AlohaABA is the way to go!

Our overall experience has been great with Aloha. We are happy we made the switch to this platform and look forward to seeing what more they are doing!

Pros

Aloha is very thorough and offers a lot of features. The team offers video support to help with billing and scheduling questions, which is very beneficial when starting to use any technology that is unfamiliar to the user. We love that you can see both client and staff schedules while overlapping the view if needed. This is great for planning out schedules and even scheduling supervision. Also, the claims process has run smoothly and we can see everything in one place!

Cons

The view for scheduling isn't as user-friendly and you cannot see a monthly view for the schedule. However, Aloha has been quick to respond to this and work with their development team to make this view more user friendly. No software is going to be perfect and all you can ask for is that you have a team like Aloha that is willing to take user feedback and apply it.

User friendly, easy deployment

Excellent customer service and user friendly.

Pros

The software is very user friendly. Each clinical staff takes about 30-45 minute to learn the appointment and scheduling features during orientation training. Our biller took two initial training sessions with Aloha staff to run the basic billing process. Customer service has been the best in town, everyone is responsive and helpful, including those in the management positions and higher ups.

Cons

I would love to see Aloha to offer most customizable reporting features for executives to run analysis of the business.

Software is good the user interface could be better

The customer support was amazing, especially from [sensitive content hidden], 10/10.

Pros

Billing and reports are very well done.

Cons

The user interface with scheduling could be better. The month view isnt useable. All the cons have been submitted as tickets by myself and [sensitive content hidden].

Would recommend

Overall I have had a great experience and Meg was amazing!

Pros

Easy to use and navigate. Like how simple it is to add in authorizations and sessions.

Cons

Be able to make a session for a client without assigning a technician. Maybe have an area for 'open shifts' or 'floating sessions'. This way if a technician is out we can simply remove them while looking for coverage.
Would love an app to get onto Aloha, like a shortcut.

Aloha Review

Pros

All of the features are well thought about and very specific to the needs of my field. The customer service is top-notch and uncomparable to other similar organizations. I appreciate the very prompt and individualized support.

Cons

I really enjoy and appreciate that Aloha integrates with other data collection platforms but it would be great if they had their own and everything was just in one platform. It would be great if the system was a little faster. It can be slow to save information.

I also appreciate the personal attention I received and the "feel" of a small business where I know who to contact and did not have to be sent to a switchboard or call center when I need help.

Aloha ABA

We left another ABA software that we had been using for over ten years. Best decision we ever made. The Aloha team is always there to work with us on getting the most out of their product. They work along side with my staff helping us work smarter not harder, just as if they were part of our company. Their customer service is outstanding!

Pros

Aloha is very user friendly, training staff to use the new software was an easy process. The Aloha staff was there supporting during the entire process and continue to be available and work with us on getting the most out of their product.

Cons

Aloha continues to update their product and add new features hard to say there is anything I like least about the software as they are always improving.

Feeling Empowered in a System that CAN Support an ABA Organization

100% positive from the demo, onboarding to day to day use. I was able to schedule a follow up call to get additional help after I began to heavily use the system with managing receivables/co-payments. Staff love it! I feel empowered running my business with the ability to see snapshots of billables from my dashboards as well as adding a level of accountability with ensuring that my BCBAs managing their overall billables.

Pros

I loved the ease of set up. My onboarding did not take that long. My onboarding specialist made time for me and did not rush me when I had questions.

Cons

I don't have any Cons directly related to use of the system. I do think some of the help documentation may be worth of a revisit for updates, but overall -- great product.

Top Notch Software and Top Notch Staff!

I have nothing at all negative to say; all of our exchanges and the software itself has been nothing but stellar to this point.

Pros

We have loved all of the support we have been given throughout our implementation process ([sensitive content hidden] have helped us, specifically). Throughout the process, both have answered our questions and addressed our concerns very professionally, quickly, and fully. Much of our anxiety regarding transitioning from another platform to AlohaABA has been thoroughly alleviated.

Cons

Getting acclimated to some varying features has been my least favorite part of our migration process, but this is to be expected and is not a con at all; we simply need to get used to a better product--there are worse fates!

Great Program for ABA

Amazing! The customer support team were so helpful. Meetings were productive and included all members needed to get the job done. Scheduled and assisted with inviting all members of team. Provided feedback notes after zoom sessions to review what was trained.

Pros

Integrates with HiRasmus for data collection and therapy service notes. Can pull billing and payroll reports quickly and efficiently.

Having to adjust appointments for concurrent billing

Exceptional Support and Unmatched User Experience with AlohaABA

My experience with AlohaABA has been nothing short of phenomenal! The customer support truly sets it apart from all other billing platforms I've used, including WebABA, CentralReach, Kareo, Medisoft, and ClinicSource. None of them come close to the level of respect, attentiveness, and dedication that the AlohaABA team provides. The value of their support alone makes a huge difference in the overall experience, elevating the software far beyond its competitors.

Pros

The outstanding customer support! The people behind the product truly make all the difference. The fact that the team who built the product is still actively involved and deeply understands customer needs is impressive. Their responsiveness is exceptional—I've never had to wait more than a couple of hours for a reply from their support team. It shows their commitment to both the product and their customers.

Cons

While there have been a few minor glitches and occasional unexplained errors, the exceptional customer support more than makes up for it. The team is incredibly responsive, quickly addressing any issues and even jumping on a call to fully understand the impact on your organization. Their dedication to resolving problems is truly unmatched.

WebABA was horrible. I switched from CentralReach to WebABA. CentralReach was good for billing yet terrible for data collection and extremely expensive. WebABA cost our organization money because of its “glitches” and their customer service was rude, passive aggressive, had high turn over, and overall the worst customer service I’ve ever experience.

Excellent Easy to Use Software

Overall, AlohaABA has been excellent to work with.

Pros

Our company, Acuity Behavior Solutions ([sensitive content hidden]), provides individualized ABA Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with autism, and other developmental disabilities. AlohaABA has been amazing to work with for scheduling sessions, entering authorizations, tracking appointments, payroll, and sending billing out to insurance companies electronically. The system is easy to use, looks clean and professional, has lots of great reports, billing is easy to push out, and the staff there is responsive and helpful. Their email support team responds quickly, and every staff member I have interacted with has been wonderful. The billing services are run by a very knowledgeable team who has made my life so much easier. Their implementation startup team is readily available for questions. I have personally had a great experience and this is my opinion as the owner of a growing quality focused ABA agency. Overall, a great experience!

Good product for small business

Overall, we love our billing support specialist - [sensitive content hidden] is knowledgable, punctual and has gone above and beyond to get our questions answered.

Pros

The customer service department at Aloha is amazing. We've had issues with time zones, and suggestions for appointment features and we are always getting very speedy responses. We've had the customer support team escalate things to web developers and they usually move quickly.

Cons

We hear that we're the first ones to ask about features quite often. Which is nice to know they are listening, but I would love for these features to already be in place.

AlohaABA is terrific!

Fantastic! I opened up my own business and am operating well solo :) All thanks to AlohaABA!

Pros

It is easy to use, and has a convenient dashboard for a holistic view of your practice, with important reminders, appointments not yet billed and snapshots of performance/activity. Above all though, is the customer service experience I have received- it is unparalleled from beginning to end. The training provided by [sensitive content hidden] is detailed and thorough, and she meticulously answers the questions asked. I also love that I can reach out anytime and for the first several months met with her weekly. I gained so much and it took the anxiety of managing the back-end billing, myself, to a much more manageable level.[sensitive content hidden] is so professional and supportive- she teaches you to accomplish those items on your own. The AlohaABA product is well worth its fee. Thank you [sensitive content hidden] for your perspective on what high-quality customer service yields- loyalty, support and a product that shines.

Cons

The utilization feature is a bit finicky i.e it would be good if it showed you remaining units in an easier way.The location drop down doesn't always populate the addresses for the appt you added, so sometimes, I have to manually enter these, even though I just did on the clinical appt.

AlohaABA is the best choice for ABA practice management!

I recommend Aloha to everyone. I can't say enough how helpful they were during our transition. They are super responsive to requests for help or errors that may occur. I can see them striving to improve the product to make it even better.

Pros

Practice management is critical in multiple ways to the success of an ABA agency. As a small business owner, we've used 2 other companies long term and trialed a few others. None compared to Aloha. The transition to a new system is a HUGE feat and Aloha walked me through it the entire way. The success of our transition would not have been possible without the support.

Cons

I'm not super techy so some things took me a bit to catch onto but with Aloha assisting me all along the way it was only a small issue.

Wonderful Experience

I absolutely love the platform. It is super user-friendly. The customer service is exceptional. We have not had one negative experience since switching over to Aloha. We were previously using a platform that constantly had glitches. We have not had this problem with Aloha. I highly recommend this platform to anyone who is looking for a practice management system.

Industry Standard for Customer Support

Pros

The ALOHA team has the most-helpful, most friendly, and excellent customer support. I simply could not operate my small business at our current scale without the help of the ALOHA team. I am so proud I selected ALOHA as our performance management system.

Cons

The ALOHA team is working to update their scheduling platform. I look forward to the future integration with an AI scheduling company or their own updated internal system.

The customer service is out of this world.

Pros

If you are familiar with Google, you will be able to navigate this software fairly easily. Great design and team behind it!

Cons

There's nothing that is overly frustrating as of yet, but we will keep everyone posted! All good so far.

Cons

I wish there was a better on boarding training process. Like a 30-60 minute course on the basics.

Great Support

Overall, it has been helpful for my organization. Speaking as a practitioner first and a business person second, it is overwhelming trying to learn about submitting claims and setting up all the things needed to get the ball rolling. However, since I have someone to whom I can ask questions, it makes the process much easier.

Pros

Hands down it has been the live support. Thank you [sensitive content hidden]!

Cons

Some of the features of the interface are not 100% intuitive

Outstanding Practice Management Platform and Customer Service

The implementation process has been outstanding because I have a standing appointment with one customer success lead who shows me exactly how to do what I need to do, just when I need to do it, at each stage of my company's development. The customer success lead is very responsive and written and spoken communication are excellent.

Pros

The product is visually appealing, super user friendly, and doesn't complicate processes with redundancies like many of their competitors' platforms do.

Cons

I wish it had (a) tools for accepting online payments, (b) tools for culture building such as pulse checks, employee or customer surveys, customer relationship management tools, and employee relationship management.
