Integrating Asana For Workflow Efficiency
It makes our workflow much, much easier and communication much more effective. Our design team is able to stay aligned through their simplified interface, which makes it very simple to track tasks and deadlines. But there have been some occasional glitches, but these are generally minor and do not impede on our productivity.
Pros
Its very convenient to use task management system in Asana and seamless integration make it a hit. Customizable templates allow the workflows to be tailored to specific projects and help teams to be more efficient. Asana continuous collaboration features help its team members communicate instantly, get updates, and track progress without any hiatus, and it is a powerful choice for product designers.
Cons
Asana has its strengths but could use a couple of extra bells and whistles, as far as reporting goes, which would give a bit deeper knowledge about project timelines and resource allocation. Additionally, the mobile app's UI needs to be cleaner and more streamline in order to execute the navigation, in which the user can even perform the tasks easily on the go.

Where or where did my old Asana go? It went greedy.
It used to be very positive, not it is just a money-hungry disappointment.
Pros
It used to have an ease of use. Very vitually appealing and easy for staff to follow. I also enjoyed the Celebration Creatures.
Cons
Since developing a paid version, more and more functions have been stripped from the paid one. And the paid version is incredibly expensive for a small, independent business. The search function is impossible, you can't get rid of detritus, etc. I can no longer recommend them.

Ready or not, Asana is here for you
Overall asana is a great tool, I’ve setup an account for every company I worked for the last few years and it has been a game changer ever since. I do have quite a few years of project management experience so it is quirky and exciting for me to use this tool. I recommend teams looking to implement dedicate an internal or external PM to setup the tool for your company’s internal teams by understanding what current challenges they face when providing status updates on projects. This tool needs atleast 90 days to really get it setup for companies with 150 employees or less but will become an instant hit if you dedicate the resources to get it started
Pros
Asana is a great tool for the type A project manager or teams that enjoy craft organizational tools with a twist. Asana has a TON of different customizations such as creating rules for tasks once the completion date has been reached or allowing you to assign a collaborator to a child tasks with a parent action
Cons
Since there are so many custom tool options it may motivate teams to delay the initial setup of the tool to make it work for your industry or line of project tasks and milestones

Knowing Asana!
I love love Asana! It is a highly organizational and efficient work tool. I can manage the entire team as a project manager from anywhere in the world. Though a bit difficult to navigate, it’s one of the best tools for a project manager
Pros
That I can remotely manage mine and my team schedule. I love the fact that I can collaborate with every member of my team . Finally, I love the flexibility and of the tool.
Cons
It can be a bit hard for one to navigate the software. The software needs proper time to acclimatize.

The best way to get your projects done!
The best way to make projects look like a game. You have a nice animations when you complete a task and it really makes doing work more fun.
Pros
The best thing is the free version for small teams. If you are starting your business or you have a smaller team it is the best. Great way to experience how things work.
Cons
From start it was a bit tricky to navigate between free and paid options.

Intuitive Planning Software - Great for Projects
Running an online business requires a lot of different types of tasks from product creation to social media. I especially like to use Asana for complicated projects like creating an online course. This task benefits from project management because there are a lot of dependencies. For example, you can't launch the sales page until you finish the checkout page, etc.
However for daily to-dos I find something simpler (like pen and paper) is more useful.
I still haven't completely refined my workflow to optimize my use of software.
Pros
Asana is a very robust project management tool with a simple interface. It is not hard to get started and do the basics such as creating a project and adding tasks. The app is also very intuitive and you can get to your tasks quite quickly. I like that I can just scroll through the tasks and find one that I can do in the time I have available. You can also prioritize your tasks by importance.
I like the list view of projects because I don't have to open workspaces and boards, etc. However, it does also have the Kanban layout.
Cons
This is not really the fault of the software, but I tend to put too many tasks in project management tools and this reduces my motivation to open them. Ultimately, it's easier for me to remember something when I write it down on paper.

I'm in LOVE!
It has been a life saver and honestly I could not manage my team without it.
Pros
The calendar view. In one screen I can see what my entire team has going in the upcoming days and how full our schedule is.
Cons
The phone app. I wish it was a little more robust. Lacking the calendar view is what I dislike the most about the app and why I don't use it much in my manager roll.

Asana - your one step shop to collaborative work environments.
It has been incredible beneficial interface for our organization and has personally helped me a ton to stay on task and focus on the most important tasks first.
Pros
Asana is a great tool for any business that works within multiple levels. We use it across our organization to stay involved and collaborative. It's been so beneficial to have immediate feedback from team members about projects.
Cons
Sometimes switching between companies/jobs is a bit clunky. There isn't a whole lot to complain about when using it, however.

Simple yet fully effective
Excellent and I couldn't see our company wanting to replace the software. The other thing to mention is that I am sure there resolution services are good however we have never needed to contact them in the years that we have been a customer. The software never seems to glitch which is unheard of.
Pros
It is so effortless to use. Instead of software trying to justify its cost by making things more complicated than it needs to be, asana just allows you to tailor exactly the internal sheets you need so you can collaborate easily with a widespread team.
Cons
The only downside with Asana is just its level of integration with other software that we use on a daily basis. We knew that Asana didn't integrate with the software we wanted it too but decided that it was still worth implementing within our business.

It just looked like it had the ability to give us templates that were able to be tailored best to our needs as a business. Great project management software
Overall, Asana meets all of our needs and the large portion of our wants.
Pros
I love being able to keep everyone on the same page. When implementing our software product, Asana lets each person on the project know what is expected of them and what is expected of others. There is no "I thought you were doing that" or "what are we waiting on". Asana eliminated this. I also love being able to build templates that I can utilize again and again. I don't have to start over each time.
Cons
I wish that Asana had the ability to segment users more. I want complete control over who can comment, who can post, who can complete task, etc. Asana does some of this but it needs to be more granular.

Asana - I couldn't work without it
Asana is a huge part of my work experience. I literally spend maybe 15% of my total time at work on Asana, as I work in operations. There are tons of different uses for it, to list a few that I use:
1. Content calendar for email marketing
2. Board for review dates of internal knowledge articles and templates
3. Personal boards for each of our team members listing tasks
4. Team boards that show each team members list of capacity (overlaps with 3)
5. Meeting boards where anyone is welcome to add a card into a 'to be discussed column' where we discuss ideas in a weekly meeting
Pros
I liked the incredible customisability the most about Asana. It's a software that has thousands (maybe a slight hyperbole) of potential uses. We use it for so many things, and it is incredibly integrated into my daily workflow I couldn't imagine working without it.
Cons
Asana is slightly lacking options regarding levels of user access into projects. For example, who can comment, who can view, who can add attachments etc..

A solid intermediate project management tool
It's a positive experience when using Asana for our clients. It's not our tool of choice however, but it's good for that particular use-case.
Pros
Asana is a solid project management tool. I'd say it's an intermediate tool, with very good basics and plenty of more advanced features. I like the customisability and the way they organise projects and teams. The number of different views on each screen makes it easy to monitor projects "at a glance" and these filters serve as shortcuts into more detailed screens.
Cons
Asana is not the most advanced project management tool, and it doesn't target any specific niche. This means that you'll both find features many people will never use, while also missing some features you might need. One of the biggest flaws for me is the poor editability of messages and task descriptions. This makes Asana a no-go for any company with a writing culture, and often makes asynchronous communication harder.

A Great Tool for Staying Organized and Collaborative
My overall experience with Asana was positive. It helped me stay organized, meet deadlines, and collaborate efficiently. The platform's flexibility in task management and visual project tracking made content planning easier, though it could get cluttered with larger projects
Pros
I liked Asana's ability to keep projects organized with its task management and calendar views, making it easy to plan content, set deadlines, and track progress. The integrations with tools like Google Drive also streamline sharing and collaboration.
Cons
What I liked least about Asana was the occasional clutter when managing complex projects, as too many tasks and subtasks could make it overwhelming. Additionally, some features felt limited unless you upgraded to the premium version.

Don't Just Take My Word for It - This Tool Will Change Your Project Management Life
No more task-tracking tears or deadline drama. It keeps my projects organized, my team on the same page, and automates the boring stuff. Sure, reports could be fancier, but hey, it integrates with other tools like a champ. Overall, it's a productivity power-up! You tried it?
Pros
Planning meetings with my team used to be a nightmare! Asana's calendar view makes scheduling a breeze. Everyone can see each other's availability and book time directly – it's a lifesaver!
Cons
Asana excels at visual project tracking, giving you a clear picture of progress. However, for those who need super detailed reports on things like team performance or resource allocation, Asana's reporting features might not be as comprehensive. The good news is Asana integrates well with many business intelligence tools, so you can create those in-depth reports if needed.

They will charge you for more seats than you bought
They have the potential to be a fine platform, but have opted to steal from their customers rather than just being good and building customer loyalty.
Pros
It's an organization tool that does just about the same stuff as any other project management tool.
Cons
I signed up for the premium account. TWICE, they changed my account to have more seats than what I purchased. The first time, they told me they would make up for it by giving me several months free. We changed my account back to the two-seat minimum, and I thought things would be fine. But then they changed my account back to five seats without any notice and overcharged me again.
Instead of paying around $22, I was charged $74.
Again, they refused to refund any money even though they are the ones who changed my account.
Since then, I have found out that this is a common practice. I actually got lucky in that I was only charged for three extra seats instead of five or 15!

Excellent platform for team organization.
This platform helps create an organized and structured environment, making it easier to complete projects smoothly.
Pros
It helps me to automate workflows, seamlessly manage team tasks, and integrate with the calendar for emails and important events.
Cons
Initially, Asana is slightly complex to understand and can take a while, even with the free version. But once you do, it helps streamline projects and manage tasks easily.
