After trying multiple tools, Sprout has been a slight leader in the sector for us but you definitely pay for it.

It provides perfect management of posts and interactions, creates detailed analytics
Pros
I love that Sprout Social allows us to keep track of our social media pages’ performance. It’s great that Sprout Social simplifies managing all our accounts from the same page, as we can easily allocate space to collect all interactions from a specific page under its own section. Scheduling posts is very easy, as is rescheduling or canceling posts.
Cons
In the case of individual subscriptions, logging into the same account from multiple devices becomes difficult, and may require a new verification or password change.

There’s no way any of these 5 star reviews are genuine
If you’re an agency that is looking to destroy your bottom line, pass on expensive unnecessary costs to your clients and be locked in to a service that cares about nothing except squeezing every dime out of your business, Sprout Social is definitely the social media management platform for you!
Pros
The pros? I suppose the posting workflow is good, as good as other platforms that are 10% of the cost. A lot of the “features” that I was promised when they locked me into a year contract with high pressure sales ended up being features that either don’t work very well or are actually kept behind massive pay walls. You’ll have to remortgage your house to get the full functionality out of Sprout.
Cons
Where do I even start. 1. To send approval requests to clients, you have to add them as an additional user… EVERY SINGLE additional user is a $499 PER MONTH. I was promised that external approved were free, so sending approval requests to clients would not cost extra, they never mentioned that you’re only allowed 3 external approved for THE ENTIRE ACCOUNT. They pressured me into signing a contract and sold me a bunch of lies.
I don’t even find the platform very intuitive. Not only that I find the features are lackluster, I have used other platforms that are a fraction of the cost with a more intuitive UI and pretty much the same features.
Reasons for Choosing Sprout Social
Because a sales rep convinced me that Sprout was far superior and worth the massive extra cost in the long run. Worst decision I’ve made in a long timeSwitched From

Excellent platform for scheduling posts on social media.
Sprout Social has effectively facilitated the optimization of our publication workflows and the efficient management of follower engagements across many social media platforms, owing to its comprehensive array of features and tools.
Pros
I appreciate that the publication process varies depending on the platform, allowing me to better gauge whether or not an image is the wrong size or whether or not I am releasing at the best time of day. It's also great that I don't have to do any extra work to get the reports I pull ready to give to my team members. The Smart Inbox is fantastic since it saves me the trouble of signing into different services just to respond to comments and messages.
Cons
One thing i don't like about Sprout is that I have to create posts twice if I want them to look different on different platforms. I wish there was a dedicated space on the create screen where I could rework the text specifically for Twitter, condensing it while leaving the rest of the message intact.

Makes Social Media Management so Easy!
It's been a great experience so far. They also have a great support team that you can work with to ensure that you're utilizing all of the platform features as best as you can. For teams who struggle to plan and manage their social accounts, I highly recommend Sprout Social. The platform also can help you uncover trends for future planning too!
Pros
No one has the time to sit there and individually schedule out social posts so that's where Sprout Social comes into play! We purchased this software to help us plan and manage our organic social media calendar easily. They also can integrate with paid ads, but that's not something we use it for. I love that you can see a calendar of upcoming posts so I can see if there are any gaps in our calendar. Sprout Social also has very robust reporting for each platform and it has allowed me to have deeper insights into how our accounts and posts are doing. It's been a big lifesaver. Prior to this, I would always forget to post so this has made it easier to make a plan!
Cons
The platform is kind of pricey, especially as you add on more licenses. You can't create any custom reports. However, they have a lot of robust reports so I imagine you don't need to. We haven't needed to yet.

Easily allows for teamwork
Overall, this is an easy-to-use tool that makes my daily work so much more manageable, and makes teamwork seamless.
Pros
One of the best features on Sprout is the ability to have multiple users create, review, and publish content. This has saved us a tremendous amount of time on our team. The user interface is really nice and accessible, and the features are all the essentials you would want in a scheduling tool plus some bonus features that I don't use often but are nice to have. Most of all, the reporting tool saves me a tremendous amount of time. It's customizable so you can quickly pull a report for a certain channel and window of time when needed.
Cons
When drafting content, sometimes it's difficult for tags to load or come through at all, especially with regards to Facebook. I also wish that you could customize the metadata on links in Sprout, with the same functionality of something like Yoast, so that your social person could swap out thumbnails quickly. I do have issues from time to time with what attachments are generated as well; depending on the order in which you insert links into the draft, it will pull different attachments. Sometimes you have to delete and re-insert links in the draft to get the right attachment. It would be better if Sprout added a section to choose the link you want to attach.
Reasons for Choosing Sprout Social
Hootsuite wasn't serving our team and we were without a tool for a while. When I came into the role, I suggested Sprout for its reporting and drafting capabilities.Switched From

The Best Social Media Scheduling Platform Hands Down
We love Sprout Social and highly recommend it to others. We've used other scheduling platforms, and nothing has come close to being able to handle our needs the way Sprout Social can.
Pros
Our team has used a variety of social media scheduling platforms, including Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and others, and Sprout Social is by far our favorite for many reasons.
• As an agency with hundreds of profiles, Sprout Social makes multiple account management a breeze.
• The scheduling browser is very easy to use.
• It offers ideal posting times to help you optimize reach and engagement.
• It offers a birdseye view of the month. (One of our pain points with Hootsuite was that this was not an option.)
There are also many features that those who work with social media every day can appreciate that the average user might not, such as:
• The option to schedule and create a new post without having to click into a new window each time.
• The ability to download reports by platform and specific date easily and quickly.
• The option to view data which allows you to see which content is performing the best.
Cons
I won't beat around the bush. It's pricey. Very pricey. If you're a freelancer or not using social media daily, it may not be worth the investment. If you're an agency working with multiple clients or if social media is part of your daily routine, a scheduling software that offers everything Sprout Social offers is well worth it.

Best Social Media Campaign Management Tool
By now, Sprout is just a part of my daily life. Once a week I will input all the post information that we designed in our development meeting, and schedule them to run throughout the next week across all the channels we use. Every other day I pop in to check on analytics and check notifications/engagement. Then, once a month, I use the easy reporting system to send reports on analytics to the clients whose social I run. Every now and then there will be some error that stops me from posting, and customer service might not fix it speedily, but that's a small percentage of my daily interaction. Usually it flows smoothly.
Pros
After bouncing between a number of free trials for similar software, Sprout easily won my heart. It's well-designed, easy to use, and intuitively includes plenty of great features like reporting and cross-posting.
Cons
While not a bad price for an agency, the cost is unfortunately prohibitive for most freelancers. Were a cheaper tier offered, I guarantee they would see a lot of interest. I've also had poor experiences with support chat, with tickets taking days before completion even when they impact currently-running campaigns.

SproutSocial is great for visual planners and easy to create messaging-per-channel on the fly
It's straightforward and easy to start using quickly.
Pros
The guidance the platform offers for each channel, helping to select the right time, word length, keywords, etc. to ensure your post is best suited for each channel. The calendar is crucial and the color coding and ease to drag things around makes it simple to maintain.
Cons
It would be nice if one "post" could be tailored to each channel and scheduled for each channel without having to duplicate and update for each channel.

Effortless pre-publishing and superb social media analytics
Since subscribing to Sprout in the past 3-4 years, I have been able to grow my business due to the ease of reporting to clients. A big thank you from me as a small business owner.
