It also integrates with email provider, Constant Contact, and is HIPAA compliant with this integration, so it's easy and secure to move patient emails into Constant Contact and send marketing emails. Lastly, their customer service always blows me away. Inside the software you can chat almost immediately with the helpdesk (a real person). They usually answer within an hour if not sooner, and they check in on you to see if implementing their suggestion was helpful. > > **Cons**: The only suggestion I'd make is to add a "Waitlist" feature. I'd love a way for potential patients to share their information with me (email, etc.) even if I don't have availability for new patients in the moment. Then when an appointment time opens up, I could give them a call and see if they're available to come in. Hint hint\! > > Great experience, repeatedly. I find UP easy to use and practical. I had a website developer try to convince me to let him do some sort of integrated scheduling besides UP on my website and I was like, "absolutely not, UP has that covered." I'm like a walking UP advertisement, I cannot be convinced to switch it up. > > **Cons**: UP was hard to learn how to use at first, and actually there are a lot of features I don't use or don't find helpful. I practice in a very unique way (Worsley 5E acupuncture, Japanese palpation-based acupuncture, Classical acupuncture, and a little TCM informing them all) so I don't use many of the diagnostic tools as they're built. But I'm able to manually write in everything the way I want to and being able to upload and write on my own templates has made it all possible. I wish there was an easier way to view the chart history at a glace for a single client to show me what treatments I've already done. > > Customer service is very responsive and helpful.
