Great Option for Students and Teachers

Pros

Really good product for sharing notes, classworks, homeworks, and assignments, with students or your team. Can create separate groups for separate subjects, and the submissions can be graded and commented online too. All the files are organized according to the groups.

Cons

Not really much con here as a student. But the UI seems a bit too simple, it could be worked on in the future.

Google Classroom Archive Downsides

It's seamless for when you use it, but I feel like it adds extra clutter to my workspace in the long run. I don't need things from 5 years ago in an archive. If I do go in to a class from years past, it just seems a big jumble of old classes. I wish I could nest them or something (similar to email folders). Maybe you can, but it doesn't seem intuitive.

Pros

I really like the ability to add kids to a class and send out one link and have everything covered. It cuts way down on communication with kids and parents. Most times I don't even send anything out; they know the classroom after they enter the verification code, and they can go to the page on their own to see what it is that I have added.

Cons

I don't like how it never deleted your old classes but instead archives them forever. You can hide them, but I'd like the ability to just delete them.

Great in theory, awful for actual classroom use.

Awful. Parents can't see grades. Students get confused about where to find content. It doesn't automatically make a copy of docs for students.

Pros

I love how easily I can link it to Google Docs and how I can store feedback comments.

Cons

The ways in which to organize content is greatly lacking. The gradebook glitches and there are minimal ways to grade/label content that has been submitted.

useful, better than expected.

I started using this tool shortly after the Covid pandemic, since we were all given Gmail business accounts and asked us to use all the resources present there. The truth is that I started with some mistrust since I used other tools to carry out my cognitive stimulation workshops (and I was already quite used to them), but the result of using Google Classroom was satisfactory, since it made life easier for my students and their parents (they did not have to make extra accounts and they could enter with their gmail emails) and also allowed me to constantly monitor the activities since I always I have my phone at hand and I have all the Google apps installed.

Pros

- You don't have to create a new account, as you can use it with your GMAIL account
- Information can be shared in different formats, meetings can be scheduled and held virtually.
- Classes, notes and assignments can be accessed from any device.
- Allows for selective assignment of tasks.
- And most importantly, it is completely free.

Cons

- You must be updating the feed manually since it does not do it automatically and that can be a big problem.

Google classroom the best and most efficient learning platform

Overall it is a greate experience i would definitely recommend, it is free to use and it leave me with a google impression so i will continue to use.

Pros

I love using google classroom for online classes it is easy to use,no tutorials needed and it integrates well with other important software that you will need to make life easier such as google drive, google sheets, google docs on so on. You can access on multiple devices so if your late you can login in on your phone.
Everything is in one place, it is hard to lose track of your assignments, classwork, discussions and very importantly you can easily submit your assignments without needing to send it to the teacher's direct email. It can also reminds you of your assignments, you cannot losing your work so no need to worry about forgeting to save your info, Google classroom have so much good that it's hard to list everything all at once, but all i can say is I love this using this app.

Cons

I didnt like that i couldnt privately message my teachers on google classroom all comments were public. Ao if i wanted to message privately i had to email the teacher or whatsapp.

Google Classroom Helps First Year College Students Develop their LMS Skills

Extremley positive experience and because we have Google Workspace for our company, it works seamlessly with the other Google Tools. We use Google Classroom to manage our 3 week summer cohort experience. The goal is to provide tools and organization around the classroom setting we create for incoming first-year college students. It keeps the teaching team organized, and provides students with a simulated Learning Management System (LMS) so they start to understand what to expect from their professors at college.

It provided me with the ultimate classroom learning structure and is extremely user-friendly.
Third-party educational tools like Kahoot, Edpuzzle etc. can be easily integarted within Google classroom.
Teachers can streamline assignments, materials, homework etc very easily.
This is a highly secure database by Google for the users with excellent customer support.

Cons

The Practice sets on Google classroom could also be refined and made more teacher friendly with possibilities for adaptions for students.
Availing a better and detailed version of the google classroom for parents could be further beneficial as currently Google classroom is more focused on only teachers and students.

Very Satisfied

I have been using Google Classroom for the past 4 years as a student, during my Bachelor's and Master's Program. It is very easy to use, very accessible, very convenient and it has all the features a student or a teacher can wish for.

Pros

Uploading the assignments was definitely one of my favorite things, as it was very easy to submit my work and keep track of the deadlines. I must also mention the share screen feature which many times made the course easier.

Cons

It is not necessarily a con, but something I personally wish it got improved. I would love to see more layout options and customization for both the working space and the online meeting.

Very appropriate to organize and support classes

My experience with Google Classroom has been very good. During the time of coronavirus, it helped me take my classes when they had to be online. In my case, I must say that, before it happened, I was already using the platform as my main aid and organization method in the classroom. Google Classroom allows teachers to organize their classes in a more personalized way. In addition, it allows particular curricular adaptations to be made.

Pros

Google Classroom is great for teachers. It allows them to organize their classes in a more appropriate way taking into account new technologies. In my case, I make videos and presentations (with other programs) and then use them in the classroom. During the time of coronavirus, the program was my lifeline as a teacher. Google Classroom allows you to organize classes and include complementary materials. Plus, it's great that you can assign different activities to different students. In this way, depending on the level, you can prepare materials that best suit specific students. The option to send activities for students to do is also very good. There are many options, such as sending tests and writing more text activities.

Cons

I think that the activities section, although good, can be improved.

"Efficient and Accessible Google Classroom"

My overall experience using Google Classroom has been positive. It has a simple design, easy interaction with G Suite products, and effective assignment management. Communication and collaboration are expedited, but customization is limited, and internet connectivity is occasionally required. Despite a few small limitations, it has significantly facilitated the teaching and learning processes.

Pros

Pros: Google Classroom offers educators a user-friendly interface and integrates easily with G Suite apps such as Google Drive. Its effective assignment management system allows for the creation, distribution, and grading of assignments within the platform, which improves workflow. It serves as a communication hub, facilitating announcements, feedback, and conversations while encouraging collaboration. The digital format encourages organization, minimizes dependency on physical resources, and provides simple access from any place. Teachers can provide prompt comments and assessments, thereby promoting student learning.

Cons

Cons: To begin, there are few customization choices for assignments and course formats, which may not fit the needs of all educators. Second, it is dependent on regular internet access, which presents difficulties in locations with inadequate connectivity. Users who are unfamiliar with Google's products will also face a learning curve. Data collection may raise privacy concerns, particularly among minor pupils. Finally, while it interacts seamlessly with G Suite, it may encounter compatibility concerns with third-party programs.

Good software to host both live and recorded courses

So far I use Google Classroom as my number one solution for my team, although it lacks a bit in integration and communication features, it still presents an easy-to-use solution to host the training tracks.

Pros

Turning live sessions into recorded courses was easy, managing the courses and adding material throughout the training track was straightforward and it was generally easy to manage the team's progress through the process.

Cons

There was no way to interact directly inside Google Classrooms without integrations with Google Meet. Also, there is a lack of integration with other solutions from outside of the Google ecosystem.

Google Classroom is an excellent extension of face-to-face classes

My overall experience was very satisfactory. I used the classroom throughout 2020 up to and including 2021. The first year, during the pandemic, we adapted super fast and we could have the classes in an interactive way and without latency, interface or platform errors. The second year we handed in the assignments and exams through the platform and it was much more optimized to see the grades and notes made by the teachers. It became an extension of face-to-face classes, so I really consider it a platform that is here to stay if it is well used in the classroom.

Pros

What I liked most about the Classroom was the ability to make submissions, being able to see those who submitted work on time from those who were late, and being able to facilitate many means of submission, such as written file formats and being able to add links or video extensions for work that included multimedia creation.
It also made it easier to see the grades that teachers graded quickly and almost instantaneously, which was appreciated, compared to having to wait a week or two for teachers to return paper exams.

Cons

What I “least liked” could be said to be the constant notifications I received as a student from Google Classroom for any changes made by the teachers. Even when they made optional academic proposals, many times as students we received such notifications as if they were really urgent things. Also, sometimes when all the subjects were gathered in a single classroom, it could become a bit tiresome and tedious to search for files of previous activities.

A Review of Google Classroom

Pros

One of the standout features of Google Classroom is its seamless integration with other Google tools. This makes it incredibly convenient for both teachers and students to access documents, spreadsheets, and presentations directly from the platform. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, allowing even those with limited technical skills to navigate and utilize the features effectively. I particularly appreciate the ability to create, distribute, and grade assignments all in one place. The notification system is also robust, ensuring that students stay informed about upcoming deadlines and any updates from their teachers.

Cons

While Google Classroom offers a lot of great features, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The lack of a built-in calendar view can make it difficult to get an overview of all assignments and deadlines at a glance, requiring users to switch between Google Classroom and Google Calendar. Additionally, the grading system, while functional, can sometimes feel a bit cumbersome, especially when handling large volumes of assignments. Another limitation is the lack of customization options for the interface, which can make it feel a bit too rigid and less adaptable to different teaching styles and needs. Lastly, the platform can occasionally experience lag or downtime, which can be frustrating during critical times like assignment submissions.

Google Classroom Review

Overall, my experience was greatly positive. I used the product for years and never had any issues.

Pros

That it concentrated all of my homework in one place on the Internet. It allowed me to be much more organized when submitting assignments.

Cons

My least favorite feature of Google classroom was that I wasn’t able to be notified on my phone when an assignment is due.

2023 Matric Student

Could not have survived my high school carreer with Google Classroom. Due to my own prior knowledge, and Google Classrooms simplicity, I was able to take full advantage of this free tool and make the most of it for my school life. Would highly reccomend it to any school with a stable wifi connection.

Pros

1. Easy uploading for assignments
2. Beingh able to comment and speak with the teacher directly about a specfic assignment
3. Getting emails if someone updated or marked an assignment, also being able to see the mark, and the marked document on google classroom to find your mistakes and fix them

Cons

1. Sometimes documents would not upload to google classroomdirectly, so I would need to upload it to google drive first, then google classroom, making it take more time and more space on my google cloud storage.
2. Sometimes the user-interface on my iphone/ipad would not make it easy to upload/view documents that my teacher would upload to google classroom, forcing me to use my laptop. An example would be not being able to see an google doc, that a teacher as left suggestions on. Not able to see it on my ipad, but when i open it on my laptop, it works perfectly fine.

Google Classroom Features

I've been using it for more than 3 years and i never experienced this feeling of comforts during the time i was working. Its really an app/web that allows you to discover a new site full of features and different stuff.

Pros

It's really good for all type of people to be honest. It's also easy to use. Very handy for people like students or someone who needs an app that allow them to work in full comfort.

Cons

The only thing i didn't like about it was the fact that you can't leave a group if you aren't the one that created it. I would like to have a button for that issue.

Pros

Google classroom has made my life easier and has been doing it for a long time. It makes it very easy to keep a record of the work that we as a team have to share. The interface is very user friendly. Cannot think of using any other app to manage my work.

Cons

I do not like the whiteboard on google meet, the pens could be better and the way of sharing the board while on call can also be made better.

Google Classroom: Great for the Tech Teacher

Pros

Google Classroom has loads of integrations available with so many programs, and it's easy to set up to make it work with them. As a tech teacher, I rely on external web applications for most of my classes, and students can easily connect the apps to everything they need.

Cons

It's a bit rigid in what I can actually do with it. I can't get quite as much customization as I'd like. I teach in an International Baccalaureate school and it can be hard to use other kinds of grading rubrics with the existing system.

Empowering Seamless Virtual Learning Experiences

My overall experience with Google Classroom has been highly positive. It offers a seamless and intuitive platform for both educators and students to engage in virtual learning.

Pros

The most impressive aspect of Google Classroom is its seamless integration of essential features like virtual classrooms, file sharing, and real-time communication tools, all within an intuitive and user-friendly platform. It promotes collaboration, engagement, and efficient teaching practices in a digital learning environment.

Cons

While Google Classroom offers a robust set of features, one potential drawback is the limited customization options for educators in terms of grading and assessment. Some users may find the grading interface somewhat rigid and may desire more flexibility in tailoring assessments to their specific teaching methodologies.

One of the Best Online School !!!

My overall experience with Google Classroom has been largely positive. Google Classroom offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, making it easy for both educators and students to navigate and utilize its features. Also, the platform simplifies classroom management by providing tools for organizing assignments, facilitating communication, and managing student submissions.

Pros

What I like most about Google Classroom is that it streamlines the management of classes by allowing teachers to digitally organize, distribute, and collect assignments and course materials. This reduces the administrative burden on teachers and keeps everything neatly organized and the integration with other Google tools, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Meet.

Cons

What I like least is just the inability to schedule assignments for multiple classes simultaneously.

Review of Google Classroom as a University Student

Overall, it's an amazing product and I highly recommend every educational institution to use Google Classroom for their virtual classes. I hope they add the direct chat feature so you can discuss important things with your teachers and classmates.

Pros

I have been using Google Classroom I started my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. It has got everything a physical classroom has. The thing I liked the most about Google Classroom is it's ease of use. We can join different groups for different modules/subjects. The announcements and file sharing is also a very useful feature. I love how we can browse through the course contents with a lot of context and information. Also, the ability to quickly join a module's google meet session without having to find the link for it is also super useful.

Cons

I have to say that I didn't like the fact that there was no chat with classmate or teacher option available. We have to contact them through their provided emails which can be very annoying.

I really loved my experience with this site, which lasted more than two years

It was a very good experience. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs the features that the site offers. For me, some of the flaws can be overlooked in light of the amount of features available, and it does not cost the person anything.
Everything is really organized perfectly

Pros

What I loved most about it is the wonderful organization with high quality and the capabilities of bringing together large numbers in teams in a way that is not available in many other sites. It suits me in many situations, such as my studies and work, and I truly believe that any person currently, whether a student or an employee, will need it one day.

Cons

What I liked least about the site is their slow customer service and response, and I think it does not befit the range of features on the site. The last thing was that if some of the ideas on it were developed using artificial intelligence, it would be more creative, although it really is not one of the best sites for me. The best of them
