## Reviews

### "Rapid, Reliable UX Insights Without the Research Overhead" — 5.0/5

> **Rohan** | *29 July 2025* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 8.0/10
>
> **Pros**: The ability to quickly gather unbiased user feedback without needing to recruit participants manually was a game changer. Lyssna's pre build test like the First Click, Five Second and preference tests, helped our validate within hours. the platform us incredibly easy to use, even for non-researchers and the participant panel targeting options are impressively granular
>
> **Cons**: Managing multiple studies becomes cumbersome over time, especially when collaborating across teams. There is no native folder or tagging system to organize test effectively. Also integrations with project management tool like Notion, Asana or Jira are missing this create a manual step when syncing insights with our product roadmap
>
> Our overall experience has been excellent. Lyssna helped us build a habit of user testing early and often. It’s reduced rework and design churn, while increasing confidence in our UX decisions. We’ve seen measurable improvements in onboarding flow completion rates and have been able to present real user data to stakeholders during reviews. The learning curve is minimal, and the value becomes obvious almost instantly.

### "Nice tool, great customer support, some complaints" — 4.0/5

> **Cat** | *10 February 2025* | Utilities | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Lyssna has great variety in what types of activities you can organize. It's easy to set something up and the preview works great. The layout is clean and without clutter, allowing you to focus on what you're doing. The price is affordable. Setting up a variation test was easy as well and was a very helpful feature. The customer service is also very helpful and friendly with quick response time.
>
> **Cons**: The pricing is a bit confusing, especially when you add in the existence of credits and time limits. When self-recruiting, it felt limiting to have to fit my test in a certain time-limit which was based upon the types of questions I was adding to my test. This seemed overly complicated and had me altering my test (changing or removing questions) simply to fit within whatever time-limit they gave me with the plan I was on. I don't like that I couldn't change the layout or branding of the welcome screen. Additionally, when I add an image to the instructions in the survey, it remains very small with wasted space as a colored background around the edges of it while the expand button does not do anything.

### "A Beautiful tool, but hard to leverage in practice" — 2.0/5

> **Gretchen** | *21 January 2025* | Design | Recommendation rating: 3.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Loved the research templates and how immersive you can make the prototypes. Setting up the survey was easy\!
>
> **Cons**: The sneaking price increases, ended up having to use a higher tier to just get additional questions added (Even after paying over $150 for a basic monthly tier, I was still asked to pay more money for a basic set of foundational set of questions). I felt like I was scolded for not paying additional fees to leverage their own internal user testers instead of the ones that we recruited in-app, which is a backwards process.
>
> Disappointing. Their customer service is responsive and fantastic, but that doesn't out compete their inflexible product pricing models. Additionally working across locations was painful and if you don't close all of your tabs out between teammates, it's a good chance you will lose all of your work and rebuild the study from scratch.

### "Lyssna: Great unmoderated research tool" — 5.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *6 November 2025* | Computer Software | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: This is super easy to set up for unmoderated tests. I can go from idea to feedback in under an hour. It has great variety of test types, which is perfect for validating UI decisions quickly. There's clean reporting visuals that make stakeholder communication easy, and it integrates SO well with figma
>
> **Cons**: Analytics are good but not deep, I'd like richer sentiment tagging. Pricing can scale quickly if you run frequent testing with large panels. No built in moderated testing or live interviews. I wish there was more UI customization for the tagging.
>
> Lyssna is fantastic for quick, lightweight validation during the design process. It's not meant to replace in depth user research, but for early-stage concept testing or fast iteration, it's on of the most efficient tools in my UX stack

### "Quick and easy way to get the pulse of your product" — 5.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *7 January 2026* | Nonprofit Organization Management | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Lyssna is quick and easy to use. They have put visible effort into the user experience. The tests you can do are presented as an attractive menu with a short description. These tests can then be easily combined into larger tests, combined with a suite of question types, so you can get further details from the user.
>
> **Cons**: Despite its many advantages, it is meant for small-scale work and not larger research projects. The ability to source your own participants is useful, but the Lyssna-provided panel can be spotty sometimes, with people who are clicking through as quickly as possible and giving random characters as question answers.
