The solution I've been searching for
I have found the customer support to be more than excellent and that it is included within the 30-day trial period.
Special mention to my customer support agent, [sensitive content hidden]. His knowledge of the system and platford is very good, as is his attitude and patience.
Pros
The user interface, the dashboard and ease of the settings.
Cons

ShipStation productivity vs price
My company used ShipStation for 7 years for the most part it was a positive experience. If they price did not increase we likely would still be using this platform

Ok Unless There Is An Issue
If you have an issue with a package you shipped on shipstation with UPS, you are out of luck. You can't open a claim on UPS because you used shipstation and shipstation won't open claims on your behalf.

ShipStation is Necessary but Annoying
It's acceptable for what we use it for and I've been unable to find a replacement for it in our day-to-day operations but it leaves a lot to be desired. The price keeps going up but the service gets worse.
Pros
ShipStation is the tool we use for fulfilling orders every day at Curl Warehouse. It allows us to bring in our carrier rates, save our regular package sizes, etc. It is great having everything in one place.
Cons
There are few alternatives to ShipStation within this price range, and I think ShipStation knows that we don't have a lot of options. Customer service is practically non-existent and several features don't really work as well as they should, such as order filters, updating product information when it is updated in Shopify even though the tools are connected, printing product vendor on the packing slips isn't possible (WHY?! This seems like something so many of us would find beneficial), and there are several other things that seem like they should be part of the tool that aren't and would be really helpful for merchants.

Easy shipping with room for improvement
Overall, ShipStation is a solid choice for businesses looking for an easy way to manage their shipping. It has good tools for handling orders, labels, and tracking, but it might not be the best option for businesses on a tight budget or those needing advanced features without paying extra.
Pros
ShipStation makes it simple to manage shipping for your online store. It connects to many e-commerce platforms like eBay, Shopify, and Amazon, letting you print shipping labels, track packages, and manage orders all in one place. The platform is easy to use and saves time by automating many shipping tasks.
Cons
While ShipStation is great for basic shipping, it can get expensive as your business grows. Some features, like advanced reporting and certain integrations, are only available on higher-priced plans. Also, the customer support can sometimes be slow, which might be frustrating when you need help quickly.

ShipStation for B2B (Parcel/LTL/FTL)
Overall, ShipStation has been a successful solution for our team - allowing us to cut down on lead times and expedite important orders
Pros
Ease of use - it is very easy to train new team member as the system is intuitive. We have been able to create custom tags that allow our team to gain more detail into orders to ensure the shipping method is best for the order.
Cons
Splitting shipment can be difficult to manage and often fail to fulfil correctly in our connected ERP system. We have increased our freight shipments, tracking and booking we have had to do outside of ShipStation for these orders.

Aweful scam Stay away.
Horrible
Pros
Nothing except international shipping less
Cons
Horrible customer service. They don’t answer phone. Website terribly confusing and difficult to use on IPhone The free trial is a lure as you must give a credit card .Sales rep didn’t mention you must cancel on their website which is difficult and requires multiple steps. Canceling by email or message to rep or customer service WONT get you cancelled and your credit card charged. There notifications go to spam . They quoted the wrong charges and didn’t mention u don’t get a tracking number so if you do business on EBay you’ll be dinged. They lie to avoid responsibility for their shortcomings ie 90 day free cancel period… they didn’t honor claiming I used their service after the 90 days.. bold faced lie. Great product, but room for impreovement
Pros
I love that ShipStation is fully integrated with PayPal, no extra steps required. Also have the option to purchase flats envelope pricing, which isn't offered through most platforms. This can be a downside for inexperienced users who select this shipping class not realizing it does not include tracking and should not be used for packages.
Cons
The user interface could use some improvement. Compared to competitors, shipstation is much more cumbersome to view the status of all outgoing shipments at a glance. Instead, I have to click on each shipment individually to view delivery information. Would also like the option to generate a qr code for those times when I do not have access to a printer.

Pros

If you ship products, Shipstation is the way to go!
This program suits our business perfectly. We are a manufacturing company and we ship daily. It keeps you from doubling your workload as your customers information is at your finger tips.

Shipstation for your needs big or small
Shipstation has been there for our company from the very beginning. It has grown to be able to assist us in shipping thousands of shipments per day.
Pros
Shipstation offers everything one needs to operate a compact, medium or large fulfillment business.
Cons
There are so many features that we don't use, I wonder if it might be better to have the option to build a subscription level rather than use a subscription tier that's centered only around volume.

Great product, other than the shipping rates
We've used Shipstation to purchase and print labels from both the API and web portal. Both the API and web portal are quite good, with the web portal being best in class.
Pros
Shipstation has by far the best UX/UI of any of the shipping softwares we've used (Shippo, Easypost, Pirate Ship). It also has far more frontend features. If you're primarily using the web portal for shipping management, this is your best bet. You'll get things done much faster than with alternative options.
Cons
The biggest downside of Shipstations is their carrier rates. USPS rates are quite bad as they force you to provision your own USPS account. Other platforms allow you to use their rates for USPS, which gets you much better discounts (unless you ship 50,000+ pieces a month on your own account, you won't match the discounts on Shippo or similar).
Reasons for Switching to ShipStation
We use both Shippo and Shipstation. Any USPS parcels go Shippo because the rates are so much better- Industry: Apparel & Fashion

Works Okay, Remote printing issues
I wouldn't not recommend using ShipStation, but the integration with the Rollo printer was annoying, specifically on the Mac. It didn't have issues integrating with ecommerce platforms like Shopify or Amazon, and was reliable for sending the correct data and receiving the full and accurate orders.
Pros
It integrated well with Shopify, Walmart.com, Etsy, eBay and Amazon.
Cons
It had connection issues with the remote printing option and Rollo. I would have to frequently disconnect and reconnect the software. The cost jumps up rapidly after 50 orders, and during my off season, if I'd forget to downgrade, I would pay a lot for services I wasn't using

Can't get it to work to even start and live chat support is really bad
My overall experience? Very stressful and upsetting dealing with unqualified support staff who wasted my time and got me nowhere.
This, to me, says a lot about the company. What happens after our store goes live and something breaks? Will it be down a week because support is non-existent? Or can I trust a company to build a quality product when they won't invest in quality help? I hope they and others like them are listening. This is not just ShipStation. Companies need to realize the importance of good support. It can make them or break them.
I'm off now to find a company with good, well-trained support that has a good command of the English language. Do they still exist?
Pros
The ai chat bot was great. Very well trained. I was excited, but could only go so far before I needed a human. Then things went to hell. Never could get it working to know how well it works.
Cons
There are many problems and the labels were misleading so it was impossible to know what the real problem was. Is it a bug? Is it misconfiguration? Is it just something I don't understand because the explanations on the page weren't clear? I couldn't say and live chat was not helpful at all. He couldn't understand the simplest questions so after 2 hours of trying to get the app connected to our store, and Loom video after Loom video I made to make it easy for him to comprehend, I had to give up trying. Even though his vocabulary was large, it's pretty clear, because of his lack of comprehension, that English was not his first language. But if he knew his job, the language shouldn't have even been a problem. If the shipping app doesn't connect to your ecommerce store, and I showed him pictures to make it crystal clear (it said no shipping options), he should have been trained enough to know what to do to fix it. He didn't even understand the question.

Stores and order management
I find it easy to use and a great way to have all of your marketplaces centralized to assist your shipping team or your customers, we have various ways to locate an order and edit it to our needs.
Pros
Once you do your basic set up you can start to keep track of your orders and for a long time, we can go back and edit orders from years back in case something new pops up with customer service
Cons
Since it is a web page it can fail and make your process stop.Sometimes the cache on your account makes it slow to check on order if you have high volume (customer support can assist on this).now that they are testing their new look sometims old SS can be hard to work and you ahve to go to the new look, and viceversa.
