I loved the customer support and knowledge sharing offered by the professionals. We spent a lot of time to go through the platform in detail, understand and compare all the different options and select the one that worked the best for us. I felt very supported during the process and found it easy to set up. It has a great UX and UI, very pleasant to use.

Generic support inbox vs. specific customer success contact who gets to know you although I believe this is now being changed.

I love Vestd for having one source of truth where we can now digitally store all of our documents in one place. The integration with Companies House was a huge selling feature for us as this is a major cost saver as a company and allows you more control over your own filings and ensuring completion.

There are some aspects of the upload that are still very manual and I think leave room for improvement. However, the team is really supportive in making sure that you get you onboarded and get everything done correctly.

Really easy to use with great functionality. Also there is a really helpful and responsive team to answer and resolve any questions / problems.

It is quite expensive as a product, but i rationalise that by the support team that sits around the software itself

I recently had some complicated unapproved share options to sort for a number of our American employees. Being new to the platform, I wasn't sure how things worked but he was super helpful in guiding me through the whole process.

It can be quite confusing if you haven't used it much before, but ben made it very easy for me to understand the platform

The onboarding with fantastic customer service - caring, attentive, supportive, understanding, going at my pace, and educating all the way.
The platform; whilst initially daunting became easy to use through the great onboarding/screen-sharing support. It can do so much and save so much time, I am looking forward to using it more & more.

Help/Support guides are good but would probably prefer video walkthroughsWhen there is some complexities around particular existing/historic Schemes the scheme builder doesn't always flow and make a tonne of sense - would be good to have an import historic scheme option.

The product itself is so easy to use and you are talked through the way to use (as many times as you need) and you receive incredibly helpful emails with updates/instructions.

in particular was great in helping us understand how to use Vestd and the onboarding process was great. The only company we saw with a direct integration to Companies House. Has definitely saved us hours of work. Great work team.

Cons

Some of the UX could be improved and there are other useful features they can add (such as more extensive cap table modelling). Undoubtedly this is to come.

Pros

I loved the ease of which I can issue and distribute shares which is blindingly fast. Furthermore, the support I get on Vestd is a world class and currently, I have had no issues unresolved and the resolution typically happens within hours.

It would be great if there was a feature to automatically email the shareholders with their share certificates.

It's much more than just a platform to issue share option schemes: a huge amount of our company's secretarial & administrative work as well as share modelling can be achieved with Vestd too and all under the same subscription

Cons

I think the product has a hard job to make complex products, especially because of regulatory requirements, accessible. Where friction is felt is often due to government bureaucracy rather than a limitation of the software itself.

Amount of transactions a start up can do in a year
Easy to see the value of shares by shareholder and visualise growth
