Our circle use it for creating polls related to public opinion, research and studies.

Cons

There should be an indian version of it, as Indians have different style to take part in such online polling and surveys they take it as scam.

Pros

User friendly interface. Easy and fast to create a quiz or a survey, and easy to start/manage in the classroom. Allows time to stop and discuss the issues with the class, as the responses are anonymous (even if the emails are collected, they are not shown on the screen, so , it makes it possible to discuss the answers as a classroom peer-review but anonymous activity, which is excellent for shy students).
Secondly, you can create a quick AI generated quiz in a short break, or integrate an AI generated quiz into your quiz.
Several features you can combine or select from depending on the purpose: word cloud, multiple choice, open space/text.
Many participants are allowed simultaneously.

Cons

AI quiz is predictable. The correct answer is always fist. Often it is also the longest, therefore, it is very easy to guess it. Students understand the 1st one is correct after the 2nd/3rd question. Also, AI quiz is limited to 5 questions.

Honestly, there’s nothing we’ve disliked about Vevox. The platform and support team have always exceeded our expectations.

It's simplicity of use, that fact that I can whip up a quiz in no time. The changes to the QR code so I don't have to mess around with 9/10 figure meeting IDs is great. And the fact it all works so seemlessly.

Cons

The new sounds that accompany the running of the polling question - that's not to say I don't like them, but in the last few seconds it could do with having someting 'crescendo'y. I know, not the biggest issue, but it would be helpful particularly with the more simple 'ticking clock' options.

We had a very large group of people participating in a virtual training seminar and the audio and video was absolutely perfect. Using similar but different apps in the past, I did not have as good of an experience.

I have not come across any issues in using Vevox. The links worked, the meetings were easy to join, many people used different devices and had no issues connecting.

Reasons for Switching to Vevox

Pros

First of all, Vevox is really user friendly. You can be a first timer like me, but still make a project that everyone will be amazed with. Second, the high level customer service will make your experience even easier and more enjoyable than it could be! Third, even the free plan allows you to create a presentable project in which up to 150 persons could participate, which, let me admit, allows greater opportunities than any of its competitors. But I would still recommend upscaling your plan to have greater creative freedom!

Our team, client and event attendee really like the fact that Vevox is intuitive and easy to use with enough of a variety for question types. For us, event organisers, it also provides in depth result analytics which helps us shape our questions for future webinars. We like that it's not app dependent and can be accessed via QR scan, link or by typing in a number. The platform integrations are crucial and Vevox integrates with both MS Teams and Webex where most of our clients host meetings

Cons

There aren't any cons as such, what we would love to be improved is the polls pop ups to be the same as the MS Teams ones, ie in the middle of the screen, but appreciate that this might be limited by MS Teams technology. Another thing that we would like to see is for the questions to be integrated into PPT, so speakers could interact with those live. I would like to point out that we've never had any technical issues with Vevox which can be rare with any technology!

I like vevox polling feature the most. And when do polling or voting, the admin can't know the identity which keeps user privacy. That's my favorite part of the app.

- My number 1 favourite feature is the Vevox word clouds - they are dynamic and interactive. As participants submit their responses, the cloud updates in real time.

I was nervous of getting started with using the platform. I was afraid that I would break it. However I shouldn't have worried as once I began it was so easy to understand the features and functionalities.

We are super satisfied - there's nothing we "like least". A couple of nits to pick: I think there used to be a drag-and-drop function for managing questions? That seems to be gone. Also, we try to consolidate multiple similar questions from our participants - but edits in the review stage of curation seem to be undone when you go to publish.

It's an intuitive system that requires little support. The dashboard is also ver clean and simple to use. We generally point all staff towards to just using this as the polling platform.

It would be good if it had a few more competitive options when it comes to the polling. It had a leaderboard feature but would benefit from a few more ways to assign points ie.. fastest finger first

I love the integration with PowerPoint and the fact that I can get nearly instantaneous reporting results. It is a great tool for feedback and interactivity within delivery as it allows more interaction between the audience and those delivering the content.

Cons

The fact that one cannot run multiple sessions in parallel, also the fact that in order to get the data (graphs and text-based comments) from the dashboard you have to run the session. There are issues with PowerPoint and you have to be an organiser on Teams to be able to integrate the application within the meeting invite.

We bought one account, with two emails. We needed to have two, separate sessions, simultaniously. Our trainers travel and sometimes we need to use vevox from two different locations and for two different groups..but we need all the results in the same account. This is not something you provide, but we got the plan, after advising with a member of your support staff. It was a misunterstanding.

I find it very easy to use within the events that we do. The moderation feature and sharable links are very helpful to stop the presenter being bombarded with lots of questions at once. Being able to just send a few questions at a time has proved very useful.
