Airtable is versatile and easy to use.
I have used Airtable in my various positions, for various tasks. When working at an animal shelter, I used it to keep track of lost and found pet reports and adoption inquiries. Personally, I use it to keep track of my tax lien purchases, and in my current job, it helps me keep my projects organized and me on task.
Pros
I am using the free version for project management, and I like the way is displays and tracks all my projects, and I can sort tasks by due day, status or project.
Cons
The free version does not let you use the timeline feature for tracking projects.

Best Database for Small to Large Businesses
Overall, I have have had a positive experience with Airtable. It allows me to create beautiful dashboards for clients, quickly see my data and collect information with ease.
Pros
I like how easily I can see data no matter how large. I can sort and create various views with ease.
Cons
The only thing I don't like is how it is priced for letting people comment or edit. I use this a lot with my clients. I don't want to have to pay for each client just so they can leave a comment.

Airtable is a flexible and powerful tool for milestone
. I appreciate that Airtable allows me to integrate with other tools and apps, such as Zapier, Google Analytics, Slack, and more, to automate my workflow and sync my data. I also like that Airtable enables me to share and collaborate on my projects with my team, stakeholders, and clients. Airtable is a tool that adapts to my workflow, not the other way around.
Pros
I like many things about Airtable, but if I had to choose one, I would say I like its flexibility. Airtable allows you to create and customize your own bases, tables, fields, views, and layouts to suit your specific needs and preferences.

Airtable made me shine in my legal team
I am very satisfied, and the page I worked on with the help of Airtable gave me a lot of praise from my colleges. I presume this is because my colleagues where not familiar with Airtable (they thought it was only for finance managers) and I deployed it in a new way. I made a page with a couple subpages, where my colleagues can find monthly posts with short summaries of legal news about AI. For instance, what new EU legislation was passed, how AI affects company policies, etc. Even more, my team is planning to start more projects in Airtable:)
Pros
Firstly, the fact that you can deploy your creativity and the tools provided by Airtable allow you to. Honestly, I can't compare it to other products simply because I don't know any analogs. Google tables or Microsoft excel are far more boring to work with, and most importantly, don't give you the fictionality to be as creative as you want. By being creative I mean making tables that look aesthetically pleasing (not boring like excel), nicely design interfaces of your page, link different parts of one page to another one. Secondly, the way you can collaborate with you team is on another level compared to Airtables' rivals. Another advantage is the fact that you have two different interfaces. One that is published to everybody, and the other that is open only to you. I find this very useful.
Cons
Probably the fact that the website lags sometimes. This is especially visible when I switch between pages of my published base. It takes a second-two to load the page (my internet is super fast and my Mac is brand new so that's not the reason). Also, the guide that displays templates is not very useful if you don't intend to make a page about finance, hiring or managing teams. I made a page about laws governing the use of AI, but I ended up using a template for hiring people, which is a totally different topic, as I didn't have another option. Would be cool if the company broadened the topics of the templates and had some touching the topics of: blog posting, reviewing legislation, posting news.

Great for organizing and managing projects
Airtable was versatile and useful for managing creative projects and tracking design tasks. It took a bit of getting used to, but once familiar, it really streamlined organizing work.
Pros
Airtable’s combination of spreadsheets and databases stood out, making it easy to organize and manipulate data while offering the flexibility to customize workflows for different projects.

Absolutely incredible. The ease of use and being able to create no-code apps have been a gamechanger for my organization.
Pros
I love how powerful Airtable is at managing data, while being user-friendly and not overwhelming. Also, if you need any help on Airtable, there are tons of videos and tutorials online. I like that Airtable connects to no-code app builders seamlessly and with ease.
Cons

Airtable is a MUST have for business and for life!
I love Airtable and have been a user for about seven years. I use it daily for my business and my personal life. It keeps everything organized just the way I like it. The visual customization of the tables is crucial for someone like me who is a visual learner. Now with the introduction of ChatGPT I can expand my Airtable functionality by providing scripts and formulas that I otherwise would not be able to create.
Pros
I love almost everything about Airtable. It's functionality is unmatched and I love the customization that's available. The automations are a life saver.
Cons
I hate the cost. It's unbearably expensive for a one-person business who needs to have their clients be able to use the platform. It would be easier to digest if collaborator billing was on a tiered plan or if the admin/owner price was slightly higher to avoid making collaborators billable.

Pros
- I love the list style of Airtable
- I love the card functionality where I can leave notes to my team
- The categories are useful for keeping track of what state a card is in: for example if a card is in progress vs complete
Cons

Gamechanger
Airtable started off as a useful productivity tool but has quickly turned into a one-stop shop, doing almost everything I need for strategy and tracking in one place.
Pros
I have had the opportunity to use Airtable on multiple video production teams, and it has made project/production coordination a breeze. The ability to track tasks and statuses and to have different views into project details has been incredibly helpful in keeping us on point and on budget. It is also very useful for reviewing project efficiency and profitability after the work is complete.
Cons

Taking notes and organizing activities aren't the only uses for Airtable
My workflow has improved dramatically. I made a page on Airtable to document all the endpoints and code samples while developing a new API, and made sure to share the link with the team. Development progressed more rapidly because information was widely accessible to all. The ability to see everything in one place was a huge improvement; it’s also incredibly adaptable, easy to use and packed with capabilities that meet our requirements.
Pros
Meetings, documentation, databases, frontends and backends are the constant in my life. I have all my information spread out in a thousand places: notes, documents, tasks and codes. Airtable has been a complete workspace, not just an app to take notes or manage tasks for me. I can create pages, databases, boards, lists... anything. What I need, I can do: pages, databases, boards, lists, whatever. From team sprints to technical documentation, this has helped me keep everything in one place as a developer. Also, the code integration is great: I can embed blocks of code in your notes and see them with the right syntax highlighting.
Cons
The mobile version lacks the capabilities of the desktop version, but still works well enough. Compared to using a computer, checking something quickly on my phone can be a little painful sometimes.

Airtable - the simplicity of a spreadsheet with the structured capabilities of a database
overall airtable helped our business grow exponentially not just because of its applications but it gave us the perspective about what database can do for a business and how simple it can be if we keep that way.
we used it for our app database as well, and it just worked fine bit slow but good for beta version.
Pros
What I love most: The intuitive interface makes it easy to customize views (grid, calendar, kanban, form) and build relationships between different tables. The automation features are a game-changer, saving me countless hours on repetitive tasks.
Who would benefit: Anyone looking for a more dynamic and collaborative way to manage data. It's perfect for teams of all sizes and across various industries.
Cons
One of the least best things about Airtable is its pricing. While there is a free plan, it has limitations on the number of records and storage space.
The paid plans can become expensive, especially for larger teams or those with extensive data needs. AI plans are also overpriced.
Reasons for Switching to Airtable

Pros

Cons

It is another perspective on project management.
We have this platform in mind within our company because it easily adapted to what we were looking for, which is to be able to track everything, both the management of a project and maintaining contact with clients linked to each project. The implementation of Airtable in my work environment maintains easy collaboration between work teams, it has allowed me to develop creativity by being able to enforce each guideline of a project, it is very interesting how everything is more organized with a tool like this.
It is not necessary to have deep knowledge of this type of platform, despite the fact that it has a learning curve, the interface makes the work much simpler than it seems, thus being able to easily focus on just the management of projects in a collaborative way.
Pros
It allows the visualization of projects in different ways, this flexibility helps us to make management easier depending on the preferences of each user in how they want to work. In addition, it is very easy to apply labels to each task, the reports have several formats and are very customizable. The number of platforms with which I can integrate with Airtable is another plus point, I love how I can easily connect tools from other sites which allows me to speed up my work, thus being able to practically automate my entire process of managing my projects.
The useful form function is not lacking, where I can capture data to be able to apply it within the projects I worked on and continue to work on. Also, its mobile application is very complete, it is quite useful when at specific times we need to do something in the projects and only have a smartphone available, making all the work much faster and everything is done more fluidly because everything works on the fly with the mobile application.
Cons
I must mention a con that has impacted me during the expansion of Airtable is that as more features are integrated, I have found that a learning curve has been added that was not present in the beginning of this platform. In addition, over time, the price has increased without any justification where other platforms seem more attractive and accessible since they offer the same features but maintain a considerable price for both individual users and companies of any size.
Another complaint I have about this is that it has a limitation on the size of the attached files for each base. It could be logical that depending on the plan you have, the size of the file to upload varies, but it seems that this platform does not take this into account, so regardless of the plan you get, this will be a limitation to be able to attach important files that have a size that Airtable handles. The good thing is that it accepts any type of file, so it is somewhat acceptable.

Flexible and powerful database solution with collaboration feature.
Before Airtable, our team relied on a combination of spreadsheets and disparate tools, leading to data silos and inefficient workflows. Airtable has centralized our data, improved collaboration, and empowered us to make data-driven decisions. We've been able to eliminate manual data entry, automate repetitive tasks, and gain valuable insights from our data.
Pros
Its user-friendly interface combines the familiarity of spreadsheets with the power of relational databases. We use Airtable to track marketing campaigns, manage content calendars, organize customer data, and streamline our onboarding process. I particularly appreciate the flexibility to customize views, create relationships between tables, and automate workflows.

This is the cool brother of your office package
It has been extremely beneficial and we use it absolutely every day. There are drawbacks, for sure, but once you learn how to navigate it and use this tool, it will be game-changing.
Pros
Airtable feels like the cool brother of Office packages out there. It is great for keeping track of project statuses, or the status of work left undone. It also allows you to build forms that will populate the data in their version of spreadsheet, which is highly powerful and supports some cool features, such as complex relational data structures, that usually other competitors don't.
Cons
There are a few downsides to Airtable. As a user, they could offer better reporting and analytics, this way our teams could better understand what is working and what could go better just by assessing data. Also, sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming to use its customisation options.

Big Shame...
There is no customer service, so if you're ready to use Airtable, remember that if you'll ever run into an issue, there's no one to talk to.
Pros
Overall everything works amazing. Preset automations are limited, but you have the option of scripting so that helps a lot. Depending what you want to use Airtable for, you might need to use a lot of workarounds, but does the job.
Cons
There is no customer service at all!
theres no way of reaching them and they never respond to emails or their online forms.
We had to leave them as we found an issue and needed help sorting it, but there was no one to talk to.
a few days later one of the views had a bug where you couldn't click into any linked records, we tried emailing, submitting forms, but no response (btw this happened a month ago and still no response from them). The development team had to recreate another page for the users to use instead of the bugged one.

Efficient but Frustrating
I used it at my previous company as a tracker with my team. One member who is very savvy with software set it up as it isn’t easy to get started. Once the framework was in place it served it’s purpose but any additions or revisions to the format were cumbersome.
Pros
Once set up, it’s easy to enter data and keep organized.
Cons
Hard to set up and add to. Feels daunting and frustrating to use at first, not intuitive. Takes a long time to get used to for someone with average experience.

Airtable truly is a powerful database for the rest of us.
I run our entire company on Airtable. It started small and got bigger and more complex over the years. I could not have done it with any other similar platform. A tiny bit of coding can make your life on Airtable even easier—and the best part is that ChatCPT can write those lines of code for Airtable in no time. It's a dream-come-true.
Pros
The simplicity of a spreadsheet. The power of a full-blown, but easy-to-use database.
Cons
There is a tiny bit of a learning curve, but once you've understood the thinking behind everything, it's all logical and easy.

I use it for hosting data for my backend.
Airtable has completely changed my approach to data organization. I used it to get organized for planning a large-scale event and have vendors, budgets, timelines all tracked in one place. It’s also been a godsend for helping me keep track of freelance projects, with invoices, client feedback and everything else in one central hub.
Pros
I love that Airtable has the flexibility of a spreadsheet with the power of a database. For instance, I used it to schedule a content calendar, connecting articles with deadlines, collaborators and status updates. Customizable views (grid, calendar, Kanban, etc.) allow you to visualize your data in multiple ways.
Cons
For inexperienced users in databases, they may find it more difficult to use, learning curve might be lengthy especially for links and integrations, and pricing can be high (some users find this suits luxury teams well)

Working as my database solution.
It has transformed the way I organize and manage information. It's my go-to tool for everything from project management and content calendars to customer relationship management and inventory tracking.
Pros
It is the perfect blend of spreadsheet simplicity and database power. I love how easy it is to organize information, create custom views, and build relationships between different data sets. It's like a supercharged spreadsheet with superpowers.
Cons
Airtable offers a generous free plan, unlocking its full potential with advanced features and increased storage requires a paid subscription.

Effective Record Management
Overall experience with Airtable has been excellent. Once a base has been built and records created, it provides quick and easy access to information. My uses have included home inventory, travel planning, and member/volunteer management.
Pros
Airtable allows for easy organization of data. It's simple to create a base and customize it for retention and retrieval of records and information. The ability to upload documents and include website links is terrific.
Cons
Limitations on the number of records in the free version.

Great tool for nonprofit donation drive management
I managed a nonprofit social services program that took in tens of thousands of donations per year from the public. We needed a way to to organize different "drives" we were conducting and barrels or other resources we were allocating to different companies, school, churches, or other groups that were supporting us. Airtable was a highly powerful product that provided the blank slate we needed to customize to our particular needs and use case. It greatly enhanced our efficiency and visibility into this important part of our business.
Pros
- So many different use cases -- highly adaptable to operational needs
- Tons of integrations with other products
- Mobile app is great -- very helpful for mobile workers who need to access and manage database on the go, such as a truck driver
Cons
I have nothing bad to say about this product!

Over the moon for Airtable
I'm a big fan of Airtable for managing information in an accessible and flexible way.
Pros
I like Airtable because it's easy to work with and allows a lot of customisation.
Cons
That I can't share views externally without the user getting access to the base,
