About Salon Tracker

Salon Tracker is designed to help hair and beauty salons, tanning centers and spas handle appointments, payments, client records and more. It allows administrators to directly accept booking requests from websites or Facebook pages and automatically update booking details across built-in calendars. Features of Sales Tracker include stock management, client records, graphical charts, custom reports, no-show alerts, commission management and more. The point of sale (POS) system enables employees to process online payments, track inventories and maintain customer relationships. It enables organizations to collect and store customer details such as birthdays, photos, appointment preferences, purchase history and more on a centralized platform. With Salon Tracker’s marketing module, stakeholders can send promotional messages or rebooking reminders to clients via SMS notifications. Pricing is available on a monthly subscription and support is extended via phone, email and other online measures.

It’s Simple

Pros

I am the least technical person, but salon tracker is so easy to you.

Cons

There were a couple of small issues initially but the remote assistance is fantastic, so everything got resolved on the spot. There’s not much to fault really.

Love it so far!

Overall I've been so impressed with salon tracker. It's got everything ive needed to set up my tanning business. Im amazed everyday by how well it integrates with my tmax, card reader and much more. It's enabled us to provide a quick, seamless and professional customer experience. Being able to operate the whole studio from salon tracker really is great.

Pros

Operating our sunbeds using Salon Tracker is super quick, easy, professional and seamless. Equally the thumbprint and card reader integrations are fantastic and make for seamless transactions. Customer support on hand and remote connect is great.

Cons

I feel like this software has room for some improvement to be even better . Examples include:- clearer/larger user interfaces for easy info input. Sometimes it can look very overwhelming and complicated to less experienced members of staff.- integrations with our personal website so bookings could also be made on there and pulled through to the calender- feature where you can mark deposits as not yet paid(eg if a customer comes in with cash later) without having to cancel them off - sometimes some members of staff with customer support didnt seem to know what they're doing and when ive spoken to other people theyve been much more helpful and really great. Sometimes it feels like the person im speaking to isnt 100% familiar with how to do everything.

The HideOut

It's ok. I have had multiple account managers and it's very limited support within office hours.

Pros

The ability to see the columns for all staff on a daily, weekly or monthly view.

Cons

The fact we have to pay add ons for SMS reminders and email marketing. The online booking system also needs finessing as it doesn't look finished.

Great software, great support team!

I’ve used salon tracker since it hit the market. It’s an important tool for my business which has helped me open further locations. Linked with the T maxx timers it has helped ensure the security of the day to day operation of each salon

Pros

The software is easy to use, meaning minimal training is needed for new staff members.
The support team is amazing. They are patient and helpful even when issues aren't directly related to the software. They’re also proactive in looking for areas of improvement in new releases. Unlike other software I have used salon tracker has constant investment and improvement.
The system make the operation of the business a lot more secure which gives confidence when employing new staff members.

Cons

I don’t really have any negatives as it makes the everyday running of the business much easier and secure.
Price wise my package is at the higher end of the scale but again needed so I can manage the software remotely using the HQ

I moved over to Salon Tracker from other software. The whole migration process to SalonTracker was seamless, the tech team took over and migrated our customers on to Salon Tracker in no time at all. Everything about Salon Tracker has been amazing. The support my team and I have had from [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is second to none, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been there, every step of the way. We have made endless calls to her. She has always been on hand to help, nothing is too much trouble for [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. Excellent service for an excellent system

Our experience has been completely hassle free. No question is a stupid question and we never feel like an inconvenience when needing assistance.

Pros

As a new salon owner, setting up a system to use was very daunting. [sensitive content hidden] has helped no end and explained things so clearly at any point we needed it. Sometimes even explaining the same thing over again when we had forgot how to do something. Salon Tracker makes the daily running of booking in clients, keeping records, stock take and much more, so much easier. It has everything you need in one syste.

Cons

Only one thing is having to pay additionally to send sms to clients, It would be nice to have it included in the monthly price

Amazing and helpful

I honestly love salon tracker and it has help my business grow so much and help me from day 1.

Pros

It’s so easy to use, I can access all of my data including customers minutes and dates and time of when they have used our services which makes it super easy to fix mistakes and complaints.

Cons

I wish salon tracker was more customisable such as having a section for discount codes and having an app for each salon to have personal to them.

Brilliant

An absolute winner for our tanning salon

So happy I decided to go with salon tracker. The whole system works great for our tanning salon. Customer service team are super friendly and always helpful. I do t think I could run the salon efficiently without this system in place. Saves time and money having a system in place with great reporting features. Highly recommend!

Pros

Easy to use, fantastic reporting facilities and overall picture on how the salon is performing. Certainly helps to accurately report peak times and customer trends. Customer service from salon tracker is first class and always friendly

Cons

I can honestly say that I haven’t had any bad experiences with this system. I’m not over confident with computers, but this program and system is so easy to use, I really can’t find any fault

MMV Nails

Once trained on the system - which takes a while to master, it has been so valuable in our business of hairdressers, beauty and tanning. The system encompasses all of these aspects and diaries and staff are so easy to keep track of.

Pros

Booking clients in is so easy. Booking sunbeds and controlling them from Salon Tracker is so easily integrated to the Sunbeds T Max Controller. Reports can be easily gathered, this gives an insight to staff, products, and income generated. Support is available and the staff are amazing and extremely knowledgeable.

Cons

Not too easy to learn the different aspects of all the elements within the system. It took a while, however support is amazing. A few teething problems with elements not working properly, but the helpline sort this out in no time.

Company itself is great, great customer service and setup help

It cant integrate with facebook unless you have 2000 likes

Easy software to use, excellent customer service

Pros

Easy to navigate around the system for both staff and management. Text reminders are brilliant for clients and have reduced no shoes!

Cons

You need to put in all you services individually and then can't delete old services or if prices change you also then need to add them again unless I'm doing things incorrect?

Easy, Efficient, Reliable.

Pros

Everything is one place. Options of adding Nails, and treatments. I like that I can incorporate the TMAX and track minutes via the software.

Cons

It freezes often and is quite slow to start. When on the staff account using the TMAX system, it doesnt give me (the administrator) the option to remove the 'unconfirm' button for customers using the sunbeds. I would like this to avoid staff using minutes and deleting then.

Easy to use

Good overall experience. They sort problems quickly (but obviously not available weekends) absolutely brilliant during lockdown with the suspension of our account payment. And again was there to get us back open again and 3 months reduced on our monthly payments. This has been a god send as we has a tanning business have missed out on our very busy months.

it is easy to use and we can always get good help if we need it

Cons

We are open 7 days but we can't get help on weekends which can be troublesome. We can't do a booking system (needed one after re opening after covid)as we need all customers emails. Wish it could be done another way.good

Salon tracker review

Easy to get hold of somebody during working hours but if something goes wrong outside of these hours you are a bit stuck

Pros

It’s is easy to use once you know how and it is very easy to book in our sunbed customers and keep track of their usage and purchases

Cons

It can crash or freeze from time to time

Exemplary service as always

Fantastic service by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], helped me with setup on a new machine and encountered many issues and the girls took it upon themselves to take responsibility of the task and made sure it was all working correctly and also were very thorough in making sure we were comfortable with all features and services available.

The only salon software you need.

The ease of customer records for treatments and courses.
During the COVID drama they couldn’t have been more helpful with pausing subscriptions and the a discount when we were able to re-open.
Excellent customer service in challenging times.

A must have !

The overall experience with salon tracker has been very positive i would recommend to other buissnesses.

Pros

The software is easy to use. The customer service is brilliant. They are there to help anytime. The reports part of the software is brilliant to see where your buissness is doing well and where you need to work on.

Cons

There is not many cons to the software. Somtimes out fingerscanner doesnt pick up the fingerprint straight away but that is seperate hardware not the software.

Can’t be without Salon Tracker!

So many benefits to having Salon tracker in our Salon. Things are more organised, I can keep track of stock, sales & marketing campaigns all in the same place. The team at Salon tracker are always done helpful and don’t ever seem fazed when I first set up and was constantly calling with queries or advice. Lovely customer service!

Pros

Very easy to use. Love the marketing module which allows you to text customers with offers etc.

Cons

Would like to be able to text individuals off the system for example if they have left something behind

Pros

I find the customer service very helpful when there is a problem. There were a lot of things about the system that were not very easy to use when comparing it to shortcuts which I used to use, but the team have modified the system to make it a little easier

Cons

we have come across a lot of problems with the system.
clients have been sent text message reminders that are wrong.
You cant get individual stylist end of day sheets, my staff are self employed and the only way they can see what they have made on a certain day is by printing everyones end of day which people do not want other members of staff seeing their income.

Salon Tracker Review

Good

Pros

The ease of booking clients in, display looks good too.

Cons

Customers cannot text back to the messages we send.

Thank you for your review, we are very pleased that you find it easy booking clients in and like the way the software is displayed.

With regards to customer's not being able to send texts back, the software is like that due to feedback about it being easier if clients cannot reply as it saves staff working out of hours and makes it easier to manage.

This may be something we look at in the future to amend for those that want it.

We have had salon tracker for a while now. The technical team are always happy to help.

Simple to implement in initial development of business.
Cost effective.
Options to add certain features

Pros

Basic features.

Best way to run a tanning salon

We have been using Salon Tracker since we opened our new Tanning Shop. Its a great way to provide your customers with best experience. Your customer can buy anything from 3 Minutes to over a hundred minutes. The customer can be book in in just a few seconds, and they are ready to use the Tanning Bed. From our point of view we have good financial control

Excellent software and customer service

Extremely happy. Whenever I have phoned there has always been someone there to answer and assist. The software has never been down, and then over Covid times the company froze subscription to help assist me financially.

Pros

The ease of it is fantastic. There is always someone on the phone to talk through issues/train staff members up.

Cons

Nothing. There was a report that I wanted from the system and salon tracker personally made this over several weeks to cover my request. Fantastic service!!

Sunbed Salon user

Good communication and service. Help is just a call away, consultants can interact with your system and give one to one training.

Pros

Easy to use and customer friendly. The finger print reader is fab. We found improvements to business by using the SMS text service .

Cons

It took us a while to initially set up as we used paper form prior.

Amazing does everything

Best software I’ve ever used easy to navigate and helps me get the best from my business while tracking staff progress too

I love how it gives amazing statistics measures sales of each staff members for me to set targets. And is easy to use for staff

Cons

I would like more mobile access to add customers and courses. Also to be able to extend all courses myself.

Easy To use & Affordable

I have been using Salon Tracker in my Salon for several years now. We use it for Hair, Beauty and Sunbeams. Works really well. Simple to use. There is always someone at other end of phone also if any problems occur

Ive had salon tracker in my salon for 6months now & have not ever had one problem. If anything I was not sure on the team are just at other end of the phone and always get any query/problem sorted.

Pros

The pro of the overall software is that you can set it up to suit you & your business with the constant support from the salon tracker help team.

Cons

The SMS text messages are quit dear in price & also the monthly cost is also quit dear.

Perfect system

We used to use a paper card system before moving to salon tracker, so it’s move out lives a lot easier and business more efficient and professional

salon tracker review

All in all a good system and very helpful

Pros

The software is a user friendly management system with great features and easily changeable features.i have been very impressed with there customer service and help feature. being new to the beauty sector they helped me learn the system and run my business smoothly

Cons

There is one feature that they should incorporate in there system. when the app is downloaded they should include a employee login in which they can create booking and send them automatically to the salon/shop so the salon can receive booking remotely from there employees

Good starting software

Overall it’s a great starting software although I would change to something else that can progress with me business.

Pros

It’s easy to use once you are set up and know what you are doing.
The team who help you when there are issues are amazing! They sort things out straight away for you.

Cons

Salon tracker

Overall an easy and useful system but not without its issues. However customer support is great staff are patient and friendly. Our main issue is that Saturday is our busiest day and if we have any issues we cannot contact anyone until Monday.

My experience

I like salon tracker but there are a a few small tweaks that I would make to make it perfect for use in a busy salon with staff .

Pros

Option to offer any amount of minutes on Sunbed over two minutes

Cons

The cashing up could be better like the one I use in my other salon . Also it gives the beds back for use before they have been cleaned and reset . This woukd be better if the beds had to be reset on the Tmax timer in the room after the bed has been cleaned .

Professional Service

I love salon tracker would never go back to paper cards, I love the fact you can go right back to all the history from when a customer signed up

Pros

It is very easy to use, also any problems your straight on hand to solve the problems, also a professional service

Cons

Still lots to learn but that's down to having time myself and if there are any problems over the weekend it is difficult to solve problems

Essential Software for any tanning business

Keeping track of customers is so much easier and quicker with this system than traditional methods such as token boxes. So much more professional too

Bronzing Room

I love how I can track the usage o f minutes at a glance, and the way it links with my Tmax and starts the bedsAutomatically is brilliant!

Pros

Love its Simplicity, very good when training new staff as it isn't complex

Cons

The fact that I can only have it on one device. I don't have time to look at reports etc in work as customers are there. It would be ideal. To be able to sit at home after work with my laptop and analysis reports and print them off!
