You can attach award and mod docs to the contracts, bank statements to reconciliations, checks and invoices to AP Vouchers and AP Payments. It's a great way for everyone to have access to the things they need. > > **Cons**: Some of the updates they add change the information for my custom reports and you need to make adjustments to get the same information after the update is live. The software has great capabilities and customization. It operates faster than other packages I've used. A powerful and comprehensive database. > > **Cons**: I find this software to be somewhat "daunting" for new users. Particularly for staff that have never used an ERP system before. It requires considerable training and customized settings before it can be utilized. - On start-up many of the screens are "blank". It requires the user to input data to get started. - No "standard" dashboards. Everything must be customized and set-up from scratch. - Training videos are great, but it requires new users to setup additional passwords to secondary web sites. A bit of a deterrence for staff that already have too many passwords. Should be a direct link. - Multiple places to access information which can be helpful for regular users, but new users get confused where to find information. - Some inconsistency in how data is entered (top, bottom middle of screen/menu). - Needs a few more "out-of-the-box" solutions, dashboards and reports to help new users. > > I've used 4 different ERP systems in my 35 year career. Unanet is the most comprehensive with great customization. Good value based on lower cost and more features than other products. All the products have pros and cons. My biggest concern on Unanet is the time for new users to gain comfort using the software.
