The Accountant Tools and its variety of options is incredible as well. As I meantioned early, the product in its entirety overall is extremely phenomenal. The biggest selling feature was its ease of use. We could train clients quickly to perform their basic accounting functions. The accountant edition does have some useful tools. All of our clients are on one dashboard and easy to get to. Managing team members and their client permissions is easy. We no longer use it but billing was simple and straightforward. The software is free for accounting partners as long as you have clients with subscriptions. > > **Cons**: Intuit is one of the least customer friendly companies I have dealt with. There are constant price increases while they add features that no one asked for or will use. Recently, they completely redesigned their UI and now things that used to take one click to get to take several, if you can even find it. We no longer recommend this product to clients and have moved several over to a competitor when they asked due to the new design. > > Overall, Quickbooks Accountant is just something we are stuck with at this point as long as we have clients that use it. I also like the integrations with the bank feeds and other apps which makes recording transactions a breeze. The step-by-step instructions which can be found with their online support is very useful and shareable with clients when they need to know how to do something in Quickbooks. I like the Accountant Tools features because it helps me to make corrections and changes much easier \& quicker. I also really like the newer Books Review page. It helps me to clean up client books and message them with questions directly out of Quickbooks. I like that it is cloud based so there is no longer fear of a clients books getting lost on a damaged computer or network. Also, it allows me to be able to provide accounting services to my clients from home no matter where they are located. > > **Cons**: There are a few quirks with some of the newer features of the software, but I am sure those will get worked out. I also have not had a great experience with the phone support team. Sometimes they are able to help, but I have been steered wrong by support in the past and ended up figuring out the fix on my own after spending a long time on a call with support. > > Overall I have had a good experience with Quickbooks Online Accountant.
