Excellent Product With Excellent Team With Great Support, So Far The Best System!!
Our company Europcar, was looking for new software few months, until we found Navotar and now we are truly grateful to find it. It is very easy to use, fast and customer interface is grate. Features that it has to offer are really endless. My management is very much satisfied having navotar on board and as our rental software partner. I can tell that customer support is one in million, every time they step up and in a minute they are ready to help. If anyone has second taught for Navotar, think no more, cause it is great value for money we get!
Pros
The cloud bases accessibility make it easier to use the system from anywhere, the mobile app is great and serves the same purpose. The team is readily available to support in case of any issues. Easy to learn & use. My team has become very efficient since we took this product. this software we are able to keep track of all the agreements, easy to pull up last previous agreements, summary of the vehicle , expense sheets , everything is very convenient.
This is the future of the car rental software in the market. Don't hesitate to start doing business with them right away. You will be impressed what their software.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking to switch their existing car rental software or even want to start a business even.

Very happy, great customer service
Anytime I need help with something the response is very quick and they will walk you though everything step by step. It was a tough decision to make to change rental software companies after using the same one for 20 years, but Navotar did a great job making this software easy to use and great customer service for anytime you need help figuring something out or changing the software to better meet your needs.
Pros
There are several features I like about Navotar. What I like most is the customer service and how quickly they respond and help solve any issues that come up. Another feature I really like is the customization available. It is very easy to add features on or make changes when needed.
Cons
I'm not dissatisfied with the software, but when we first signed up, I thought more features were included in our package. I found out they were additional pieces we needed to purchase.

We were looking for a reliable, up to date, software system that integrated newer technology that allows us to do our work more efficiently and accurately. The system is also very customizable. I would NOT recommend this program
Issues all the time, not responding to emails and sometimes it takes months to fix critical issues. In the meantime we have to work with a rental system that calculates wrong days and prices and costs us money if we not pay very good attention.

Great software with amazing support!
In one word... Phenomenal!
Pros
The support and sales staff are absolutely amazing. They aren't the type of company to sell you something that they don't back 100%! This company has hands-down the greatest customer support available in the industry (and I've tried other software - don't waste your time)! Their setup fees are higher than other companies in this industry - but the time saved is well worth the investment!
Cons
While their support is truly amazing it is advertised as 24/7 support. I don't think it's truly 24/7 but they are EXTREMELY supportive regardless! They WILL get back to you - they don't ignore you.... that is very important in the industry when a frustrated customer is standing in front of you and something doesn't work as expected (hey, it's technology, it happens to EVERYONE - even the multi-million dollar software that those big guys pay for!)

Excellent For A Quick Startup
From the beginning up to this point, we have been very happy and even with a few "wants" that could not be implemented, it has been great for the business.
Pros
It makes our rental business very easy to run. The overall customization to get the plugin for the website where we needed it was very easy through the Support communications. Having only used the software for less than 6 months, I would say that it is very easy to use, navigate around and get all of the information that is needed for the day.
Being able to customized all of the rental settings is key as our business grows over the next few years. The Support department has been very responsive since the initial 2 hours of training. The training was very in depth and got us running in the right direction.
Cons
As a rental business, we have not really run into too many issues that could not be figured out with a simple communication with Support.

Horrible! Stay away!
Horrible experience, horrible support, and they take no responsibility and do not hold themselves accountable when they make a mistake that causes clients money.
Pros
I signed up for Navotar and was moved to Rentall without notice.
Cons
Support is terrible. Monthly payment is via a foreign company and additional fees were charged by my bank. Outages caused missed reservations.

Terrible Customer Support and Incomplete Features All Over
Overall, I haven't been able to use the system as is. Very ridiculous
Pros
I liked it's pricing and interface. In the demo, it looked like an easy-to-use, turnkey solution for our Tesla rental company.
Cons
However, after paying a 4-figure setup fee, customer support started responding in 3-5 days instead of hours. I would later find out that a few features, like bulk vehicle uploads, aren't even working. Customer support has told me several times now that they would send me a working Excel spreadsheet for it, but it has been over a week now with still no spreadsheet.

Buggy software and they'll continue to take your money after you cancel your account
Completely negative. Had high hopes but they are difficult to work with. Customer service reps are friendly but their software, Rentall, is still buggy.
Pros
It has potential but some things still need to be smoothed out. This is mainly with the Rentall Software that is still in a Beta, but they don't tell you that.
Cons
After finding the software was very buggy in Safari I tried it in Chrome and it still had some issues. Setting rates is very clunky, especially when getting into Holiday rate. When asked for a refund a few days later due to the software not working, they denied it. Then, after making sure they knew I wanted to cancel, with [SENSITIVE CONTENT] personally saying he'll take care of it, my credit card was charged again 5 days later and still no notification of my account being closed.

The most disgusting experience of my life.
The worst thing about this company is that they absolutely do not know how to build communication with customers. Our letters went unanswered for weeks and months. No one seems to have read the documents describing the tasks we prepared for them. Even the documents prepared by Rentall's employees were never used for work. Sometimes after months (!) it turned out that the programmers had not read what their own managers had written. There is no quality control at all. We were repeatedly shown unfinished work and they assured us that we could start using the platform, but because of the bugs, we were never even able to make a single test booking. Our cooperation with Rentall cost us two lost years and a huge amount of money. I would not recommend working with this company to anyone.

At first we liked the relatively affordable price, simplicity and functionality of the platform.
Cons
Despite the company's advertising claims, the platform is completely unsuitable for the scooter and motorcycle rental business. However, Rentall's managers assured us that they could customize the platform for our needs. We spent two years (!), but the customization was never completed. We wrote hundreds of documents and emails, talked to the company's management, and did our best, but in vain. In the end, we came to the conclusion that Rentall simply does not have competent specialists who understand how the rental business works.

Terrible company
0verall I just wish they had not bought out Navotar and we were still using that program.
We had to switch to a completely new company and website which again we lost time and money during that transition.
Pros
This company Rentall bought out Navotar. We did not like the switch at all. Thankfully they let us continue to use Navotar until it became obsolete.
Cons
The added more steps and complicated the rental process with the new version.
Our site was infected with porn and malware, we had numerous occasions were it was completely down for various reasons. We lost a lot of money at critical times using Rentall during those times as our business is 85% seasonal. Lots of the staff that was with Navotar left after they were bought out. It was very clear that some of the developers have never been on the other side of renting cars.

I found out about Navotar by accident when researching on the competitors. Renting a car has become easier, more secure, and more profitable thanks to this software. I really like the daily planner it shows all the bookings and availability of the vehicle.

Horrible support
The software is not too bad, it is slow in performance. Customer support is out of Sri-Lanka and horrible. No one really knows much about the software, you have to talk to different agents to try and accomplish anything. I signed on in August of 2021, it is now December and I'm still not up and running and paying for the use of the software and still NOT ABLE TO USE.

Superb Software
We have been clients for three years and thanks to Navotar and its ease of use we have been able to expand in number of rental units and we have now added a Navotar reservation module to our own web page that is linked to our system, making the reservation process much easier for our clients.
Pros
We really like how user friendly this software is. We have never had any problems navigating the system and when we've had an issue customer service is always prompt to respond. We couldn't be happier with our choice of fleet management software.
Cons
We would have liked to find this software earlier as we spent a lot of money in other systems that did not work for us. There is simply nothing we don't like about Navotar.

Can't expect better than this
Excellent experience overall.
I'm currently managing the agreement tracks of our customers, maintaining their records including their information and most of all, the finance sector with the help of Navotar.
Also it gives my staff an overall idea about our fleet and if which vehicle has been booked and is ready to go.
In short, Navotar has given us a centralised system which can be accessed from anywhere I want

I never thought cloud system could be this reliable. Tried few other cloud services available on the market but Navotar stands out for all reasons.
System support is great. CSR are handling it quite professionally.
Cons
Sometimes the email system goes down,which can be tedious. But the good news is that it doesn't affect the main functionality of our work
Also I would recommend Navotar to improve their mobile apps as it could be very handy for users, I suppose.
The vehicle photos taken before Vehicle Checkout process are compressed and doesn't help alot.

Pros
The system for viewing cars, contracts and reservations is easy to use. The layout also has visualization facilities.
Cons
The accounting part we are unable to use, the reporting system is not entirely effective. I can't see numbers in a single report and I need to keep looking separately.

I feel cheated by this company. They made me pay for an entire year and they never finished...
we did not get any benefits. It was a waste of time and a huge HEADACHE. Save yourself the time and pain.

I was made to believe by the customer service reps that they had everything under control. They outsource everything, employees leave, new ones are hired and they don't know where to start.
Cons
Communication. If you ask questions they will answer until they get tired of you and push you aside. They DONT RETURN EMAILS REGULARLY AND THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE REGULARLY you have to leave a message and maybe they will get back if you dont call first.

Before signing the licence agreement itself we notified you that we need the exact specification to configure your rental agreement and we gave 30 days free trial account to you since you had complicated requirement. We never got the exact specs from you. Without the specs it is very difficult for us to assume and configure your rental terms. According to our history log we noticed that you have used the system in daily basis hence we charged you for the usage only. Easy to navigate and update the days in and out.

There is nowhere to type/add activity notes on the file
Example:
9/1 "rental covg $30 day, $500 max"
9/20 "Called customer to advise rental covg expires on Thursday"
The capability to put notes on each file/agreement would help multiple users know what is going on with the file.

This software has helped modernize our department's Transportation Services infrastructure.
Pros
This software is easy to learn and the customer support team is very responsive. Our department is very unique and the developers at Navotar have been patiently helping us modify the software to fit our needs.
Cons
Our department's Transportation Services Model is unique and it has been a process to customize the software to best serve our system, as things change all the time. Because these are software changes, it has to go through the developers first, at an additional cost. Sometimes there are glitches (i.e. users having trouble using our site on Firefox or Safari), but the customer service team is great and quick to fix them.

Base product is great but very buggy and very slow customer support. I would not reccomend
The base product is a good idea and has many useful features. In reality though day to day use of the product is buggy. Customer facing emails and PDFs are often wrong, displaying wrong pricing etc. which causes a lack of trust with our customers.
Customer support is painfully slow to respond and often responds just saying we will look into this and then nothing happens or offering to make me pay to fix things they should fix themselves.
Pros
The basis of the product is great. It has all the features you might want from this kind of software. If it wasn’t for the bugs and lack of customer support it could be great.
Cons
Many critical bugs - people cannot sign e-contracts on safari on mac or iPhone. Major problem which has existed for the 2 years we have had the software and still hasn’t been fixed. E-contracts are illegal in Hawaii, allowing for CDW to be sold without explaining it. I suggested a change for this many months ago and was offered the option to pay $2,500 to fix it. This is unacceptable. The plug-in often has issues that doesn’t let people book online. The plug-in has no Google analytics support.
The worst problem for me is the very slow and often non-existent customer support. They often respond days or weeks or even months later (even though advertised as 24/7 on their website). Critical issues which I have brought up to them are often not fixed at all and even worse they have tried to charge me to fix them.
Quickbooks integration is TERRIBLE. Do not purchase if you are looking for this. Any customers who are already in your system will not have their invoices synced. Tax rates are not matched, you cannot edit invoices once they are copied to quickbooks to fix the tax rate as it says another user is working on this at the same time. It wastes more time than doing the invoices manually.

Sadly this software was plagued with functionality failures one after the other
We have are a small growing company with 9 full time employees, gave rentall and their team our best and honest effort, invested countless hours and money on their reservation plug-in, e-conyract, billing, rental car fleet management and electronic check in check out process, adding our employees users, all at additional costs and worked with training, software engineers and technical supportdirectly as the owner of our company. They are very slow to respond, you have to communicate via email, if you call, they pull a support ticket and it's days of waiting for a simple reply. I didn't want to give up on it after putting in such time and money. We were with rentall for about a year, it was glitches and failed fixes and slow tedious software processes. The vehicle inspection was agonizing, the video and pictures were such poor quality they are absolutely useless, the steps and functionality made our employees frustrated at every step that the engineers were unable to remedy. Emails wouldn't work, the reservation plug-in kept having issues, functions would not work properly, there were constant snags. I escalated all the problems immediately through their support tickets and foolishly kept paying their monthly fees for over a year while they tried fixing bugs etc. It is unfortunately a poor software system as a whole. It shouldn't have been released at all as it seems to be an unfinished product if not a failed one. I did find a high quality product also advertised in Capterra

Good software but could use some improvements
This is a large improvement over handwriting all of our qoutes. We enjoy the software and hope we can make the changes over time to help us save more time and use more of the functionality of the software

Writing quotes is quick and easy. Easy to reference previous quotes and change them.
Cons
We are struggling with getting the online booking feature active. We have multiple changes we need to make that a phone call would help but we are forced to do ticket based corrections that with as busy as we are make it tough to finish the edits. Could use a better customer service department.

You get what you pay for
The customer support is terrible. I've been with Navotar for 7 years but since Rentall bought them out it's taken a dramatic downturn in customer support. No issues get fixed, no replies and it's really hurting my business. Also don't trust the servers they are using. Credit Card information has been stolen from my customer database before. Trying to find another solution at the moment. What a shame.
Pros
It is inexpensive and looks nice on the surface. Loaded with features but lotst do not work.
Cons
There are so many errors in the software it's hard to find where to start. The invoices don't calculate tax or the sub total properly, the payments section does not calculate the invoice totals properly, causing the agreement to stay on "pending payment" or cannot pay at all. The rental agreement does not populate the fields properly.

Navotar is awesome!
Navotar and it's team is always available to me. I send a very large amount of emails to the support team looking to have certain aspects customized for our particular business needs and every thing I have requested has been modified for us and has been done so in a very timely fashion. I have no major complaints about Navotar. There are 2 features that I would personally like to see. I would for there to be a feature that allows the notes section from a customer profile to auto pop up on the screen when that customer is selected for any reason and would also like to see the notes that are typed in on the vehicle inspection report to print out on the vehicle inspection page. Those are just preferences and overall Navotar is still a 10/10 for me.

Horrible Experience
In my opinion Navotar comes across as a very dishonest company. Somehow the great customer service magically disappears after they take your credit card information. It gets even worst when you try to get technical assistance. I've been trying for 3 years now to get a refund for a product that I have never used because of poor customer service and up to this day I have never received it. Even though the software seems to be a good solution for car rentals I would not recommend them to anyone.

Reliable solution. Using for a decade now
Overall, we are more than content with the solution. That’s the main reason which didn’t make us consider any other solutions for the last 10 years. The subscription charge is very reasonable and is worth it for the solution they provide.
Pros
We are using Navotar from the day they launched the solution. We are using the system for almost 10 years now and they never failed to meet our needs. We are using all their solutions, they developed our website with the online reservation plugin and the website is maintained by Navotar.
We started getting many online bookings once we implemented their online reservation plugin on the website. Great customer support!
Cons
We are happy with the product and services Navotar provides, but one thing we were hoping to have is a GPS solution integrated within the system. They promised they will launch a solution very soon.

Onboarding was a mess. One employee was training another employee with she was trying to train me. It was an unprofessional mess.

It is cloud based which I really liked.
Cons
I paid the ridiculous setup fee to try the system. I did not like the feel of it so I decided to cancel. They are still stealing my money on a monthly basis and will continue to do so for 90 days. This is very unethical.
