Paycom is great!

Overall the experience has been great! I have had help every step of the way. Anytime I have a question someone is always available to help.

Pros

It is easy to use and has a lot of great features.

Cons

I cant really complain. The initial set up and implementation is long and requires me to be apart of a lot of Zoom calls but I have had assistance from Paycom through every step so this made up for the time it takes.

The best HR system I've ever worked with

My overall experience with Paycom has been nothing but positive. It just works...all the time. And when I need assistance, it's just a phone call or email away.

Pros

Paycom's customer support is so good. They actually reach out to me more than I have to reach out to them. When I do need help, I call the support team and get immediate assistance. They are also constantly improving their software, without breaking things that work in the process. I couldn't be happier with my Paycom experience.

Cons

The cost is a bit higher than others, but it's worth it for the consistency, customer support and regular development of new features.

A basic easy to use solution

My experience was fine. It wasn't great, it also wasn't bad. It functioned fine for me as a user and I didn't experience any outages or issues often.

Pros

Paycom was fine for my basic needs for time and attendance. It was easy to use and understand.

Cons

Integrating other systems into Paycom wasn't easy and proved to be difficult for employees to use. We like to be able to incorporate as much HR functionality into one system for ease of use and simplicity, but we encountered a lot of road blocks with Paycom. From my standpoint it was okay to use, but our company quickly transitioned away from Paycom due to the complexity on the backend.

Paycom is worth working with

It has really improved since 2023. We are grateful that they are now helping us manager our 1099 vendors.

Pros

After 2023, they have improved Customer Service and the system interface is very intuitive.

Cons

Nothing at this time. They have improved their customer service since 2023 and that really has made it easy to work with them.

Paycom Feedback

Positive experience for employees using the App. The set-up and admin processes are clunky.

Human Resources

Overall experience with multiple Paycom Specialist and Client Relations Rep has not been good. They do not seem to be knowledgeable with system capability and generally need to "go back to team" to find solutions.

Pros

End user feature of paycheck preview. Ease of use for employees.

Cons

From Admin standpoint - very manual. No flexibility with position seats. Frequent glitches.

Very happy with Paycom

payroll has been much easier to do over the past 7 years

PayCom Review

Used several other payment platforms before, but Paycom is certainly the easiest and most efficient.

Pros

Ease of use - very transparent about payments, documentation. EXTREMELY straight forward process and great interface

Cons

No issues thus far with paycom. Easy to access online as well as mobile version of application

I LOVE Paycom

I LOVE Paycom. I've been with Paycom since 2016 and have converted two different companies/employers. I always tell people that no software is perfect, but Paycom is as close as it gets for me. It's a great, all-inclusive platform that is easy to use and highly customizable!

Pros

It's an all-in-one system that is user friendly!

Cons

Some customer experience has been lost as the company has grown. It makes absolutely makes sense from a streamlining, efficiency and liability standpoint, but the personal touch/assistance also decreases with these changes.

Paycom for the Win

Overall, our experience has been wonderful. Our dedicated account specialist is knowledgeable and so quick to help. When she's not available, they monitor her emails, so we never get left out in the cold. If she's unavailable by phone, one of her other teammates answers, and they've all been wonderful.

Pros

Paycom puts all of our HR needs in one place. It's a great tool to complete all our projects and functions in the HR department.

Cons

There are often changes that happen in the system that upset/change/revert our already fixed data to something it was before or something completely different than the team doesn't seem to know how/why it happens.

Paycom is the best!

Pros

Paycom is EXTREMELY user friendly and has taken so much tedious work off my plate as an HR Manager! Before Paycom, I have 7 different systems that I would bounce between which housed various types of employee data, and to be able to have all of that, and MORE, in one system has been amazing! In addition, the employee visibility / ownership has been a huge positive shift and they are happier to have the ability to do so many things at their fingertips. I would have to say my favorite Paycom feature is "Approve My Check". This has eliminated ALL human error with payroll!

Cons

There is nothing so far that I do not like, but I will say the hardest feature to learn and get used to is reporting. It is very extensive and customizable, which is great and what every company needs, but getting to what you need takes a great deal of time in the beginning. Once you figure it out, its smooth sailing from there.

Good software but still needs improved.

I would still choose Paycom over the competitors, but do wish that customer support was stronger.

Pros

Implementation was done so well, our Paycom team took the time to understand our every need.

Cons

After implementation the customer support was lacking. Our client support specialist was not responsive, and we were given a new specialist almost every month.

Love Paycom!

That we can't hide employees that are no longer employed with us.

Amazing HR Software

Fantastic! I love being able to review my timecard for each shift. I can see how much PTO I have, do assigned trainings for my company and even see my tax info/W2s super easily without having to wait for the mail to come

Super easy to navigate. I love being able to manage my timecard, HR info and trainings all in once place.

Nothing. I love how much there is that can be done with Paycom.

Big Fan for nearly 10 years

When we started, Paycom was solely used for Payroll. As [sensitive content hidden], I implemented the ATS and it changed the way our business operations worked in the hiring sphere.

Pros

Timekeeping that aligns with California Meal Premium regulations.

Cons

Candidate tracking and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates is wonky.
Paycom messages to employees would be soooo much better received if rather than coming from a "paycom" address, it could be tailored to come from a custom address from our company.

Pros

I have recommended Paycom to several people. I like the specialists that I have worked with. I like that it is for the most part easy to use.

Cons

That it is not always easy to use. Especially when the programs are changed to
make it easier sometimes it's more time consuming

Paycom delivers return on investment!

Paycom was like coming to trusted teammates who walk you through all the options you may want or need for you business and it's anticipated growth. I know I'll never have to switch again!

Pros

I really enjoyed working with the Paycom team. I can tell they want my business to succeed genuinely, and they work hard to support our needs and growth.

I really don't have any cons honestly. I have thought hard and can't think of any!

Overall my experience has been good. I think the system has alot to offer that most probably aren't utilizing. My experience has improved greatly with the help from [sensitive content hidden] my Executive Emerging Markets Client Rep.

Cons

I have had a rep in the past that was not helpful. That can create some frustration.

Paycom is very user-friendly

My overall experience with Paycom has been great. Paycom has several great functions that make HR and the supervisors' job a lot easier. Paycom is great for documentation, easily making things visible to employees, and personalizing the system to better fit our business needs.

Pros

I like that the employee is very user-friendly. The app makes it very easy for the employee to access their timecard, request time-off, view documents, complete checklists, etc. From the HR side, after we explain how to access something via the app, the employee rarely reaches out about the same question again, as it's easy to locate everything.

Cons

I do not have any cons about Paycom. I think the system is great and very user-friendly.

Handy Dandy Payroll App

I find Paycom to be a generally excellent and efficient app that makes payroll and its associated functions easily accessed, updated, and implemented, with a minimum of fuss. It's highly functional and works well, with a minimum of glitches or other issues. I don't have complaints so much as 'I'd like to see's; given how rare it is for me to not have a complaint about something, that's high praise. I've used other payroll apps in the past, and thoroughly recommend Paycom for any size business.

Pros

I really like the ease of use I get in the app, as that is how I most often access Paycom. The layout is clear, options are logical, and it's easily understood at each level what I'm looking at and what I'm doing. The app is high-powered with functionality, unlike many apps that are just light versions of their websites. I actually prefer the app. The features are robust, allowing for much more than just requesting time off. Access to tax documents, time cards, adjusting payroll, and yes, time off requests, are all easy to navigate to and access. Having online learning resources and additional company info built in and accessible from the app is also a highlight.

Cons

One of my earlier complaints about Paycom- the awkwardness of entering PTO requests- was actually fixed in one of their recent updates. Although navigating to the various functions is easy enough, a 'Favorites' option would be most appreciated. Not every user needs to use every function equally, after all. While access to the options is easy enough, the layout and visuals of the app itself are somewhat basic, and could do with a fresh coat of paint, as it were. Some minor quibbles, like certain characters not allowable in PTO requests, are just that, minor.

It's worth buying

Paycom is easy to use. It has a number of time keeping functions. It's secure and I've never had any issues with it at all.

Pros

It's convenient, I can clock in at work or on my phone at home. I use it to request vacation days,sick days, or unpaid time off. I use it to view my check stubs and W2's during tax time.

Cons

None I have no cons I am a fan of Paycom.

HR Manager

Excellent. Although there are concerns with getting immediate assistance at times I always get my issues resolved.

Pros

Simplicity of doing payroll. It almost does the payroll for you. Just need to verify info.

Cons

Availability of service team sometimes. I have called and no one from my team is available to help me.
