Notion's customization is amazing and we couldn't live without it!
Working with Notion has been great, I love the custom features, I love that we can use it to manage so many things, goal tracking, project management, HR handbooks, shared calendars, there's so many benefits.
Pros
I absolutely LOVE how customizable it is. We work with quite a few clients, and we can customize Notion for all of their businesses.
Cons
Even after you get the hang of it, Notion can still feel overwhelming at times. Though I love customization, there are lots of customization options and it can get confusing. There's a steep learning curve, so you'll need to do a lot of research to make things work.

Powerful and Highly Customizable
Notion has been a game-changer from managing projects and organizing ideas. Its versatile and powerful but takes time to set up and learn effectively
Pros
The flexibility is incredible, you can customize it to fit almost any workflow, from task management to knowledge bases, all in one app.
Cons
It can be overwhelming for new users, and some advanced features feel hidden behind a learning curve, offline access could also be more reliable

Notion Never Gave Me Motion
Frustrating. Maybe I'm not built for engineering-precise note-taking and hierarchical tagging. Maybe the whole idea of neatly-organized files is an ideal that appeals to me only in the abstract, while I merrily play in my own messy pile of journals, notes, and digital ephemera
Pros
It offered me a way to overcome my chaotic information-gathering system and bring it all under one digital roof. The extensive range of templates was useful in testing new ways to work with the app and reduce the learning curve.
Cons
The learning curve is long, steep, and a real obstacle to adapting Notion to what would have been my new work style. I often felt like not doing something on Notion because it would involve a 20-minute crash course, and my manual-but-chaotic method could do it in seconds. I ended up doing less rather than more, not the sign of a useful tool for me

The Swiss-army knife of project management tools
It's great. I use it for so many things. The customer support is really good if you get stuck on anything and they seem to be adding new features that make it even more of a valuable tool.
Pros
It is fantastic for a whole bunch of different uses. It can work as a project management tool, a wiki, database, notetaker app, calendar, reading list, spreadsheet - and a lot more. It's really versatile which makes it a great product that reduces the number of other tools you need.
Cons
It's a bit clunky if you're using it for client work. As in someone who won't have a premium subscription as you have to share each individual page with them separately. But there are work arounds for that.

Cons

Reminds me of an old-school Diary but with Vibes
This is my go-to for personal task track outside of Asana. The fact that you can separate work-related stuff from sensible work information is a plus
Pros
This is the OCD dream come true. Personalization, templates and tasks managements for both personal use and team collaboration is amazing!
Cons
It has a very specific mouse limit for drag-and-drop features and you have to spend a couple of hours learning the kinks.

I’m a BIG fan of Notion
I love Notion and I use it for all my task tracking. I have also recommended to others, especially in the start-up space.
Pros
Love the capabilities and integrations available with the array of templates. I like that the community can build templates, so there are many options to suit whatever your needs are. I like that you can use light coding to tailor your workspaces and templates to be exactly what you want them to be.
Cons
It’s a little difficult to reset a template or get all the values to zero when you want to repurpose it or get ride of placeholder content.

We use it daily, but it can be much better.
Pros
I like that it gives centralized cooperation space for documents so we can keep all important docs in one place.
Cons
It feels a bit buggy at times - text lost, delayed notifications, and sometimes it feels very chaotic. I wish there was a better way to organize the documentation.

If you've got goals, Notion can help you reach them through its stellar organization!
Notion is a tool that I am excited to use for work on my own or with others. It feels reminiscent of the days when I used to have papers, post-its, highlighters and such on a physical desk...except this is more organized an all online. It is a digital workspace that allows for all of my ideas to connect (if I want them to) and provides me an organized system (thank you, Templates) to actually keep myself accountable with making progress on my goals.
Pros
Project management is pretty great, helps with brainstorming, lists, tasks, and organizing ideas, templates are time-savers, easy to access on computer or phone (offline access is also a plus)
Cons
Limited/nonexistent design customizations, cannot manage complex projects, feels clunky at times, occasional lags with loading sections, search functionality leaves a little to be desired, challenging to learn for newbies to organizational software

Digital Organization at its Finest!
I've been looking for ways to improve my organizational skills. Most of my life I've had a tendency to allow clutter in my spaces, physically, mentally and yes- even digitally. Notion is helping me organize all of this clutter and find a system that truly works for me, and for that I am SO grateful!
As I'm getting older (38 currently), I've become more aware of how important it is to simplify and organize our spaces.
In comes Notion: my solution to stacks of physical notebooks, dozens of desktop sticky notes on my computer, etc. Notion has made it SO simple for me to organize my thoughts, my school work (as a non-traditional bachelors student in my late 30s, Notion has helped me in tremendously!!!), my blog writing, my content creation, recipes, family schedules, and so much more. Notion.so, thank you for playing a part in improving my life, I love you! lol
Pros
I have so many favorite Notion Features! I will try to list them all. Some things I love: The templates - you can purchase templates or find some for free. (You can also learn to create your own templates. I am not that advanced yet, but one day when I have time I'd love to learn more). I absolutely LOOOOVE the search feature and utilize it pretty much daily (multiple times a day even). This saves SO much time. Think about it: with a physical notebook, you have to scan the pages to find specific information (when studying, looking for a specific recipe you’ve written down, etc) but with Notion? Just use the search bar to search a phrase, term, whatever you're looking for, and bam: there it is!!
I could go on and on about all of the features I love about Notion, but I'll include a list of the ways I use it daily: daily journaling with the built-in journal feature (I customized it to my preference), checklists (to help me organize daily, weekly, monthly tasks), the Pomodoro Technique template is awesome (set a timer and really focus on each task at hand!); I regularly use the "Toggle" feature so that my pages aren't too terribly long, I can open the toggle to see more information. I absolutely LOVE that you can embed YouTube Videos, webpages, PDFs, images and more right into Notion! This has helped me organize things so well! I love the "Reading" List! You can add books you'd like to read, you're currently reading, rate the book and include tons of info. I've taken it a step further an added my e-books, chapter summaries, etc to keep all of my book information together and easily assessible for quick refreshers at any time! I could honestly go on all day about all of the amazing, helpful, and time-saving features within Notion.
Cons
I honestly cannot identify much that I like least about Notion. So far I am loving each feature. As with anything, some things may take time to practice and figure out (an example is creating my own templates using formulas etc to meet specific need, but I'll work on that later when time allows). Overall, Notion is VERY intuitive and easy to use.

Notion makes your work and personal life just a little easier
I started using Notion to keep track of various personal tasks but it has grown to encompass most of the administration of my work and personal to-do lists and projects. A superb experience.
Pros
I love the ability to combine notes, code, project management, wiki building and documentation under one interface.
Cons
Some of the text editing can be a little quirky until you get used to the interface, but this is improving swiftly.

Why I live in notion on a daily basis
I live in my notion database as an independent consultant, using it for tasks, meeting notes, second brain database and heaps more. It took me about 6 months to really find my feet but once it clicked, the capability has been super impressive. The community support around the product is fantastic, and the ability to buy templates makes up for the steeper learning curve if you are having trouble getting started.
Pros
Flexibility to create what you need. The AI tool is a game changer as far as recalling info within your database.
Cons
It does have a steep learning curve, although there is training available, and heaps of resources online, it still takes some time to get your head around it if you have not used a system like this before.

Flexibility at your fingertips!
I'm constantly impressed by the new updates that Notion is putting out -- I love that it's a collaborative tool with a strong relationship with its user community. It really feels like the company is listening to its customers and responding to their feedback, and also working closely with third party apps to create flexible, seamless experiences.
Pros
Notion is such a versatile and powerful tool! I use it extensively for collaboration and planning at work and in my personal life. The UI is incredibly intuitive, so even though there's so much you can do in the app, it's never overwhelming or difficult to figure out how to achieve the outcome you're looking for.
Cons
Notion is a very flexible tool, so it's really helpful if you come into a project with an idea of what you want your end result to be. Without that initial "vision," I had some trouble fully communicating the app's capabilities and scope to my colleagues.

Notion makes an excellent and professional looking homebase.
A colleague shared a public document in Notion and I was immediately charmed by the clarity of the interface and wanted to learn more. Quite frankly, I was finding the Google Docs experience to be so unattractive as to be off brand. I can create much more professional shared documents in Notion. Additionally, the easy availability of databases made moving my knowledge management to Notion an no-brainer.
Pros
It is easy to get started in Notion and very intuitive. Creating attractive interfaces and database views is relatively simple. I appreciate being able to mix multiple media and data sources into one document.
Cons
There are so many possibilities with Notion it can be challenging to find the solution or template that will actually meet your need.

My two year of Notion
After using Notion for two years, I've found it to be an incredibly versatile tool for organizing projects and personal tasks. Its ability to customize pages and link different content types made it easy to create tailored workflows. However, I did encounter some challenges, like occasional slow performance with larger pages and a bit of a learning curve when first starting out. Despite these issues, its flexibility and all-in-one functionality have made it a staple in my productivity toolkit.
Pros
Notion's flexibility and customization options are what I like most. It allows users to create and organize information in a way that suits their needs, whether for personal projects, team collaboration, or even complex workflows. The ability to integrate different types of content like text, images, databases, tasks into one platform and then link them.
Cons
Notion can be slow with large pages, has a steep learning curve, and offers limited offline access. Also it sometimes fail to last locally saved copy

Want to build a digital library? Use Notion
Pros
Notion was the first app I used on my Macbook Pro to organize my entire life, track all of my notes, coursework progress, document drafting, saving bookmarks, publishing public pages to the web and sharing information with others. These are just some of the older features, recently they've added new tools to customize and make the most out of the app. There are plenty of free features to make this app very useful.
Cons
There is no Offline version, unfortunately. Not only that, I wish there was a way to turn off the AI feature, or use an API key from a non-Notion AI integration.
I also wish there were more integrations as well, but I haven't looked into that side of things for quite a while, so there might be many more that I'm unaware of.

A tool for everyday use
My experience with Notion has been very positive. It has become an essential tool for both my personal and professional life due to its all-in-one nature. I appreciate how I can use it to manage my tasks, organize projects, take notes, and collaborate with others, all in a single platform.
Pros
One of the things I liked most about Notion is its incredible flexibility. Notion combines note-taking, task management, databases, and collaboration tools all in one platform.
Cons
What I liked least about Notion is its performance when handling large databases or complex pages. As the content grows, the application can become sluggish, especially on mobile devices.

I use Notion everywhere
I highly recommend Notion and do recommend Notion to colleagues. It's one software I see people adopt the easiest on a recommendation. I use it for daily for organizing my work load, client notes where appropriate, and action points. I use it for managing responsibilities at home too.
Pros
Notion makes organizing and note taking far easier than other current options. Being able to organize pages into databases and tables means I can manage my work load as a type of list with all the notes on each piece of work contained in a page tied to that list. The elements such as code blocks also make adding reference notes so much easier to come back to and use in future. It keeps me very organized. As a non-enterprise user the options are still endless and provides a good case to bring others on board as a collaborative tool - especially when it comes to sharing process documentation.
Cons
Unless it's changed, there were some promising options of integrating with mail calendars but it didn't look like this was suitable for work mail / Office 365.

Great tool but takes time to learn/customize
I like Notion. I think there's a lot of potential there. I have slowed down my use of it as it's not quite there for my needs but as they continue building out the ecosystem, I may come back to using it as my primary workspace for managing my creative work.
Pros
I work in a creative field and I like being able to keep all of my writing and project notes in one area. I like the ability to write in markdown so I can keep headings, text, lists and everything else in the document and quickly write it without having to go search through menus for the correct selection. I've used a little bit of the project management functionality as well and that can be convenient to stay within the same platform rather than switching back and forth.
Cons
The project management tools are ok but not as straightforward as I would like. Other PM tools like Monday.com, Asana or Clickup have more robust project management capabilities and I've found myself drifting back to them rather than spend the time to learn how to build out Notion to fit what I want it to do.
I get the philosophy of Notion is that you can build it to do whatever you need it to do but I don't really have time for that. Nor do I have the desire to learn how to build those systems within Notion. I just need something that works so I can get my work done more efficiently. It's sometimes easier to go find a pre-built tool than figure out how to modify one in Notion.

I'm also a fan of it's high levels of customization and collaboration that makes it ideal for team projects, monitoring roadmaps, and organizing information effectively.
