A complete BCMM assessment provides stakeholders the opportunity to review their present BCM plan, identify new risks, and then update the plan as needed. Assessing maturity and identifying gaps assists organizations in ensuring they are able to recover in accordance with company objectives. 

BCMM is conducted through Virtual Corporation's business continuity software platform Sustainable Planner, which provides a stable and secure assessment platform. BCMM is available in a free basic edition for organizations new to business continuity planning, as well as a full annual subscription edition with expanded features.

> **Pros**: I like the way it is broken into sections and levels of maturity. The new online format makes it very easy to complete. No longer do you need to answer the same question multiple times.
