a cut above the rest

We made the switch from using Mond Body for 5 years to Wellness Living 7 years ago and have never looked back. As our business has grown so has WL. We have a large number of offerings from Yoga, Pilates & Fitness classes on weekly direct debit, to national and international retreats and Yoga & Pilates Teacher Trainings. I love how WL seamlessly integrates with Mailchimp and zoom and our website. Having our own branded App (that doesn't cost an arm and a leg) sets us above our competitors and makes it easy for our clients to book in for classes and events.
Glad we made the jump across 7 years ago and won't be going anywhere.

Sometimes it can take a few hours or next day before someone responds to an email enquiry because of the time difference here in Australia.

Highly recommend

Overall positive experience. I value how this system is able to have multiple users, and users with different modalities (pilates, osteotherapy, ect). When one therapist needs SOAP notes they can access this option.

Pros

We picked Wellness Living as our scheduler as it had all the accessibility we needed from a scheduler system for both our wellness element of Osteotherapy and studio element for Pilates. We wanted classes to be seen under a full schedule view, which they have, and for online booking / purchases to be tailored. Wellness Living continues to add ongoing updates!

Cons

Initially, it was not as well groomed as the former scheduler system we had. However, they have not made up for it with all their upgrades. I rather have a product that is improving as I know when I have a complaint its heard and also then action is taken to make it better.

They are scammer with hidden fee

Horrible. They are unworthy of trust. They are scammers for small boutique studio. They use one merchant processor that charges you with hidden fee such as annual fee, monthly PCI compliance, etc without notifying your business. When you want to cancel, they play you and waste the time so, they charge you extra money. Be aware of this. Runaway from this business and Paragon, their merchant service.

I switched to WellnessLiving and am happy!

I switched to WellnessLiving from MindBody after MindBody's service became almost non-existent, but at the same time it grew in price exponentially. WellnessLiving welcomed me and made the transition for my studio with thousands of clients very easy. They were with me every step of the way to ensure all my questions were answered. That was more than 2 years ago. Since then I have enjoyed their continuous support, very quick response and immediate attention to every question I had (and I had a lot of question while learning the new to me software). The software is very customer friendly and responsive, and the company continues to work hard to make it even better. They seamlessly incorporate new technologies and stay abreast of the innovations. WellnessLiving also offers educational webinars to offer new features and make our experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend WellnessLiving!

Great decision to partner with Wellness Living!

After a thorough assessment of platforms for managing our studio services, staff and a broad-based set of CRM-related functionality, we landed on Wellness Living and made the switch in 2021. Wellness Living continues to invest in their platform, largely based on business feedback, and has expanded their functionality along with streamlining key processes to make day-to-day studio management simple. We push the boundaries with regards to integration and the use of the platform. When we run into problems, the support is generally solid. Happy with our decision!

Great for our growing multi-service wellness studio!

We have used Wellness Living software for our business for almost four years, and I've been impressed with its ability to grow and evolve with our small business. We offer 1:1 appointments, small group classes, and workshops and this robust software meets all of these scheduling needs.

Wellness Living is different than any other software we have used. They make real effort as a company to communicate, answer questions, provide helpful resources, and listen to user feedback, and they are continuously striving to meet the needs of the businesses they serve and evolve with the industry.

Cons

Wellness Living is a robust system, and there are a lot of features and settings that can be customized to different business needs. This means set up can take some time, and it could be more than some businesses need.

If you have a service based business, you NEED this software!

I've been using Wellness Living since 2020 for my Massage and Yoga business and I cannot say enough good things about it! First, the software itself is capable of managing every aspect of the business from booking to inventory to payroll to retail sales and Gift Certificates. I get shocked looks when I tell folks in my small town that we have an app they can use and then they can not live without it!
On top of that, the support team is extremely responsive. If there is a problem or a feature you'd like to see, there is a whole community of businesses and tech support to reach out to, ask questions and, if needed, get help from (and yes, they will hold your hand through whatever issue you need resolved, if need be). Whenever there is an update, they send out videos and virtual workshops to help familiarize you with changes as well as tips on optimizing your experience!
They are constantly trying to add features suggested by the users and make things run smoothly so that you only need to worry about doing what you love to do: run your business.
I have already recommended WL to several other similar businesses and will continue to do so.
Thanks for a KickA$$ product that makes my life simpler!

Wellness Living for the Win!

Wellness Living includes features like book-a-spot, class wait-list, and so many helpful features we needed but were going to have to pay extra to have with other software. We actually tried another software and quickly realized, how Wellness Living is the best out there and offered at an affordable price. Also, any time we’ve needed help, we always enjoy interacting with their customer service.

Nice People, Poor & Unreliable Product

The people who work in customer service are helpful. But if a product is unreliable, that means little. It is a cost effective product for a new, growing studio. But once you can afford something different, you really should try another service that is more reliable.

Pros

There are many features and the system is cost effective for smaller studios like mine. You generally hear back from someone in the company when you need them within 24 hours.

Cons

The system is completely unreliable. On my opening day, there was a system wide outage that lasted almost 24 hours. I could not check in clients, take payments, or conduct business. This is not the only time this has happened. For larger studios, this may not be an issue but for small businesses like mine, letting a customer walk out of the door because you cannot get them into your system due to downtime is a really big deal. It is also cumbersome when you try to get people to create an account because everything is routed through their backend. Wellness Living also does not have APIs that integrate with much of the popular software that allows you to market to clients (e.g. Class Pass) and it does not integrate with systems like Netgym which allow scheduling support. If money is an option, try them. But they are a short term solution. I have had multiple days when my instructors could not sign in, we could not check people in, or we could not accept money because the system was down. They really need to do better.

Good software, but beware the processor, Paragon.

We've had our issues with them, but have found work arounds. The way they do financials is a bit frustrating. (e.g. if a members dues of $20 doesn't go through 2 times and clears the 3rd time it'll show a total of $60 and not $20)

Pros

The product does everything you need it to do without having to pay for features like mailing members. There's a small cost for texting members. It's easy to let members signed up for a class know of any changes.

Cons

The biggest detractor is their processor, Paragon. They treat debit cards the same as credit cards even though it's against Federal regulations (The Durban amendment). With the software I find it odd that a member on a month to month membership has to have an end date for their membership. The only time there's an end date is when they decide to cancel.

Support Team is Helpful

Recently I had a call with [sensitive content hidden] to discuss the marketing tools that are included in my membership. She helped me fine tune things I was already doing and gave me great suggestions to make more use out of the automated emails and even use my website to drive more traffic to my studio. It was very helpful and worth my time. Thank you for your time [sensitive content hidden]!

It is a large program with a lot of features. It has everything I need for my business today and for when I grow.

Cons

Sometimes it is too much program and can be confusing to navigate. The support team is helpful though. You don't have to navigate it alone.

High Performance Product with Tons of Features

Overall, WellnessLiving has been a very good fit for our business. We are please to see improvements to the booking flow for families and anticipate that there will be future updates that will improve the experience for parents who are booking classes for their children. There is so much functionality in this software and we have benefitted from the use of SMS, push, email, forms and so many of the other features.

Pros

WellnessLiving is a comprehensive and high-performance platform for scheduling, booking and payments. We use it for our youth fitness and gymnastics facility and find it to be relatively easy and generally intuitive. We are still uncovering all of the features and learning what settings work best for our business, but so far, we are very happy with our decision to use WellnessLiving.

Cons

The biggest challenge we’ve faced is the booking interface for families. They have made significant updates to this on the web app, but the mobile app is cumbersome and difficult for families to use. The process of creating a “family” account is also not very easy for users, leading us to spend a lot of time fixing accounts, linking family members to the accounts and updating the billing preferences.

Best Software for Wellness Services

Since we choose WellnessLiving the team was very helpful to make things smooth, we made a migration from a previous software very smooth and we never had any issues whit the platform. It's been always very stable and I see day by day they keep improving the software, that make us feel comfortable that we can keep working with WellnessLiving.

Pros

WellnessLiving is great because it's easy to use and has everything you need to run your wellness business smoothly, appointments, sales, clients, rewards, marketing, etc. They keep updating it to make sure it stays useful and relevant for you to help business to grow.

Cons

All in one software makes running growing my business doable.

Customer service has always been responsive and friendly. As they have grown, I've noticed that it is much more challenging to reach them by phone for emergencies. But, overall, better experience than we have with most other businesses in general.

Pros

I love that WellnessLiving is an "all-in-one" solution. Having all client information, marketing, and financials in one place saves hundreds of dollars in software and admin costs.

Cons

Though WellnessLiving offers most features I need, it is not possible for one company to do everything well. Their constant updates are great for the most part, but I wish they made an API available for integration with other software & services. They recently released a Zapier integration and that was HUGE, but it needs a bit more work. Marketing capabilities, in general, are okay, but I don't believe it is possible for WL to update marketing cababilities at a speed that is comparable to a software company that is solely focused on marketing.

Best product and nearly all in one

Pros

Ease of use for my customers with our branded app they can create an account, schedule, update payment info, and more all from their phone. Easy to set up as the business owner.

Cons

Cannot automate customer journey emails and have to use mailchimp to do so. Have to manually track KPI's with excel using multiple different reports from WellnessLiving. Does not integrate well with Google of Instagram for easy quick booking, which deters some customers. If your business is somewhat "complicated" you have to set up many different purchase options and therefore customers cannot apply the free reward sessions to their account to use for booking.

All-In-One Booking System

I appreciate Wellness Living’s customer service. As a business owner with a looooong to-do list, I love that Wellness Living makes our booking platform easy for myself and for our users. All the options available are also exceptional.

Pros

I love that Wellness Living includes so many of the features that I would have to pay more for on other platforms. Also, I feel like technology can easily overwhelm me and I find WL very user friendly.

The software did not work for my company

waste my time and money they do not offer free trial because the company have a lot of services they do not stay.

The deposit payment for services with automatic remaining.

Cons

Can not do multiple services check out the client have 5 services have to do one by one, and the reports. It's too big all the software on the screen. The filter the calendar it's to big can not see the apply on the screen have to scroll down and disappear have to start all again.

Great software for yoga studio

The software is robust, easy to use and the customer service reps are always willing to help. They are cheerful, patient and will call me back if I have a questions I cannot resolve. I am over the moon with the software for my yoga studio business. I think it is professional looking and easy to use for both the teachers and the owners as well as more importantly, the students.

Pros

Very easy to use, robust reporting and easy client interface. My students love it and we love our branded app.

Cons

Sometimes hard to get a hold of someone to help answer questions but they always call you back.

Better Solutions are out there

It is a poor experience overall unfortunately, there are much better business management software solutions out there

Pros

The scheduler functions pretty well for selecting classes

Cons

Aside from the scheduler for selecting a class, the other features are objectively very poor. The store for merchandise and the redemption of member points literally has never worked for me and I have to utilize a workaround for redeeming my points.

I am so sorry I ever used them

My biggest issue with this company is that their software really doesn't work. When I signed on with them in October 2022 they were okay, but recently I have discovered so many issues and when I try to get help with them, they don't really take accountability and instead try to push the problem back to you, when it isn't a user error.
For example I did a promo where the first month of membership was discounted, but the bug discounted those people for months until I changed it. I lost a few thousand dollars from that. Then when I told customer service they directed me on how to do that promo, but I applied the promo right it just doesn't work.
The worst part was when I cancelled, they charged me an "early cancellation fee" basically their contract renews in July and you're hooked in for a year, every year. I understand requiring commitment for your first year but I when I expressed that was unfair they were just like "well you signed the contract" so it's okay to put ridiculous things in your contract and hide behind it?
So I was charged my early cancellation fee of $1000 plus $500 for my own data transfer plus and extra month out of nowhere that they said they would return but have not done so.
Now they are dragging their feet (we're 3 weeks in) on the data transfer, but decided to push through the cancellation before that was done! So now I have no data and no new software, and no old software. I tried to contact my rep but the day she's cancelling me she's actually impossible to reach. Once they took me for all I'm worth they don't care about me anymore.
Also, for several weeks we couldn't even download my app onto Android, I lost several customers this way.
I would strongly advise against using Wellness Living. They sell you a cool slick software but it's a dinosaur with broken legs.
