Heartland Payments+ has lifted us the burden of having a single way to get payed by customers. It has allowed us to accept different types of payment methods which has made online food ordering so effective. The overall experience with this amazing product has been a great success.

Heartland Payments+ gives us the most confidential and secure money processing platform making it easy to run our business especially when receiving online payments. It ensures that we have accurate and updated transactions reports that help us to track all the received payments and also makes it easy to resolve any payments disputes. Heartland payment has been really easy to use with no hidden fees or confusing costs. it has really made our payment process simpler by offering different payment options so our customers can use whatever method they like best. it is worth mentioning that it has strong security features as well. Beware of Dishonest Practices
In our case because we were paperless we did not realize that they jacked the rate up to 7.9% plus many other fees. We are a small business and By the time we had time to analyze the bills we had been take for a ride for almost a year which totaled a loss of thousands.
Such a scumbag move.
They could have have a customer for life and a good review.
Pros
While we used them in the beginning everything was ok.
Cons
As soon as your initial contract is up they do not tell you anything they just jack your rate up and continue to do so until you notice.

Initial setup complexity, for instance setting up the clover POS system was challenging for me.
There's no transaction fee transparency with hidden fees that come unexpectedly.
The users custom report generation are limited for advanced users

A payment management tool I trust
A payment tool my small scale business employs to receive payment from clients no matter where they are
Pros
Heartland payments+ has been a very essential tool for our small scale business ever since we have been making use of it. I like that it is so easy to set up and use even for someone like me that is not a tech wizard. I also love how payments can be made quickly and securely from clients no matter where my they are. The customer support team is also really helpful and responsive. Overall. I would definitely recommend it to other small business owners.

I haven't experienced or encountered any problem since I have been using it

Great processing but watch fees
Had them for 9 years and had no issues. Had to change credit card processing and thats when we found out how high their fees were.

It support every type of payment method that is available and give customer various range of option how they want to proceed with the payment. Fast payment deposit to our bank account and only take 24 hours in most cases. Heartland Payment+ has the solutions for both online and terminal payment.

Heartland is easy to use, transparent, and has lower fees
It's easy. I don't have that nagging feeling that I am being ripped off because of hidden fees because there aren't any.
Pros
The customer service is amazing! The people are so friendly and helpful when you need help. The software is very easy to use. You see everything! There aren't hidden fees or fees that are impossible to figure out and the fees are lower than others.
Cons
It doesn't seem to be set up for automatic payments or maybe it is, but I haven't figured it out yet. It's the one area where customer service wasn't able to help me.

Make payment to your employees with Heartland Payment+
I have few people who works under me and I have to pay them time to time as part of their monthly wages for the services I take from them. So I use Heartland Payment+ for this purpose and it has been working quite good till now with a very low fee as payment gateway charges.
Pros
I have been using Heartland payment+ for almost a year I can say that I can track each payment made to a person even from past with even a minute details such as tax charged and payment gateway charges. The best thing I felt about this software is that it's one of the gateway which charges lowest payment processing fees.
Cons
Sometimes, I have seen some delay in payment processing from the company, but it's been very rare scenarios. Last time it happened was 3 months ago, but mostly it works fine.

Heartland's systems are from the stone ages
Horrible. Their customer service people are nice but the systems are so messed up that the sites are down a lot and then you cant get in. When I logged in to my statements website it was a totally different business and the person on the phone could not figure it out. So I requested paper statements to be mailed and that was $20 more a month. Then I requested the person to email me a statement and he had to put me on hold to get approval to email the statements. Mind you they could not get me into my portal to receive statements! Their error. So frustrating to deal with. I run a small store with a website and they did not provide good service so I cancelled. I asked them to not charge me all of my cancellation fees since their service has been so bad, they refused. All they care about is your money!

I did not like anything about this software. They are horrible.
Cons
The online credit card processing allowed a lot of fraud payments thru. Then they would charge our small business fees to compensate for that. When I called customer service it would be at least an hour to deal with them. For each area of information... refunds, statement, charges, there are different logins. I had 4 different log ins by the time I cancelled and paid the cancellation fees (which they quoted me $200 then said they will probably charge me more). This system is old and they are not doing the proper protocol to fix it. I would I highly recommend going with anyone else besides them. We switched to swipe and have not had one charge back.

Good Credit Card Processor
Heartland does exactly what they've said they were going to do. They allow us to take credit cards and they pay us the very next day.
Pros
They do what I need them to do and I have had no issues in the last 2.5 years we've been with them. They also have stellar customer service. Every time I call, I get someone who is very pleasant and helpful, which is difficult to get with most companies.
Cons
Their website looks beautiful but it can be difficult to use and VERY slow to load. Also, their pricing is beyond convoluted so I have no idea what I'm paying for, but I do sense my rates rising.

Easy to use for the user
When we used this on the Front desk, it always seemed to work just fine. In our restaurant, it would have a day here and there, but customer support was always effective at doing what they could as fast as they could, regardless of whether it seemed fast enough on our end. When this system works, you forget that it's there almost, it's that straight forward to use once it's set up. (I wasn't there when it was set up.)
Pros
It was always easy to use, and if it wasn't working, the Customer Support was thorough.
Cons
I didn't use it enough to have any complaints, really. Other than it wouldn't work sometimes, but that happens to anything.
