Easy to Get Started, Effective to Run Projects
Awesome experience! The pricing was great and it does offer a lot of features that benefit your project management and flow. Compared to its most competitors, it charges less and the user interface is just easy to use.
Pros
Easy user interface and greatly simple to manage projects and team members' work.
Cons
Sometimes the web app was slow to load and could get laggy with data overload.

Great product! Wish I was still using it!
I was tasked with finding a software that would give my department a place to store our workplans. We have multiple divisions within the department and needed something to be able to show our commissioner a snapshot of our projects for the year. Click-up was amazing! It was visual, had so much detail that could be included and so much functionality and editing capacity that it can be used for a whole range of data. The system is user friendly and I had to do minimal training with staff as it is very intuitive.
Pros
Click-up is easy to use, visually stimulating, well organized and can provide a great snapshot of company projects, timelines and status. The FAQs are great and so are the Youtube videos.
Cons
I liked everything about Click-Up. I did not have any cons when using this program.

Managing Tasks & Time
For personal use I think it's great to keep your productivity on track. The free plan gives you a generous amount of options to use but if you need more options for teams you'll have to upgrade.
Pros
This a one stop app for tasks, goals, mind maps documents the lot. Reminders and events can sync with everyone involved to ensure productivity stays high. Customer service was also pretty good.
Cons
Their A.I feature is at best mediocre with an additional fee per month. There isn't a feature to create invoices and bill inside the app. The proofing option wasn't as robust as I would've liked either.

Great platform - if it fits your budget
Pros
Clickup is a great tool for those looking to track projects, tasks and collaborate with other members of the team. My position is a lot of projects that include all types of creative work. Clickup allows me to track the progress of each project and keep writing in the same place. It also allows me to collaborate with other team members and keep track of upcoming tasks/projects.
I also love that I'm able to access other workspaces from the same space. This allows me to use Clickup for personal tasks/projects as well but keep them separate so my coworkers can't see them or access them.
Cons
I wish Clickup had a more substantial, and permanent, nonprofit discount. Our nonprofit is relatively small with limited space in the budget. Clickup's discount for nonprofits is small and only applies to the first year. That is a major barrier for adoption.

Forewarned is forearmed
Purchase, customer service, updates, investment and intuiative usablity it gets top marks. Because the version inwas using didn't have much AI going on (2023-2024) if I left it too long then updating became too much of a chore. Which is certainly my issue not ClickUps.
Pros
I loved the detail and customiseability of the entire platform. I'd previously mapped out my core processes and it was intuitive to put them into projects and tasks and assign times etc. When everything was set up and out of my head ClickUp felt like it could manage everything and as I worked, I updated, so everything was visibly on track (or not) and nothing was forgotten. Thats a lot of peace of mind.
Cons
The heavier in detail I went, the more it needed updating and attention. I had a period a couple of months in where for whatever reason i stopped using it and cracked on with a busy period and when I came back to it, there was far too much time required to go through all the projects etc so it kind of fizzled out. If there is a team of you, and someone other than the owner becomes the champion of ClickUp I can see this being a game changer.
Reasons for Switching to ClickUp
Cost and the amount of detail and setup was off putting.- Industry: Financial Services

ClickUp: Efficient Flow of Assessment
Thanks to ClickUp, it completely changed the way we manage assessment workflow. I like the organizational interface and strong automation tools that have enhanced business and team organization processes. Coordinating many assessment projects at once has proved to be one of the major benefits of the software.
Pros
Calculated risk levels linked to an integrated assessment adaptable to user needs and including automated task dependencies and priority changes. Collaboration tools that enable several analysts to work on a single intricate assessment while also managing data cohesion.
Cons
The Gantt chart may have more integrated forms of graphical interface for timeline management for the assessment projects. Specific opportunities are available when it comes to developing assessment templates. There exists an opportunity for even more flexibility with respect to reporting as metrics in the reporting dashboard.

All in one PM tool, note-taker, client wiki, and much more
Generally, ClickUp has been the best solution for me to combine the features of a typical project management system with notion-like features.
Pros
I love the fact that I can customise it so much. I used an outside agency to set it up, so now it's all organised the way I like it. Also love the way I can have wikis for each client.
Cons
Takes up a lot of resources on my laptop. Can sometimes slow down the rest of my PC.

Whiteboards Make ClickUp Stand Out
Overall I have no complaints, and I am still using ClickUp for the whiteboard feature.
Pros
Two things I really like bout ClickUp. The first is their Timesheets. Entering your time is super easy, you can track whether your hours are billable or not, and there's even a way to track your hours with a timer. The second feature is the Whiteboard feature, which isn't available with any of the other products I have tested.
Cons
Unfortunately, I need to upgrade to a paid subscription to continue using the Timesheets feature, which is one of the main reasons for using ClickUp, and I can use a free version of other programs for time tracking.
Reasons for Switching to ClickUp
I actually use TrackingTime for keeping track of my time since I would have to upgrade to continue to use timesheets, and ClickUp for the whitebaord feature.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

Clikup the behemoth
Great now that I have used it for over a year, should make things a lot more simpler. I still feel giving so much functionality is gonna confuse a lot of users out there.
Pros
Well its a behemoth of an application and can have a lot of integrations in it. Automations and now with AI summaries makes getting tasks done easier.
Cons
Its just too big, when I started using it. I hated it like anything due to its sheer size (obviously a lot of teams in my company so a lot of boards). Getting used to was really difficult. Its super slow. Slow as in you can compare it to a tortoise.

Maybe the most complete tool you need to manage your projects
To put it in one word I will say it was great. I used it in the past and also I've tried multiple other solutions like Jira, Asana, Plaky, and many more others trying to find the perfect tool but somehow I always relied on ClickUp. It's not the perfect solution but I think is there compared with other solutions on the market.
Pros
I find the concept of spaces the most complete for my needs. I use spaces for customers, and I put all the client projects there as folders, but I also use them for large projects.
Cons
The loading speed. I tried on multiple different networks but it has that lazy loading that way in the past, when I started to use the tool it was not there.
Reasons for Choosing ClickUp
I found the user experience to be more friendly and simple on ClickUp compared with JiraReasons for Switching to ClickUp

ClickUp Is Probably The Best - But Like Any Tool, It Comes Down to How Well It’s Setup
I’ve used Teamwork before ClickUp and was hesitant at first. I really didn’t see anything wrong with Teamwork like the rest of my co-workers did, but once I got the hang of ClickUp, I was hooked. It was a much better and extendable system.
Pros
It’s ease-of-use, flexibility, and the fact that it is very customizable allowing any type of business to utilize the software efficiently.
Cons
Copy and pasting formatted documents out of ClickUp, going in to ClickUp needs work. Tables do not copy over nicely, or at all really. Spreadsheets could use some attention as well. Yes, they copy over, but they don’t format that well visually.

With great power, comes great responsibility
ClickUp is great, we've tried numerous other project management platforms and it's a top-tier product. Overall, it helped us increase productivity, but with some growing pains and if you're going to go all-in with ClickUp you need at least one person dedicated to making sure things keep working and team members are using it.
Pros
Clickup allows you to build out processes and workflows where you can manage them from a single place while also allowing internal/external members to see "where things are at" in terms of deliverables.
Cons
Clickup has an insane amount of customization and that can be overwhelming if you're coming into it cold and if you start building things as a newbie, there's a good chance down the road or when you go to scale that you made some poor organizational decisions (speaking from experience).

ClickUp, your excellent TASK TRACKER
ClickUp is our go-to tool for making software updates and track every step of our journey developing, analyzing, and testing.
Pros
I think the most liked thing about ClickUp is the integrations module, you can make a real powerful tool with those.
Cons
I think the freemium plans had some issues when upgrading from those, we had some problems starting our journey with ClickUp

Solid all in one product
Overall though, especially as a user I'm very happy with the product and it works the best out of all we have tried, especially also for the other non IT/Development departments that struggled with utilizing other solutions before
Pros
It is a fully fledged all in one solution for Product Development.
We use it from creating and tracking high level goals to individual projects and even our ticket system is here.
Added to that it has a robust set of supporting features like Documents, Graphs, and Video recording (for help videos etc.)
Cons
It can be unreliable, from just beeing very slow in general, to loading issues that keep cropping up where I can't edit Task descriptions because the field is just in a loading loop.
To a lesser degree for a user but for me as an admin:
Upselling, they are constantly trying to upsell you, from AI to courses to the business plus plan (which on their pricing page they don't even list, but they love gating little things behind)
Similiarly they love to tell you how easy it is to add a user in the middle of a month, but remove one and suddenly you have "an open seat" that you should quickly fill since you are already paying for it. Those and other examples just make the practices feel very money grabby and I'm kind of fearing them taking away features just to add into another extra premium fee.

Almost helped me get my life together! Almost.......
Overall, I really appreciate ClickUp and I want to be able to utilize it consistently. For myself personally, as someone with ADHD tendencies this software is extremely intriguing, yet at the same time it's too complicated and time consuming to be a helpful day-to-day tool. If I had more time (and attention!) I could see this software being an intrigal piece in how I managed my life - both for work and home. Someday, I could see this happening. But until I have the time to make this happen, I'm off in search of the one true software that might finally help me to get my life organized!
Pros
Click up has SO many features! Even their free version is loaded with different tools to help you organize/plan/create/coordinate etc.. I love all of the options that are available throughout the experience of uing Clickup. Users are able to tailor and personalize almost all default settings/templates at every step along the way. I also appreciate the emphasis on versatility and adaptability of this software. This software is fully functional for user's Work and/or Personal goals/projects/plans etc.. as well as when being utilized as an individual user or within a team of user's who are collaborating..
Cons
The software has so many great features and options but the one downside is accessibility and ease of use for user's. The app on my IOS apple iphone SE was almost unusable (for me!) I am not an expert when it comes to using software but I'm also not a novice. For me the app was very confusing and took so much time/energy to set up that it was not worth even trying.

The app is not easy-to-use, productive, efficient. No bug fixing. only money & time lost.
The App was an aim to help Project managers in their work and life, and instead - it makes it more complicated. The bugs are not fixed, the features are not improved. I reported many bugs since a year (wrong filters working, statises not visible, wrong data tracki g and much more), but the company did nothing about it. We get info about an updates every month on our mailboxes but none of the crucial bugs was ever fixed. I have 300+250 tasks on ClickUp, they are not able to tell when they would be able to fix those, so no Roadmap. I am a Project manager and product Owner since many years and I havent seen that kind of Roadmap Management in my lifetime. I lost much money and time cause I was not on time with many tasks and what was the cause? The ClickUp shows different tasks on different lists and somehow many on them are not visible, even if I use date Filter or due date "last 7 days" etc - we cannot trust this App, and instead of giving some Roadmap, we still do not know whether its good to move 1000 tasks somewhere else or what. And it has been since almost a year.
Sometimes I got answer like "We cannot estimate the time but its in the Review" for 15 weeks... And sometimes - no info for long time, promising they are working on it and then - tadaaam "We are not working on it cause its only you who reported that bug and we prioritize bugs and issues Based on the number of reporters". Omg. It is unbelieveable.
Of course you would get AI updates, some integrations etc, but the crucial things like reponsiveness, productivity, reliable features, bug fixing, filters working properly, lists showing right tasks every moment - this is something you cannot See.
ClickUp Team, info that developers are working on sth for weeks, months or you cannot estimate the time is neither empowering their businesses nor saving their time money / nor giving them overview of how the Projects are going and whether they should perform some actions etc. Whasn't that the aim of the App?
If I loose more than 50€ once again due to the bugs, I am done of waiting… Please, think twice while choosing the app. Especially if you don’t want to have your work disruptive.
Moreover, I got info “We have only one report of this issue, the issue doesn't block workflow, and there are viable workarounds using the web and desktop apps.” -> the ClickUp team told be that I could use computer to workaround this. Really? heavy computer everyday with me, those days? Web app is terrible, no responsiveness at all.
Really, I was about to have “The Highest Rated Project Management Platform” “ClickUp's easy-to-use product management software keeps your team productive, efficient and headache-free” “ClickUp's productivity platform is constantly improving as we release new features requested by our clients every single week.” ar they told avout the app, and unfortunately no progress in those really crucial bugs and features. The slogans on the websites are not real.
Pros
Maybe the layout, I thouth it would be useful. I like the dependencies.
Cons
The app is not easy-to-use, productive, efficient. No bug fixing. only money & time lost.

Mobile Home V3 | In My Work, opening a task and returning to the view places you back at the top of the list - could you imagine having to review/change the due dates and every time scrolling to the bottom (200+ tasks on the list) to change the date of one particular task? Podcast/E-Learning Production Awesome-ness
It's the program I was looking for, and I don't use a team (yet), which is where it's spending most of its development time (understandably). If/when I am prepared to expand my business, ClickUp will still be the tool.
Pros
GANTT charts and dependencies, timelines and warnings, reminders of steps and re-usable templates episode by episode, online lesson production to next, ClickUp does what I need it to. Anything else is a stand-alone spreadsheet in comparison.
Cons
The initial interface for a new user is truly intimidating, and it doesn't have to be. ClickUp University does a fair job of leading folks through (but it was incomplete when I began using it). So prepare for a period of time for learning its functional power and versatility--and definitely engage the user communities on social media who are very helpful. Recommendations: Design an onboarding experience that shows a more rudimentary interface that increases in complexity as the user gets comfortable and engages new options; right now, it's the opposite: showing everything and having users slim down what they don't need.
