Great people, great software

Pros

The people behind the software is what makes this so valuable. Is we need help with something they are only a phone call or email away. They always get back to me the same day. I love this kind of support.

Cons

The needs of our business keeps changing, keeping up with these changes are hard and sometimes take longer then I would like. I know the developer of the software are working hard to implement the changes.

Love this Company!

I came from one of those larger companies, that promise everything and delivered nothing. Since I have been with Liverez they have always been upfront and truthful. If something didn't work they let me know. For me business is more than just business, I want a family relationship. The people that care about you more than there bottom line and want us all to succeed.

Pros

Ease of setup and support doing so. Use of the software is very hands on and if not support is always there. Support is huge for us as we had none with our old company.

Cons

I came here as they are an all in one, as time has gone on they have branched out(which I am excited about) but my cost has gone up adding all these other systems to run my business. However, if I want the top of the line everything, one company can't do it all. I am thrilled with all they do, and glad they allow other businesses to work together with us.

Good Overall Product

I have not had any major problems with liveRez.

Pros

It is a fairly simple process for making reservations

Cons

To set things up or change things is difficult to do when you cannot get thru to the help desk quickly.

Live Rez Review Call Center

My overall experience with Live Rez is good. We work with over 10 PMS in our company and this is one of the easiest to use and naviagate.

Pros

Live Rez is easy to use. You can load the system however your organization plans to use it. You are able to add home descriptions and any information the agent will need to assist with booking reservations. You can also change setting to fit your company needs. It is user friendly.

Cons

The least think I like about Live Rez would be locating property addresses. I feel like this can be set up easier. In order to locate property address, you are only able to look for the reservation grid, which means if I have the actual reservation pulled up, I have to leave the reservation and locate the home information. It should be able to be accessed from the reservation screen.

It's all about the team that supports the product!

Our experience has been awesome. We love the company, the the support and engineering staff, and everyone we've had the pleasure of meeting or working with. I don't think we could have made a better choice for a platform to support us and out growth.

Pros

The team behind the product! There is a real partnership between us and the software pros that created the platform and maintain it.

Cons

Some of the functions are a bit outdated and cumbersome, but effective. This might be a real hinderance if there wasn't an awesome support team to help navigate thru it.

Reasons for Switching to LiveRez

I found the features and benefits, for the cost, to be most affordable. Liverez was the only software company that offered to partner with us - meaning the monthly cost was related to our monthly gross instead of a flat fee which was more expensive and harder to make work. The company, its' [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and the people we interacted with were way more friendly, down-to-earth, and "family-like" right from the beginning. We still love Liverez and its' amazing people!

Looks great, sounds great, full of holes

They don't take the time to finish what they start, always off to the next shiny object, but they never seem to complete the one they started. Modules cost extra. They have a small base of users that make direction decisions without the broader input or consideration. This is typical of their management. Management focus isn't in the right direction.

Pros

The dashboard for recent bookings, updating reservations.

Cons

Accounting system is full of holes (additional module you have to pay for), reports don't match owner statements, labor intensive - LiveTrust is a major issue. It takes 20 clicks to enter one expense into an owner statement. Broken. We have to manually back taxes out of reservations from Airbnb because they didn't finish the software with the user in mind, and it has been years.

LiveRez is the best software on the market!

My overall experience with LiveRez has been wonderful. From using the software as the GM of another company to setting up my own company with LiveRez, I have found the software and the team to add extreme value to my life as a vacation rental manager!

Pros

I have several favorite features; the website, trust accounting system, the calendar. Everything is easy to navigate and presents very well.

Cons

The only con is within the integration with Airbnb. There needs to be a way to import external OTA calendars to Airbnb to avoid double bookings without having to use a channel manager.

Not ready for the market

The people are pleasant, but I am more interested in a system that works as expected

Pros

Website is very professionalAuto emailsGreat potential

Cons

-Huge learning curve-Lots of bugs-Must export data to make sure things are running smooth with your reservations (for example if a reservation is made online and the cc declines you have to run a report to catch it because it approves the reservation and puts it due on the day after check-in)-Double enter property information to use the work order portion of Live Rez-Only one owner can see statements-The legacy system is not hidden causing confusion for those not using the old system-Help files are outdated-Help files do not show many aspects of the system-You cant change a guest on a reservation-You cant have weekday vs weekend rates-You cant send a quote while setting a hold (we have to manually type the quote when the system has all the information it needs to make a quote)-Esign for waivers doesnt work as a docusign should (no way to tell what is still outstanding)-No way to merge guest so to try to find a reservation you have to go into many guest records to find the one you need-Limited reports-Some reports do not work-Tickets with proven issues left open for months at a time-Community boards left with many unanswered questions.The list goes onI am invested and cannot change systems. I am hoping they start fixing issues instead of adding new features.Do your diligence in the software review of Live Rez. I cannot recommend it, I have spent countless hours trying to prove issues and trying to find workarounds.

Liverez was a great all inclusive system.

Great property management software

Pros

I like the way you were able to easily sync in all regarding to your guests and the properties they would be staying at. Everything was very straightforward and easy to follow up with.

Cons

I did not like that they do not offer calendar syncing to other websites. They need to modernize this aspect of the software.

LiveRez has great potential however they are behind competitors

The design is great however many bugs that randomly affect all property management users at the same time. Example: all CRM emails went out to all of our clients at once versus the rule that was set up. We are talking about thousands of emails from our company alone which caused lots of frustration both from our guests, employees and owners.

Pros

LiveRez's design of the software is great and is very easy to use! Training new employees is a breeze.

Cons

It takes a very long time for any changes to the software to be made once they are given to LiveRez. The software is the same from several years ago which is pushing companies to other software such as Streamline.

Life & Time Saver

I highly recommend!

Pros

The website that was designed for my company is very attractive, has streamlined processing and very user friendly. I went from page EIGHT to page ONE within one week from the time of launching on all of the main search engines. The results were immediate as I not only have retained all of my clients, my homeowner/client base increase has doubled every year so far. The guests that use the system are always giving compliments with varying degrees, ranging from attractiveness, ease of use and efficiency. The "backside" of the website is an intricate accounting system and I am happy to say when my clients call with questions regarding accounting, occupancy, billing, etc., I have answers for them within seconds. Customer satisfaction and visibility equals retention of clientele in my book!

Training of employees is effortless as the customer service (live, videos or documentation) is excellent.

The website has more than paid for itself!

Cons

If I had to pick one or two things, I wish more bookkeepers knew how to use their system that gateways into a customized quick books. I have had to spend a few bucks to get the process functioning and up to speed. If set up correctly upon implementation and your bookkeeper is open to change, this won't be a challenge for you. So, I am not sure that this is actually a "con" of LiveRez...

I have not reached the depths of what this website has to offer!

Been with other companies and Liverez has been the best

We have been with Liverez for approx 7 years and are stoked to have a software company that is so responsive and easy to work with. There have been ups and downs throughout the years as any business has but we have found that they listen to their customers and truly try to constantly improve and make our lives as managers easier. Great Software Value

I have worked with several software systems over the past twenty plus years and LiveRez is by far, superior to all other vacation rental programs. They have worked directly with us on many unique challenges and made improvements that have simplified our accounting and operations, enhanced our internet presence which increased bookings and provided an overall more polished and professional appearance to our website and rental documents.

Wouldn't change companies!

LiveRez has been fantastic! We looked at several companies and none offered the platform that LiveRez has. Our sales have skyrocketed due to the website and ease of online booking. Whenever there is any problem (which is rare) , it is addressed quickly so that our company can get back to business! Wouldn't switch from LiveRez for anything!

Pros

It has great functionality and easy to use. It offers complete solution to vacation rentals and offers many features. The support on the other end has been awesome. Special thanks to the team for helping us transition from a different platform smoothly. 5 stars.

Cons

Overall, there is nothing I dislike. If there is one thing I can add, it would be to allow more customization on the owner's portal so owners can also run some of their own customized reports.

Couldnt be happier with my choice to become a LiveRez member

This is my 3rd year with LiveRez. I was the dinosaur that still kept handwritten books and an excel spread sheet. Have owned my small vacation property management company for 25 years. They made it easy for me to convert and I have never been techno-savy. Each problem I encountered was addressed and "Egor" and I are getting along just fine now. I have a manual that I can refer to and if I can not figure it out, I get immediate response from support. They have been very patient with my learning a new trick being an old dog. It has eliminated the human error factor. End of month statements are my favorite. I can close the month and have my owners checks in the mail in half a days work and know that they are accurate. I only have about 25 vacation properties and 5 long term and the amount that I pay per month is very fair as far as I am concerned. I thought I would miss the personal contact with my renters that I have always enjoyed when they called to make their reservations but the ease of on line booking has become a great feature. I still am able to stay in contact and keep those personal relationships alive. I have a large repeat business and some still just want to make their reservations with me by phone. It works!

Pros

LiveRez offers so many features and one of the best parts is their team who helps you set up your company with the software to make sure your are going to succeed!

Cons

The software is complex with a lot to learn but this is also what makes LiveRez an amazing software. It is all in 1. This is why they offer such a supportive implementation process to give you the time needed to learn it all.

Unsure where to start - seriously

Liverez from day one transformed our business. Every step of the way every person on their team changed our lives. From transitioning to a new website, to a new CRM, to integration with quickbooks accounting, to completely automating our entire business from start to finish. And when we went with Pointe Central electronic locks remotely accessible, it allowed us to grow to new markets, not to mention the improved guest experience. No keys - yes please! Finally a 21st century resolution. You wouldn't believe how lean our staff is as a result. We've never been more profitable, we've never seen more online bookings. What once was skepticism has been completely turned into fandom. They've made us efficient. They've changed our lives through streamlined processes using a team of great people and a community of partners for daily feedback to polish out every aspect of vacation rentals. I love how easy it is to use! Their representative is always such a big help when I need it, So those two together, I couldn't ask for anything more!

A great company that provides exceptional customer service

This company offers exceptional customer service. I have absolutely no complaints about the people on the phone, or the ones that answer the emails. They are quick, patient, kind, and funny!

My 4 star review of Ease of Use is that the system can be a tad tricky. However, we were thrown into the system from start to finish and in the peak season no less, so we had a pretty steep learning curve, but I do believe that was more our fault than anything LR could have done differently. I would suggest (as did they) that you watch the webinars, do the training, etc., at a time that isn't high stress. All the tools were there for us, but we just flat didn't have time, we had to get up and running, as in yesterday! HA!

I thoroughly enjoy my adventures with these people and this company. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them and feel that they are always striving to become better and are always making sure that I am along for that ride.

More than just the Best Vacation Rental Reservation System!

In 2003 we started out as a Home Watch company for vacation home owners in beautiful North Idaho. When we decided to start also renting vacation homes sometime in 2009 we researched and interviewed a huge list of website designers and reservation system providers. After over 1 year of research LiveRez.com hands down was our best choice and offered every thing we needed...and more! We joined LiveRez in early 2010 and had I known how helpful and professional LiveRez would be in the beginning and now 3-1/2 years later I would have partnered with them much sooner!

I also would like to add that LiveRez is constantly improving and I am very happy with how they handle improvements and upgrades.

Great tool for success

If you are a vacation rental manager, I highly recommend using LiveRez over the competing software. I've been through the worst and now I am happy to say that we are very proud to use the best.

Pros

- Easily updated content and SEO characteristics.
- Robust reporting allowing for highly detailed revenue projections and forecasting
- beautiful layout designed to increase conversion of web bookings

Cons

If I had a con, I would report it to the LiveRez Partner Success team and they would do their best to resolve the issue as fast as possible.

Stellar Company

Pyramid Peak Properties with almost 90 properties now has been with LiveRez since 2009 without any glitches what-so-ever. This company clearly produces software the customer, owner and property manager find straight forward and easy to use. Throughout every step of their innovative advancement LiveRez takes the time to make sure their product works and is what the client demands.
There is really nothing I can say bad about this company as their personal service will handle any problems or education needs that may arise. Being a partner with LiveRez has put me at the top of my competition.

As a seasoned businessman and previous owner of a software company, switching my operations to LIVE REZ was one of the best decisions I've made.
