VistaCreate, former Crello, is a functional piece of software. The editor is easy and quick to use, you have tons of assets to use, the templates are quite good.

Cons

Although the asset archive is good, the searching feature is really basic. Finding the right image or vector shape becomes very time-consuming. There are no filters available. Also, the editor lacks proper positioning feature (you can't set the exact dimensions in pixel for an object on the canvas).

Could not resize my flyer. Customer service had to do it. Customer service is very inadequate. Simple questions are evaded and unanswered. Seemed inexperienced. Insulted me with suggestions that are obvious. Could not get the cart to show to print on Vista Print. Finally had to download the PDF from Create and upload it to Vista print. Seems like this program tries hard but misses the mark.

Pros

I like the variety and quality of the templates in this software. Coupled with the easy to use editor, I think this is the best image creation and design software in the market.

Some glitches with certain browsers not working all the time with it and on occasion I get some what appear to be guide lines appear on the screen which seem to restrict what I am able to do. I'm not sure how to get rid of them and so end up having to go out of a project and then back into it to carry on editing it.

My reason for using this product is we print a lot in house, and this program has so much to choose from, the creative side of the program is unlimited, we are able to create, get all the images or graphics we need all in one program, and then export it in what ever format we need.

I really enjoy using VistaCreate for its simple and easy-to-use interface. Additionally, it is an excellent tool for creating numerous designs with a wide range of features. However, some bugs and improvements still need to be made with the editor to make it even more user-friendly.

There are a few things that I don't like about the platform, chief among them being bugs when editing templates and uploading custom fonts. These can be frustrating and time-consuming and can often result in less-than-optimal results.

The first thing that I noticed about VistaCreate is its relative simplicity. I'm not a graphics designer but have developed a knack over the last few years through practice and like to work with a program that I can begin to utilize immediately without spending many hours learning that program.
I also like the fact that the organization is doing its utmost to support Ukraine and its 450 or so workers. I'm very impressed that the (English) language is outstanding which is not always the case from other areas of the world.

I like the videos that explain the various features but wish they had a bit more detail. I probably just have to spend more time going over each one to pick up the specifics.

Its ease of use is what I like about them, the software does not bug and the models are very good with excellent quality. The image library is provided. The videos are of good quality or even superior quality. drag and drop and it's easy, a considerable time saver using this software. I highly recommend.

The Animated Post is a no-brainer for me, this is a jackpot for me because, for someone like me who needs new Branded Posts Ideas and who has never build gif files, Crello is a gift. It saved me so much time when creating new posts for my Social Media.
If you're feeling stuck and you need inspiration, well, Crello got you covered. The Inspiration Tab is regularly updated with current events. Get your Artistic Self-pumped up with this feature.
One of my most favorite feature of Crello is you can actually resize your completed project, like if you want to resize an Image to fit for a Facebook post, Crello will automatically help you with that without sacrificing the quality of the Photo. Neat right?

So far I've enjoyed using Crello, and for now, I loved using this Software, I do hope the Updates will always be there because the Digital Age is evolving, I would love to see Crello being there and not late for anything. So far, no cons for me.

Pros

- Fast, fluid and simple UI
- Fantastic, high-quality template selection compared to similar programs.
- Quick and effective background removal tool
- Quick masks to transform any photo into a shape (better than Canva frames)
- A useful "Brand Kit" tool to keep the primary logos, colors, and fonts nearby. I wish I could add more than 3 fonts to a single brand identity. However, you can have many brand kits available at once, so that helps.
- The ability to quickly create video-centric content (Reels, Stories, Animated Intros) is simpler and faster to use than competing programs. It lacks some of the more powerful video-centric tools, but speed and ease-of-use is more important for multi-purpose tool like Vistacreate.

Cons

- Although there are an OK amount of objects/graphics, it still pales in comparison to Canva and Kittl. This is the greatest reason I can't totally recommend using Vistacreate over these other tools.
- The search functionality is way behind competitors. This is another BIG negative. (See below for more details)
- Vistacreate needs better layer management tools. Right now it's only the very basic "Move Backward" "Move Forward" type of system.
- The mockup tools are slightly behind Canva and Pixelied, and way behind Kittl.
- Vistacreate has fewer AI tools than competitors (if you care about them). Although most AI tools still fall in the "neat gimmick" category, some are becoming truly useful.

Regarding the search tool:
For fun I searched "Astronaut Cat" on Vistacreate, Canva, Kittl, and Microsoft Designer:

Vistacreate gave me nothing. Not a single graphic. It's easily in last place. It didn't even show me a single generic cat or astronaut graphic.

Microsoft Designer was in third place. It gave me generic cat and space graphics but not a single astronaut cat. But at least it showed me something. It also makes up a little ground with its ability to create Cat Astronaut icons using AI.

Kittl is strongly in second place, and not far from first. Kittl provided about 8 images of astronaut cats. But it also gave many different and unique astronauts, cats in space, and even a hamster and other animal astronaut images. Lots to choose from.

Canva was the obvious winner providing over 20+ different astronaut cats, 15+ cat-in-space graphics, and tons of other various astronaut, cat, and space graphics.

The HD quality of the graphics when I download them. I moved from a well known and used service because of their bad image resolution .... even for paid versions!

Cons

It can be improved with more feature choices like creating bulk graphics to schedule them to social media for at least 30 days. Or choose the view of our pages to show in vertical view. Or the ability to get free designs from other creators in Vista.

How is easy to handle, the tons of options you can select to create your designs and that is really easy to download but the best part, that is really free, many options tell you that their usage is free and it’s a total lie, specially when you want to download your work.

Lack of basic shapes for the content gallery. Too many cartoon-y images. Not enough easy to find basic business things, maybe they exist but could not find even searching multiple ways and got too time consuming to continuously scroll through things. Also I noticed a lot of shapes, labels etc could not be customized both in height and width, but only in one direction so the proportions were maintained. I need long and skinny things and found a plethora of more boxy type shapes that could only be enlarged, but not stretched sideways or shortened vertically.
