-Label time spent by both the client AND the project
-Have a running clock or enter time retroactively
-Free plan for freelancers
-Reporting feature perfect for billing (I include a detail report filtered by client & time period with monthly invoices).

An unexpected benefit is that by using Clockify, I am getting better at estimating future tasks & projects. I can review how long something took me the last time I did it and use data to base my project estimate on. Clockify helps me from over/under estimating when bidding a project.

-Can forget to turn it off (operator error! Clockify will notify you if it's running for an unusual amount of time)

imports, for example I cannot conect data from one workspace to another
and also if I have paid feature to the invoices I want to have that also on other workspaces , so I don't have to go to one workspace export sheet then go to my workspace then imported that sheet in order to create invoice,

Issue when selecting a client I don't want to have select client when I create pdf invoice I just need to select categorie and import last week into pdf

To much complexity keep it simple please!

Colour coded projects, ability to add as many different projects as you need to, adding new clients, checking out your reports and analyzing how you spent your time while working easily.

I can't retroactively edit my hourly rate which makes the calculator redundant in most cases as I have to calculate my price once again from scratch.

Pros

Accessibility- the app and chrome extension are easy to use and access. Reporting- I can get very granular with reports to see who is spending their time where, on what task and for what client which helps me track my profitability.

Only con is having to start and stop the clock. I came from a time keeping product that allowed you to just switch and assign it to a new project. But in the grand scheme of things, the pros outweigh this little con.

Pros

It is really quick and easy to use. Data entry is simple. Its layout is very well designed which makes navigation quick. It looks neat and uncluttered. It is extremely well priced. The reports are professional and look great, and offer lots of ways of reporting summaries and detail. I can get summary information for the week/month/year in a few seconds.

Nothing. It just does what it says. It is a pleasure to use.

Reasons for Switching to Clockify

Monday.com was too expensive and way over-complicated for what I needed.

Pros

Clockify has a lot of great features to help your time tracking be very detailed. It also lets you create super detailed reports of the tasks and projects!

Cons

It is not intuitive and a little difficult to find your way around each feature. Also, if you accidentally click the start tracking button without filling in the task it won't let you stop it until you fill it in.

Pros

Robust yet intuitive, reliable. The amount of useful features is incredible even on the free version. I've used it for bandwidth budgeting as well when I ran a few teams at a time, now I'm back to using it with a small team.

Not much to say here, I love the tool big time.

I love being able to measure how much time I spend on my work. I've tired tons of apps and Clockify comes out on top. It has consistently boosted by productivity to new levels time and time again.

I'm very picky and there isn't actually anything I dislike.

Pros

It is online. It is free for what I require. I just simply log in and clock in my time. If I want to switch to another organization or another group of tasks it is seamless. At the end of the month, I can see all my timesheets in one place. I do not have to worry about writing down my time sheets at all. It has a phone app, so I can start or stop it on my phone with ease when I am working without my computer.

Cons

I guess the only thing I have not tried out yet is working in the plane with clockify tracking my time.

I like Clockify because it's effortless to track the time you dedicate to projects and with just a few clicks, you can generate comprehensive reports in different formats to analyze your work and your team's.
It's very easy to implement. The division of projects, clients, and teams is excellent. We also use it to track vacations. Additionally, you can add your items as required by your company. For example, we have one that includes the department you're working for.

Cons

What I like the least is that sometimes the Chrome extension doesn’t save the information, but it’s a minor issue because you can easily re-enter it.

The ease of use for people submitting time and the different reports available. It is so easy for me to find out how much time I spent on a certain customer or even reoccuring tasks.
There are a few different integrations that are available and it helps me stay organized. It relieves stress knowing that I do not have to remember to track time. Speaking of stress reliever, the site has never been down anytime that I try to access it!

There is not a lot that I do not like, the only thing I can think of is that it did take some time to get used to inputting my time and figuring out what method worked best for me.

The only issue I've experienced: When I export a detailed report as an XLSX spreadsheet, Excel is not able to interpret the Duration (h) column when I attempt to create pivot tables. This issue does not occur when the file is exported as a CSV.

Steps I follow:
1. Export the detailed report as a spreadsheet
2. Select all data in the sheet and click Insert > PivotTable
3. Drag Category to Rows, then drag Project to Rows
4. Drag Duration (h) to Values
5. Change the Value Field Settings for Duration (h) to summarize the field value by Sum (instead of Count), then change the Number Format to [h]:mm

This works as expected for CSVs, but not for XLSXs. Duration appears as 0:00 for all rows in the XLSX.
