Effective Hiring Instrument with Potential for Customization Enhancements
I've had a good overall experience with ApplicantStack. The technology has greatly expedited the hiring process by streamlining the administration of job ads, tracking of applications, and communication between hiring teams and candidates. Time has been saved and manual labor has decreased because to its user-friendly interface and automation features. Still, there are certain things that might be done better, including making the reporting tools more user-friendly and offering more customization possibilities. ApplicantStack has shown to be a useful tool in the hiring process, leading to more effective and coordinated recruiting, despite these little limitations.
Pros
The user-friendly layout of ApplicantStack, which facilitates a quicker and more effective hiring process, is one of my favorite features. Time is saved greatly by having the option to automate repetitive processes and modify workflows. Furthermore, the integrated communication tools facilitate communication between recruiting teams and candidates, increasing teamwork. Robust reporting options enable comprehensive insights into the hiring process, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Cons
The fact that some of the pre-built templates have few modification choices makes it difficult to completely customize the system to meet unique demands, which is one feature of ApplicantStack that I liked least. Furthermore, even though the reporting tool is powerful, there is occasionally a learning curve associated with it, making it difficult to fully employ. It could also be more seamless for certain users to integrate with other HR systems, as data synchronization between platforms occasionally necessitates extra effort.

Elizabeth Hakim's 12/12/2024 ApplicantStack Review
In general, ApplicantStack is fairly user friendly and intuitive. Fore the most part, we've been pleased with the amount of programming for the price.
Pros
I really appreciate the program's cost effectiveness and how useful ApplicantStack is for small to mid-sized companies
Cons
I didn't like the fact that ApplicantStack doesn't have a reference check program or a vendor partner (like Harver). It would also be nice if client support contact information was listed on the main screen after login. Finally, I wish we could reset applicants' passwords to the system ourselves.

HR Coordinator
Overall, it is user friendly and self explanatory.
Pros
Easy to send onboarding and view applicants.
Cons
The process to move the applicant from Interview to hire for onboarding. Also, if i have to manually put someone in to issue onboarding. The way onboarding is viewed on the applicants end with medical questionnaire confuses them often. So does the direct deposit form. Sometimes the applicants do not roll over to the Wellsky and there is no clear reason why.

Meets all our needs
It has been a life saver. So easy to post jobs to public job boards and edit and make changes.
Pros
It is easy to use. Very adaptable to different situations. We love the program because even when people are not good with electronic applications, we can provide a paper one and upload it and still use the ATS system. It is also VERY cost effective!
Cons
I can't really think of anything at the moment. It seems to do everything we need it to do.

Absolutely amazing and a must have for any recruiter!
Having ApplicantStack has made recruiting so much easier and more productive. Quality and quantity, then the follow up that the automated system does? Very amazing. Thank you so much!
Pros
Applicant stack keeps our employment ads active and reposted on multiple job boards. The follow up email and texting features with our designated "Myla" has worked wonders for our applicant flow.
Cons
Duplicate applicant entries in our AxisCare system. But I will gladly take that over no applicants at all!

Review From Visiting Angels of HURST TEXAS for Applicant Stack
We are extremely pleased with our switch from Indeed TO Applicant Stack. It helps the process go very smoothly and extremely detailed for other office staff reference, as needed.
Pros
Easy access and always receives immediate feedback or responses when we have questions regarding the application. We love how you can change the status for the applicant, so we are all aware of where they are during the hiring/deactivation process.
Cons
How it says the next step in the process, on the home page, instead of the process they are currently in.

A MUST HAVE SOFTWARE PROGRAM FOR ANY RECRUITER, & OR HR DEPARTMENT TO STREAMLINE THIER...
I am so incredibly pleased with the capabilities of ApplicantStack. This software has saved myself and team hours weekly in our communication with one another, streamlined candidates especially those who repeatedly apply. Makes a huge difference in efficiency and communication within the team with the transparent notes section, so we can track the entire process with each candidate. As well as see if we previously interviewed someone for another position so we make the best use of our team's time. It also makes the process so much smoother for the candidate, we have all the information at our fingertips easily when they call back on a status for a position, or to schedule an interview after we left a voicemail. It makes us look so put together and polished. The automation on the rejection letters also shows the professionalism and streamlines the process so much saving us so much time while giving the candidates the clarity they seek.
Pros
What I love about ApplicantStack is it enables me to easily track the status of new, pending, and old applications/resumes. It streamlines the entire communication process with our team by the notes section and assigning stages. And the automation of rejection emails saves us thousands of hours along with increasing awareness with our applicants, as just because they weren't the right fit for one position they very well may be for others. It has made the hiring process, interviewing, and pre-screening so efficient that even the candidates are impressed when they call back to schedule an interview after we left a voicemail, and within seconds we have all of their information and resume at our tips. It makes us look like the professionals we are.
Cons
The only constructive criticism I have is so minor, if there was a way to select and possibly there is a large group of people to send all rejection letters out for the same time for the same position without having to do so manually, but this feature may already be in place I just don't know about it.
Response from Swipeclock
Thanks again for your valuable feedback—we’re excited to continue supporting your team’s efficiency!

ApplicantStack - Wonderful Expereince
I found ApplicantStack very easy to use and navigate. They had many integrated tools that could be added as well, which made the Recruiting and Onboarding process much easier to communicate with the candidate. This ensure thorough communication of the onboarding expectations and process.
Pros
The customizable URL's you can create for positions to send to Internal Recruiters and Recruiting partners was an extremely useful feature. It allowed us to easily track and associate candidates with sources.
Also did enjoy the customizable reporting.
Cons
The fact that the only way to associate replicated candidates who were applying or submitted was via email address. Would be good if there were other filters we could set to see for candidate replication, upon applying or submission.
Would like if they had some sort of graphical report (and customizable). The reports are able to be exported and then can be used to create a graphical report, but would be nice if there was a way for ApplicantStack to have a Tool integrated for this.

Look no further than ApplicantStack!!!
I've had the pleasure of using ApplicantStack across multiple employers, and it has consistently proven to be an invaluable tool in streamlining our recruitment process.
The platform's integration with job boards like Indeed, Google Jobs, and Glassdoor is seamless, allowing me to manage both internal and external job postings with just a few clicks which has significantly reduced the time I spend on administrative tasks.
The use of templates in ApplicantStack ensures that candidates receive consistent communication and are kept informed about the status of their applications PLUS it saves me the time of writing the same communications over and over. This feature has garnered positive feedback from many candidates, who appreciate the transparency and efficiency of the process and said this has stood out amongst other employers they've applied to.
One of the best features for me is the ability to use screening questions WITH scoring to quickly sort through applications and identify the most qualified candidates with highest scores. This helps me present top candidates to hiring managers quickly and then I continue sorting through the rest. I do personally review all applications so we do not fall into any sticky AI discrimination compliance issues but this allows me to target most qualified candidates first.
The platform is also very user-friendly, both for HR professionals and candidates. While we currently don't allow managers direct access to the system due to our size, I can see how this feature would be incredibly useful for larger organizations, further streamlining the hiring process. Plus there are features we don't even use like interview forms, tasks, etc. (which would really come into play if there were more users or spread out geographical locations vs they can just come to my office or vice versa).
Additionally, the ability to text candidates directly through the platform—without using my personal phone—has been a game-changer for maintaining work-life balance and ensuring all communication is recorded in the application history.
Overall, ApplicantStack has been a fantastic tool, with excellent customer support whenever needed. If I HAD to come up with a negative (and it's really not), it is that the platform is highly customizable, so the initial setup and configuration can require some trial and error and extra time setting up templates, workflows, etc. However, this is a small price to pay for the ability to tailor the system to fit our exact needs. I highly recommend ApplicantStack for its robust features, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness.
Pros
Seamless Integration: Connects effortlessly with job boards like Indeed, Google Jobs, and Glassdoor.
Time-Saving: Streamlines job posting and candidate management, saving significant time.
Consistent Communication: Templates ensure all candidates receive timely updates.
Effective Candidate Screening: Screening questions and scoring help quickly identify top candidates.
User-Friendly: Easy to navigate for both HR professionals and candidates.
Text Communication: Allows for professional communication with candidates without using personal devices.
Great Customer Support: Responsive and helpful tech support.
Cons
Setup Complexity: Customization options can make initial setup time-consuming.
Potential Learning Curve: Trial and error may be needed to configure the system to meet specific needs.

I would work there if I could
I think the product is amazing. The features rival those of the more popular systems. I honestly would work there if I could. I have implemented the ATS solution in several places. As an HR leader, you just can beat it!
Pros
The ability to add my own forms and pull in repetitive data like name, address, etc. The onboarding process is seamless.
Cons
It is not a full HRM solution. I wish it would intergrade with, Oracle Cloud, Peoplesoft, Workday, Success Factors, ADP Workforce Now, Namely, etc..

A great applicant tracker with added benefits.
We love that we can place an ad and it post to other boards with a few clicks.
Pros
Keeps an employee's info and documents in one place.
Cons
With multiple profiles you can't see what the other profile is doing so we end up just using one sign-in. It's useless to me to have two sections of hiring and onboarding.

Okay but could use some tweaks
Pros
It was pretty easy to move applicants from one part of the application process to the next.
Cons
You couldn't just mark someone as hired unless they did the new hire portion through it as well. We had an entirely different process for new hire paperwork and it just made it a huge mess after awhile. Also didn't like that there wasn't an option to text/email directly from the system, it would make it much easier to keep track of those if there were an all in one sort of thing.

10 Years with ApplicantStack
I have used ApplicantStack for over 10 years. My current company and past company. When there is a glitch the help center tells me there is no issue. It can take weeks for it to be corrected. I have not found a better ATS, but I look forward to future upgrades to make it better.

Applicant Stack needs Customer Service Training
Not good overall. They needlessly lost a customer simply by ignoring me. Both in person and customer service ticket.
Pros
The reps spent time walking me through the system and that's where it ended.
