telephone number. Just out of curiosity I called (expecting a voicemail saying they were closed). Much to my surprise a human being answered. I was up and running within hours. A connection that with a previous company had taken 3 weeks took them 2 minutes. Yes I know, unbelievable. No more stress. No more feelings of isolation. No more double bookings (and being told it was somehow my fault). I am now relaxed and happy and growing my business. And concentrating on my guests. I really feel like I have found a business partner who cares about me and is part of my success.

Friendliness of use and functionality
Smoobu is evolving and staying on top of its game. There was never an issue not solved and very important Smoobu team delivered what they promised. After being with Smoobu for almost 4 years I can say I'm happy especially with their friendly contact and professional support.

Excellent resource for syncing calendars and interfacing with website
My overall experience with Smoobu was excellent.
Pros
The feature that was most impactful is the ability to sync calendars from Airnbn, VRBO onto one calendar that was used to interface on my personal website for my short term rental property. Very good value for the functionality and service provided. Excellent customer service. All questions were answered in timely, clear and helpful manner.
Cons
There were a couple of times when I needed to contact Smoobu as canceled reservations on Airbnb do not automatically clear on the Smoobu system. Once I realized it was necessary to double check my main calendar after a guest canceled, it wasn't a problem.

Managing prices and availability is very easy, even from the smartphone.
The software allows you also to make most changes to your properties by yourself.
Messaging with guest from one place makes you save a lot of time: no need to log in and out all day.
Automatic mails do the job for you.

If you are searching for the perfect platform to organize the whole rental management, Smoobu is the best so far, why? because very user friendly, all the tools just as easy as the Airbnb platform! fresh and modern design, easy to use
I don't own a hotel. But can look just as professional as a hotel manager with a single vacation rental.
Pros
As a single user, I need a simple application that will manage all of my channels. With smoobu, I can do this on the PC, on the tablet and even on the go with my smartphone. Fast communication with the guests on all my channels, creating and sending invoices that was a horror without smoobu.
The new design is very good. Everyone I show this to is delighted.
Cons
There is nothing wrong with the software. I want to make my own decisions at certain points and that works well. There could be more experiences in the guest app, but that's not a software problem.
