Any prescription, including EPCS (Electronic Prescribing Controlled Substances), can be sent electronically on iPhone, iPad, or the Internet with our eRx functionality. Lab orders can be submitted electronically to over 40,000 labs around the United States, and results can then be directly uploaded into the patient’s chart. Vital Flowsheets give providers the ability to create baseline health data and monitor each patient’s health measurements over time. Providers can use the Free Draw function to annotate on diagrams, x-rays or other files; they can also use the iPad's built-in cameras to take pictures and embed them in the patient's record. The system comes pre-populated with billing codes and is integrated with Box, a HIPAA-compliant cloud storage system. For medical practices looking to outsource their medical billing, DrChrono offers an RCM (revenue cycle management) service powered by our team of billing experts that can improve clean claims rates and get claims paid faster. Providers can also take advantage of DrChrono’s integrated telehealth software that allows users to conduct appointments from anywhere with no additional downloads. Easy to use program with great support

Pros

I love how very self explanatory Dr. Chrono is. I find it very easy to navigate from reporting to scheduling. The support staff is very responsive and attentive for any and all questions. Any time I needed assistance I received responses promptly. Every staff member that I spoke with always took the time to show me step by step instructions and were always available for follow up questions down the road.

Cons

The biggest problem that my clinic has run into with this software is that we have three different doctors in our practice that each have there own ways of taking payments, but because we only have one license for Dr. Chrono is hard to know which doctor the patient owes money too considering they see all three. We have worked around the problem, but it's very time consuming.
Also the reporting was very minimal but has gotten better through the years

I highly recommend

In my experience, this is great software and it’s easy to use. I deal with medical records everyday and it keeps me on my toes

Pros

This is great to use for anyone that has to deal with medical records. It helps keep you organized

Cons

I didn’t notice anything that I didn’t really like about it because it was so helpful for me

Poor customer support and lack of respect to your current clients

Very poor support system. Takes them 3-5 business days to respond to a simple issue. Billing system is also very poor.

Pros

The scheduling is ok but everything else is hassle.

Cons

I hired a doctor and for me to add him i had to sign the contract for 1yr. He quit within 2 months, now they wanted me to continuously pay for the monthly premiums despite the fact he's gone and there's no use there. So image paying $$600/month for a provider who's no longer practicing. After speaking to their executive team, [sensitive content hidden] stated it would be a breach a contract which is complete bullshit. very disappointed

No Resolution

Terrible. They are not communicating with each other and keep saying “we have a ticket xxx open and we will get back with you”…when I think I’ve communicated with someone and resolved my issue, someone else comes back with a new ticket #, and it starts all over again….

Scheduling part and ability to store reports

Inability to talk to a person or directly email a person. Even the chat feature is automated. About to have to close my companies doors because of the economy, and have been trying for almost 6 months to get out of my contract (I’ve been in for 10 years), and during the attempts, they renewed my contract for another year and are saying I need to pay another year’s fees to cancel. I can barely make ends meet and I’m the only one working here and I cannot cancel…

I can finally breathe

Overall experience has has been great! [sensitive content hidden] who who worked me to set everything up was a wonderful instructor and answered all my questions. She was accessible if I had questions outside of the instruction time. I also had another issue and they helpe me to understand to correct the issue.

Pros

Once I have used it I can navigate easily. I am srtill learning but it has been working great!

Cons

There really isn't anything I dislike. It's just learning everything. I do wish they had a user guide.
