A must have for global teams.
Rippling saved us tons of money by allowing us to smoothly hire people across multiple countries and take all the housekeeping tasks off our table.
Pros

High Velocity HRIS
Rippling has been a great investment for our company. It has not only helped increase the velocity of our processes, but it has also helped ensure that we have complete documentation in our employee files.
Below are some areas where we have had tremendous value:
- We do a weekly payroll and each week the payroll journal entry is automatically recorded in QuickBooks Online. This has saved time from our previous system where this was done manually.
- We used to have all of our onboarding documents printed out and completed by the employee. Now all onboarding documents are completed by the employee in advance of the employee's start date.
- We have pre established workflows set up in Rippling that help ensure that all tasks are completed by the appropriate staff members in advance of the staff members first day.
- Time off requests were previously submitted via paper and they are now submitted via the Rippling app. The employee's supervisor is responsible for approving time off requests.
- We use the Rippling spend app to deploy company credit cards to our team members. Team members now receive a text message after they complete a card transaction. The team member will then text back a picture of the receipt and respond with the memo for the transaction. This has saved our team members a great deal of time, and has lead to an increase in timely and accurate expense reporting.
Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with our investment in Rippling!
Pros
Rippling has allowed our company to be much more efficient with our onboarding and offboarding processes. We now have workflows set up in Rippling that assign tasks to different team members as part of the onboarding and offboarding process. This has helped keep our team more organized and allowed them to be more efficient.
We have also been able to eliminate a lot of paper processes by moving onto Rippling. All of our onboarding documents are now completed electronically, which includes the I-9. In addition, all time off requests are submitted through Rippling as opposed to a paper time off requests with our previous system.
We also recently went made an investment in the Rippling spend app. We are very pleased with how well this has worked out for our company. Our administrative time has decreased significantly and we have better visibility into credit card transactions that are made by our card holders.
Overall, Rippling has been a great investment. It has allowed us to move towards a fully remote work environment. Our documentation is much stronger and stored in one central repository.

I really can't speak to any specific areas of Rippling that have been problematic for our team.

Charged $2,000+ in erroneous fees and 6 month in with no resolution, mining staff data for...
Unresponsive and way too expensive for the quality of services. We've been charged over $2,000 in erroneous fees for payroll errors they caused and have not fixed, despite 6+ months of multiple help tickets submitted.
Pros
Their sales team and customer service was helpful in the initial stages when they were soliciting our business. After that, things went downhill.
Cons
We've used Rippling since 2022 as an all-in-one HR and Payroll provider platform and it's been a nightmare. Their payroll system does not allow for the most basic exemptions based on certain qualifications and they've charged us over $2,000 in fees for missing tax agency accounts that we never needed to set up in the first place. We've been fighting for more than 6 months to resolve it and keep hitting a brick wall of AI response and closed cases with no actual resolution. Their customer service is abysmal once they have your money and a contract. They've also been mining our employee's profiles to soliciting their personal emails for sales pitches. Stay away.

The best switch we ever made!
Rippling is easy to use for both the administrator and the employee. I love that Rippling is constantly looking for ways to improve their product. There are numerous integrations with other systems to make the administrative work more automated, thus keeping the admin labor costs to a minimum. We switched to Rippling after using Paylocity and we could not be happier that we made this change!

Best All-In-One Human Resource and Accounting Tool
Easy to use, intuitive and the support is first class!!!
Pros
As an HR Generalist, Rippling has revolutionized the way I work and manage our business. It has reduced the basic rate of "human error", increased and streamlined all onboarding procedures from first step to last, improved our overall compliance in both the fields of Accounting and Human Resource. It has given our employees an all-in-one platform where they have agency to regulate their benefits, understand their wages, easily make changes during QLE's and give them the confidence to understand their benefits, equity shares, offers and payroll. Rippling integrates into Culture Amp (our Employee Engagement software) and SLACK - But the ease of use and ease of implementation is what I like most.
Cons
Rippling needs to help foreshadow possible issues and help educate their admins so they can stop problems before they start.

Satisfaction Across The Board
I've had a great experience from our initial consultation all the way through implementation. They truly listened to the needs of our company and built a custom solution for our HR, Payroll and benefits needs. We're ending up with a much more robust offering for the products and services we use but still saved money over our previous PEO due to the customization.
Pros
Their product offering affords much more customization that other PEO's that we visited with. Their client portal is also much more intuitive than any other solution we looked at.
Cons
I haven't ran into anything that has not been great at this point.

Very bad experience - HRIS could have been great.
Bad. Once we were about to go live with the UK payroll, I did a double check and non of the salaries were calculated correctly or suddenly changed when before correct, pensions were incorrect. So we decided last minute to block the payroll run.
I feel this HRIS has so much potential, but as many, built in and for the US and made the step to Europe way to fast.
Pros
Initially I loved that everything was connected in the HRIS which would made it very complete, take away a lot of admin work and it was pretty intuitive to use. It really seemed to be an all-in-one solution.
Cons
The whole onboarding process was an absolute disaster. Bug after bug and for every country a different onboarding manager (sometimes multiple if you also include EoR - contacts changing without being informed). In the end we were communicating with 8 (!!) different people.

Great - recommend it to all my peers in operations, allows you to focus on the important things in ops and makes things super accessible for employees as well.
Pros
Ease of use as a member of the people operations team, onboarding, benefits, etc. time has been cut by more than half.
Cons
After joining PEO, you need to reach out to solve simple issues that you could have previously solved by yourself, they are quite responsive and you can get someone on a zoom within minutes however.

A complete platform for payroll and international contractors management, at a great price
Overall, after using Rippling for 5 months, I'm very satisfied with the experience.
After the first setup and first guided payrolls, everything is straightforward.
The price is great for the amount of services, such as benefits integration, international contractors management, employees payroll etc.
Pros
Our team is fully remote and has both employees on a payroll, and international contractors. With Rippling, we're able to every contract and payment in one single platform.
Setup is quite quick, more or less 1 hour, and the customer care rep who guided us made it very simple and clear.
They have a great customer care team, always available to help with doubts (which you'll have, especially if you don't use it daily. There's a lot of features)
Cost is very competitive, it was cheaper than other international hiring platforms. Do negotiate.
Cons
The setup is not the easiest, I'd have struggled to do it alone. But the guided onboarding is great and the reps very helpful and available.
International payment has a quite high fee for each payment $-$, which is 20$ for each payment.

Solid program
I primarily used it as an employee to view & download my pay stubs & tax statements and manage my time off requests.
Pros
It is intuitive to use, has a good feature set, and functions very reliably. It sees to be a very solid program. It was a great improvement over other software my employer used in the past.
Cons
This may be unique to my employer's implementation, but I have often had to log in, authenticate to the main program, then log in again to see a specific app.

Best all-in-one HR and Payroll software
Terrific experience. It was easy to implement and scale. I would recommend Rippling to any company with over 20 employees to centralize all the information required to run an HR department and make payroll.
Pros
It is an easy way to manage both W2 employees and 1099 contractors. You can keep track of their hours, make payments, share benefits with employees, have all the required HR documentation for compliance.
Its interface is also fantastic for both administrators and users.
Cons
If the main administrator is not available, there is no way to approve any changes in the 401k roll over process and Rippling cannot help a lot with this.

One stop shop for employees
We use Rippling to manage time off, learning management, approvals, employee records, onboarding, offboarding, work surveys, review cycles, benefits, and pay, among other things.
It is so nice to have a consolidated hr solution that has all of the above mentioned features, and more. For employees, it is so easy to keep track of everything hr related, whether via the web or their mobile app. Their app/website is intuitive and makes it easy to find the information you need, as well as to complete actions like surveys, trainings, signing documents, etc.
I was personally onboarded using Rippling, and it was a very seamless experience, uploading necessary documents, signing documents, and tracking progress along the way. And then it is the same system that tracks everything hr related for me. A nice one stop shop.
Pros
- Employee onboarding was fully digital/remote and very seamless
- Integration with learning management systems, like for harassment prevention training, was nice and easy to complete.
- Managing pay and benefits from the employee perspective is very intuitive.
- Review cycles are also a nice feature to formalize employee/management reviews and cadences.
Cons
In performance reviews, after that review cycle was done, I did get lost once trying to find the completed reviews. I eventually found it, but that UI wasn't as intuitive as the rest of the experience in Rippling.

Rippling fits the bill for our company
Our agency uses Rippling to power and facilitate access to payroll, insurance benefits, PTO benefits, hiring and connected apps throughout the organization. This streamlines what use to be multiple access points for admins and employees and allows for a simple, single platform. Our employees love the access and simplicity and our admins love the ease of use and time it saves.

Aesthetically appealing, easy to use. Rare glitches aren't significant.
Overall, great interface, great platform, easy to use, not generally problematic, save for a glitch sometimes here and there. Plenty of resources if you have any issues.
Pros
The platform, firstly, is very aesthetically appealing. The paystub illustrations are super cute!
The platform is user-friendly, well designed, easy to understand, well-organized, intuitive.
Color usage is good and conducive to a good user experience.
Everything is laid out well and I always feel like I can find what I need. Plenty of resources to try to troubleshoot any issues or confusions on my own.
Cons
Sometimes updates lag in Rippling. I may still be asked to perform a task in Rippling that I have already done and it will be on my homepage like an eyesore–and even might prevent me from using needed features because the update I made within my Account hasn't taken. Seems like a glitch thing.
For example, I might update my insurance information in my Account, but Rippling might still be saying I haven't and I'll have a task on my homepage telling me to do my insurance stuff.

A very comprehensive tool which has everything I need related to HR
This year has been relevant for me because my second baby was born this year. It has been a great resource to keep track of my paternity leave days, and make accurate requests to the NJ Department of Labor for my state's paternity leave insurance benefits.
Pros
It is a very intuitive and straightforward tool, which helps me to avoid the hassle of "switching" from one different tool to a different one and checking in different platforms information that I need.
Cons
There is an opportunity area related to AI, where the user could type/say (for instance) "hey, I would like to know, given my yearly accrual, and if I take x amount of vacation days in November, if I would have the right to request x amount of vacation days in November", or calculations that the user still does by hand based on the information provided by Rippling.

A great way to bootstrap a small company
Great, the platform does what it says and it does it well. I would also say that given how much it can do, it's surprisingly easy to use. Most of what you want to do you can figure out just by clicking through the webapp. If you do get stuck there is plenty of help available online.
Pros
I like how many things Rippling can take care of that you don't want to be worrying about finding separate products for and integrating them while you're trying to run a small business.
Cons
Its greatest strength is also what puts me off a bit. Because it does so much you are placing a great deal of trust in it. We had a few outages in the year I used it which meant we lost access to our cloud environments temporarily which was a huge problem. I think some care needs to be taken to have some redundancy around Rippling if you are going to make use of many of its features!

Best platform to get paid!
Very easy to set up the bank account, to mark clock-in and clock-out. You can review your payment, request time fix in case of forgetting to clock in or out.
Pros
Very easy to use, you can split your received money into more than 1 bank account, you receive your money in your local currency with great exchange rates that are done automatically.
Cons
You may not use bank accounts from different countries to receive part of the money there and part in your local bank account.
