Best Task Manager in my opinion

Wish more products were as robust as this. Did not have to contact support at all.

Pros

I like the colors. I like the collapse function. I like the use, tags, multiple projects, agenda function, loose tasks, kanban format, attachments, links, categories, scheduling, integration into other apps.

Cons

Based on my use case, I dont see any issues with it. Always works like a expect it to.

Robustious TM and PM Program: MeisterTask

Pros

MeisterTask facilitates task, project and work management tools which help save time and eradicate errors through automation.

Cons

Unfortunately, MeisterTask is web based and highly depends on internet due to lack of offline access capabilities.

Great for small, hourly based businesses.

I was sorry to let the product go, but it wasn't useful for us anymore.

It was so easy to use and move around the different tasks it would keep track of. It was just an expense we no longer needed to pay our employees.

If you have a small business and need timecards, this is the program for you.

Pros

I liked that I could keep track of the hours spent on a project, even though they were charged by flat rates. It helped adjust those flat rates based on the author's work. It was also very helpful for filing taxes for deductions. As the EIC, I was able to see where my editors and proofers were in the process instead of bothering them with emails.

Cons

When we first started using the program, the options we needed were free, and as a start-up, that was amazing. As time went on, the company removed more and more of those options to a cost tier. Since we focused on flat rates, and it was incredible to be able to use those options, it was no longer an option now that I have to cover so many other payment/payroll fees.

Set Your Projects up for Success with Task Management

I love the kanban board view within MeisterTask and used the tool for project tracking with my team for a year. We ultimately found other tools with more flexibility at lower costs.

Pros

Easy to set up project boards and add multiple team members for tasks.

Cons

The cost per user is higher than comparative tools.

Using MeisterTask

I am very happy with MeisterTask, and it has been an invaluable tool for us when it comes to project and task management. I do use another tool in addition to MeisterTask, but not to replace it. Overall, I would be more than happy to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a powerful management tool.

Pros

MeisterTask is a very powerful tool, and also one that is pretty easy to use once you start working with it. It makes managing projects and tasks very easy, and having team members all connect on various projects makes the entire management process a very effective one.

Cons

There weren't many cons at all with it. At first the interface can look a little intimidating, but once you get started, you'll soon realise that it's pretty straight forward to use.

MeisterTask: Wish it gets better

Ease of use ..Fast Deployment Multi-platform support.

Cons

- Timeline: Horrible!- Colors and UI theme: outdated.- Reporting is very limited !! Should be highly customization -> Benfecial for reviews and team meetings .. as for customer-facing meetings and status updates.- The mobile view could be better. How do you mark it a success? If a user can use the mobile version independently - with no desktop or web - then this is a success.- Consolidated project view: missing. The agenda view is useless.- Drag and drop tasks among projects- Multi-task selection is not smooth- Time reminders are not fluid or practical enough- Automation needs many and many improvements --> Need to link a header with dates. Then if a task is created in this kanban, it immediately inherits this date .. Mapping a kanban to a calendar day (Sunday, Monday, .. etc) is gonna be very useful. We need to talk to explain this to you guys ..

A great tool for a long time on the market.

The appearance and style of the tool is great and UX is slicker than Trello, the tool i used prior. The kanban boards look great and easy to share.

Pros

The design of the tool felt better and more grown up than Trello and was easier to use.

Cons

The pricing changed a lot since I implemented it and it became too expensive.

Easy to use, quick to implement, not too expensive

Overall we are quite satisfied with product as address our current needs fully.

Pros

One of the great features of MeisterTask is its ability to easily track time spent on a specific task.

Cons

Creating custom reports is not possible. Prepared reports are sometimes not so usefull.

The most productive task / project planner

I’ve been using MeisterTask for a number of years now and it is my go to piece of software for managing all of my projects in one location. I can keep track of things on my iPhone and iPad as well as on my desktop.

Pros

My hands-down, favorite part of this entire app is all of the automation tools. It gives you to help streamline your process and illuminate repetitive tasks.

Cons

A better way to manage all of my tasks from multiple projects on a single dashboard. The agenda option that they give us and the pinning are a good start, but I’d like a little more flexibility and automation built into the agenda dashboard.

New User trying to create an Agile Product Portfolio

The Sales team have been very helpful in the initial stages, we have asked for involvement in the product development, but to date have not been invited to comment on our needs or issues.

Pros

The initial ease of use in creating the projects, tasks and the alignment and linking to Microsoft tooling

Cons

Lack of reporting and a true rolled-up Gannt chart that would and could be used to visually show project progress

Good software for project planning

Great Tool!

Pros

Very easy to work using the Kanban approach. Literally the best application that I know for this use.

Cons

I found it complicated to stop recurring tasks once they have been completed. Every week, it would show up as a new task and I could not find a solution for it in the help section online.

MeisterTask Keeps our non-profit task management on track

We use it extensively every day to manage as many as 60 tasks across 3 projects. I can't imagine doing what we do without it.

Pros

I am more thankful every day that we implemented MeisterTask into our non profit's suite of tools. I don't know how we would be managing our current workload without it!

Cons

Archived tasks need to be searchable and text selectable on the mobile app. The capability exists with the desktop web app but needs to be applied to the mobile app.Over 50 tasks can not be listed on the mobile app without resorting .. this is problematic.

My Life Organizer

It's made an enormous difference in how I manage my time. I love how I can visually organize my life and that there are features that allow me to keep track of my progress for each task. The collaboration aspect is also useful.

Pros

I love that I can keep track of everything that I need to in order to do my job and keep my projects straight.

Cons

I don't like all the notifications to my email. I look at my tasks everyday and don't need all the emails.

Great software for drag and drop task management

It's great, I've referred to it friends. It's the drag and drop feature that sells it !

Pros

Love the ease. Would like the option to colour the actual cards (like coloured post it notes) not just the columns

Cons

that they've constricted the number or projects for non paid members. I use it rarely and it's not critical for my business so the incentive to upgrade to paid for me is not significant.

Convenient, simple, effective!

Pros

It has everything you need to manage in one place. We use it to add new project, monitor process, track which department it's currently sitting it, and then sign it off and archive.

Cons

Nothing for me at this stage! Everything is working as it should in the way I need it to in this current job role.

Friendly interface

Pros

This program is Easy to use overall , with a nice and beautiful interface.

Cons

The lack if information on how to close a task window. Just figure it out that you can just click outside the box, and it will close it for you, instead of clicking in a DONE button (which doesn't exist) of at the "X" button.

A Great Tool for Tasking & Collaboration

Absolutely loving Meister Task, looking to bring my entire 20 person team on to it!

Pros

We recently started using the Business package of Meister Task and have been blown away by the UI the clear and simple dashboards and the amazing functionality! Injust a few weeks we've been able to completely reaster the way the company approaches project management across both large and small clients across multiple territories. This tool is more than useful, it has the ability to quickly become a core player in your day to day live!

Cons

Its quite pricey in comparison to others on the market. And the zapier integration limiting you to just 1 custom field definitely needs addressing but i'm sure their devs are working on that.

Stay organized and stay on time with MeisterTask!

Pros

I like how MeisterTask functions, how it is made and I like the beautiful and clean look of UI. If you need a tool for organization, task management, project management that is packed with a ton of different option search no more! I like how MeisterTask has everything that you need with FREE version, but if you want to add extra features that are there you will have to pay a not expensive fee of around 10$/month. Really great product!

Cons

No issues so far. There is sometimes a little bug on the server but they overcome it within minutes.
