The software is easy to use \& requires no steep learning curve to master its usability. The cloud collaboration functionality is downright outstanding as it saves time in delivering end-results \& performing changes before deadline submission. Also, I really appreciate how importing data is seamlessly incorporated into the currently-utilized CAD file without causing any problems.

> **Cons**: Though I have no issues whatsoever with the software; however, we've received complaints from some of our team members regarding intensive CPU usage on their Ryzen 2200G-based machines that lead to short-period stutters when panning through the schematic every now \& then.

> **Pros**: Die Benutzeroberfläche ist intuitiv nutzbar. Das Programm kann auch von Laien nach einer kurzen Einweisung gut genutzt werden. Umsteiger von branchenähnlichen Programmen wie z.B. AutoCAD finden sich in der Benutzeroberfläche schnell zurecht.

> **Cons**: Ares Commander ist aus einem Altprogramm hervorgegangen, welches einige architekturspezifische Merkmale wie z.B. eine hoch 5 Bemaßung oder Bauteile wie Wände, Treppen als LISP-Anwendungen beinhaltete. Leider sind diese Features nicht oder mit der Werkzeugpalette nur zum Teil in die neue Programmwelt übernommen worden.

> Ares Commander ist ein schnell erlernbares, intuitiv nutzbares Programm. Neben Berufserfahrenen Kollegen haben regelmäßig Praktikanten die Chance mit dem Programm zu arbeiten, was nach ca. einer Woche Einarbeitungszeit gut funktioniert. Dies basiert auf der guten und übersichtlichen Oberflächen- und Befehlsgestaltung.

Using the tool palettes, users can create their own palettes and place their most frequently used tools there. This ensures that the right tools for each task are always bundled together and readily available.

> **Cons**: Nothing. ARES Commander keeps getting better with each new version and already offers a very good user experience.

> With each new version, the range of features is expanded. Easily collaborate with colleagues and customers via ARES Commander and ARES KUDO. Starting with version 2025, it is now possible to use a secondary unit of measurement. This allows drawings to be created in both millimeters and inches.

> **Pros**: Der übersichtliche Aufbau der Befehlsleisten und den Anpassung für eigene Bedürfnisse.

> Ich komme aus der AutoCAD-Welt und habe nach einer Alternative gesucht, weil die Abos von Autodesk total überteuert sind. Mit ARES Commander habe ich eine super Alternative gefunden mit dem mir der Umstieg sehr gut gelungen ist. Der Aufbau des Programmes hat Ähnlichkeiten. In der Einstellungsmaske sogar wesentlich besser gestalltet als AutoCAD. Rund um ein gelungenes CAD ohne versteckten Anwendungseinstellungen, die man nur mit gezielten Schulungen erfahren kann (Beispiel Anpassung der Benutzeroberfläche - sehr kompliziert in AutoCAD).
