Better than any other fitness management product. Period.
From onboarding and uploading client info, videos, etc. the whole process has been flawless. The way Arketa integrates with websites makes it easy to implement. It looks good and it works.
Pros
Onboarding and implementing Arketa is as easy as it can possibly be. The interfaces are all very straightforward. Their support people are prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Cons
There isn't anything about Arketa to dislike. It's terrific.

It started out great, but that all changed
It started out great, but by the end it was horrible. If customer service was better and the re-occurring tech issues I had for 6 months were fixed quickly, I would’ve stayed; however, this was not the case. If you are looking for a platform with great customer service that fixes your issues quickly, I do not recommend. I give it 3 stars because the first 2 1/2 years were great.

In the beginning, Arketa worked great. Their customer service response times were amazing and they were really helpful. The software worked well and it was easy to use.
Cons
When they continued to grow and expand on their features, the customer service lacked majorly. Rather than helping you with a problem, they would point you towards pre-written help documents that weren’t relevant. After waiting for months for critical components in my software to be fixed without much update, I had to finally make the decision to move to a different platform.

Arketa is the best!
Arketa helped me consolidate my business platforms. I needed a program where I could host my studio's classes, events and virtual experiences along with an On Demand Library, communities, online courses, massage bookings and programs. I love all that Arketa offers and I feel like they cater to my style of entrepreneurship, which is a little of everything.
Pros
Arketa is the 3rd software company for my healing arts studio that I have used and I am so glad I switched. I loved the fact that I had a personal onboarding specialist that met with me every week until I was up and running and he was available for questions at any time. I am sold on all the options that Arketa offers, as my business was being hosted on 3-4 other platforms and can now be with one.
Cons
The only issue I had was that I onboarded during Arketa's upgrade, so I got confused on which dashboard to be working with.

A wonderful system seemingly made for almost everything I need from a software.
Overall experience has been wonderful. Much more affordable and with more features that are useable than my previous software.
Pros
Product is super easy to use and with more features coming out will be even better. Price was on point for the amazing features that already come with it. Additionally, I am not paying extra for a lot of random stuff that I don't know how to use. Amazing customer support and help with setup and integration questions.
Cons
There are some very minor things that I think could be added/changed, but I have been told some of these features were coming so I don't necessarily want to list them.

STUDIO Y3's experience with Arketa
My overall experience with Arketa has been nothing but amazing, and I would choose this platform over and over again. The customer service and general support that I have received and continue to receive could not be more efficient and to the point. Also, the overall functionality of the platform is amazing. It is efficient and easy to grasp and get an understanding of. I would recommend Arketa to absolutely anyone in the fitness industry. Arketa was also recommended to me, so I know that I'm not the only one extremely pleased with Arketa's services.

My Amazing Experience with Arketa
My overall experience with Arketa has been exceptional. The software continually impresses with its frequent release of new features, keeping it at the forefront of technology. However, this is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall value and innovation the software provides. As someone who is not tech savvy, they have so many FAQs and articles that assist me in understanding new features.

Easy for my Clients and Me to Use -- And its pretty!
Arketa has been a game-changer for my Pilates Business. Everything I need—booking, marketing and lead management, mobile app—is all in one place, making my day-to-day operations so much smoother. The mobile app is the best I have seen. The software is customizable to perfectly match the website I had before coming on board, so it was an easy transition. Once I switched to Arketa for marketing and lead management I was able to do more to drive my revenue. My clients love how user-friendly it is, which has made it easy for them to sign-up.

Switched from Mindbody and am happy
Pros
I really like the integration with my website, when I was using Mindbody the integration at my subscription level was not very mobile-friendly. The customer support from Arketa has been excellent.
Cons
The one thing I feel I am missing the most in transfer over software is loading in clients' previous number of classes from the old platform. I want to be able to celebrate milestones (50 class, 100 class) but for anyone who started with us before this platform, we don't have their number of classes recorded on this software.

I've found Arketa easy to use, and the customer service is unmatched. My rep gets back to me quickly to answer or help with any questions I have. I know that Arketa has pivoted after the pandemic to accommodate in-person classes, and I've been super impressed that some of our requests for changes to the system have been made quickly. The functionality is exactly what we need for a small studio, and the price point can't be matched.

There's a bit of a learning curve for certain things on the backend, and I know that would be the same for any software.

Pros
The ease of booking classes and launching events is the most important usage for me. I'm also able to maintain my virtual and On Demand business without spending more precious time building it as the process is so streamlined. I also launched my mobile app with Arketa 4-5 months ago and members are loving the experience.

Switching to Arketa was a great move for my yoga studio
Arketa has been a great move for our studio when migrating away from Mindbody. Having everything available and integrated on our Squarespace website has saved us money from being able to get rid of other programs and subscriptions.
Pros
The price is unbeatable for the amount of features offered. The integration to our Squarespace website is visually appealing and seamless. The customer service team is very responsive and helpful. The software is easy to use and straightforward.
Cons
There are a few random features that Arketa does not offer yet that would have made certain operations easier, but the team is always great about taking suggestions.

The lack of customer service and availability to help navigate issues was ultimately what led me to cancel my membership. They offer no phone consults which would have been fine if I recieved faster chat reponses but it would take several hours-24 hours to get a response to questions on the regular. This is perhaps becuase I am PST and their office would close before I could get an answer to my queries. becuase of the price, I expected better support

Arketa has the best customer service. They genuinely care about each user and strive to make meaningful connections to help us grow our businesses. Definitely worth it
Overall very good. Team is responsive and helpful, software is much better than mindbody I was using before, and my community says the flow is great and easy to understand.
Pros
I love how it is customizable and can embed easily into my site. I love how fluidly in person, virtual, and on demand experiences can live side by side. Arketa has excellent customer service.
Cons
Waitlist feature is problematic. There is no fast and clear way of pulling up all the sessions used in a package. There could be more fluidity with payment: mainly the ability to apply payment to something already booked. It would be nice to display your availability for private appts separately from the ones that you reserve for ongoing clients.

Easy to use
In addition to the software, Arketa hosts webinars and trainings to support us instructors/entrepreneurs in growing our business. Each one is very upbeat and full of ideas that motivate me to keep going and growing.
Pros
Arketa is really easy to set up as the business owner/instructor, and also simple for students to use. I am a pretty basic user (a few classes and videos) but it has a lot of features that I might use in the future (challenges, personal scheduling) so it's great to know these features are already there. The team is super responsive if you need technical help, and I love the company's beliefs in creating a community of instructors and encouraging us to shine.

The level of customer service has been top class since day one. I have plenty of questions during the initial onboarding phase and the team was more than happy to answer these in a timely manner.

Currently Arketa syncs with Mailchimp, I am now using Kajabi and would love for the software to sync with Kajabi for email automations when new client join so I can ditch Mailchimp for good.

The new normal for fitness
My experience has been great! I am having a wonderful time seeing other instructor's showcase their styles and sharing my own with other people thanks to this platform.
Pros
I teach online as a profession so when a friend of mine suggested Sutra fitness as a way to teach a fitness class I had to check it out. The price is very low. I believe it was $25.00 a month for membership. You do not even have to have a website because they will help you set it up. It is pretty user friendly but if you are really struggling to come up with ideas on how to conduct your class, you can download the app by just submitting your phone number. Then Simply log in to other instructor's classes and get a feel for what online fitness instruction should look like. Each instructor get a fresh looking profile to show off their personal style. This is really a modern solution to people who are to busy to commit to a gym membership. For people like myself who find E-learning the future of education this is a perfect way to add another instructional class to my life without having to leave home. A fabulous way to be your own boss!

I love the entire system. It is very refreshing to find a studio platform that thinks of the future and considers the studio's clients to be an essential part of the development process. Their reports are to the penny, their setup is easy, and our clients love the ease of use. We used this system for our clients and discovered that for the studio side, it was just as easy for us! It is a lovely system, and if you are trying to decide who to go with, you won't look back once switching to Arketa. They are a breath of fresh air.

This is a minimal issue and nothing compared to other software cons. Their reports need a little assistance. They are the most accurate and reliable reports I have ever had, but sometimes, our ability to see a transaction immediately — can be delayed for 24 hours.

Honestly I can say my experience has been 10/10 -- there's always a glitch here or there that you would expect to run into with converting software... but seeing the people behind the scenes and building relationships with these individuals goes and has gone a very long way. The branded app has elevated my clients' experience in all ways of PL. I'm super grateful to be part of all of Arketa's growth as a business but also to other studios! FINALLY found my perfect fit for studio software!
I've been around the fitness block a few times. I've been teaching group ex classes since they were called "aerobics", and I've had my own fitness business for 19 years. I was with MindBody for 10 years and then Mariana Tek for the past 3 years. While both are well established companies, Arketa has so much more to offer! To start, the onboarding process was top notch. [sensitive content hidden] was my specialist and he was amazing! We went through everything in weekly zoom meetings, so that when it was time for my software to go "live" I was more than ready. I feel that I finally found a software that has everything my brick & mortar studio + my online business need.
Pros
Software looks great and it's easy to customize to your brand. I have EVERYTHING that I need is one spot, instead of paying 3 different providers (software/email/app/etc) which gets overwhelming and expensive. I've had to contact customer service a few times since I'm new(ish) to Arketa, and they've quickly resolved any questions that I've encountered. I LOVE my branded app and so do my members!

Dishonest from the first phone call
This is a dishonest company. They knew they planned on adding additional costs to the processing company's fees. When brought up they agreed to waive them, but this would only be for 1 year, then we'd have to deal with their excessive charges. Their fees they tack on weren't brought up until we started to transfer over to their system. At that point we told them we had no interest in dealing with them. It also turns out that their processing company, stripe, has a reputation for dropping customers who don't align with their political views (eg Rumble, Parlor and others).
Pros
There's nothing we saw in Arketa which was any better than any other CRM vendor.
Cons
When they contacted us we told them we weren't interested in talking with any company until we went over processing fees. It's the only concern we have with our current CRM company, WellnessLiving. They assured us our rates would be lower with their processing company. However, what they do, unlike every other CRM company is tack on additional percentages to what the processing company charges, so any savings are evaporated. Their monthly fees are higher, but the overall cost would have been lower. They wasted my time and the time of my team members.

Above and beyond expectations
The team at Arketa has been exceptional, from our first intro call to all the setup calls we had it has gone without a hitch. All questions we had were promptly resolved and the team had amazing suggestions for the functionalities we were looking for. I've never felt dismissed and they were so patient in supporting us through the setup!
Pros
Arketa ticked all the boxes (and more) when it came to the functionalities we needed for our yoga studio but if I had to pick just one it would be the user interface. After having an account, customers can make purchases with one click and they have an easy overview of all packages in their account.
Cons
There isn't anything we like less about the system, so far it has been perfect for us.

Software for a small business
I have many years of experience working with booking & CRM software. I think overall the Arketa software is good for someone that does not have as much experience. It is fairly easy to navigate. I will say be sure to be clear about what you want the software to do. It is great for an on demand library, which is how it started. The set up has a fairly intensive onboarding process which means as a business having images, branding, marketing outlined prior to getting started is helpful. If someone is looking for an all in one software, this meets the brief.

Areketa is in a constant state of improvement. The dev team looks as suggestions & tries to implement them to make functionality better
Cons
RM needs more sorting/filtering options. At times there are glitches and bugs. The support team is quick to address these issues.

Be cautious
I would strongly advise you to be extremely cautious when proceeding with Arketa. From the beginning, I was sold a story by [sensitive content hidden] that had inaccurate and misleading promises about the level of support, initial start up, and customer service. The narrative was that Arketa was a smaller business and valued each customer. I was promised that I would have help bringing all my pertinent information over from my original operating system, Wellness Living, quickly and easily. In reality, this was always meant to be done by me or, I could choose to pay more on top of an already hefty monthly payment for my small business. At this time, I was tied into a 6 month contract in which, I paid in full because I could get a better rate. But, between selling my business, a move of our family of 6, some health setbacks and a change of direction, I had to cancel my contract. I requested some of the 6 month PIF payment back (I used less than 2 months of service), but I was told no. I accepted that. But then, I get an email after confirming the cancellation of my contract with Arketa, saying that I would be charged over $3000 for the next 6 months. I emailed right away and asked for this to be taken care of so that I wasn’t charged. Well, sure enough, I was charged over $3k and got declined when trying to use my credit card to purchase groceries. I was also charged an over draft fee because of this unexpected charge of over 3K which I am normally very careful to avoid. FINALLY, after over a month of emailing [sensitive content hidden], I was refunded but, not for the correct amount. Due to the exchange rate differential, I was refunded $217 less than what I was charged plus I had that overdraft fee on top of that. Now, I have been ghosted by [sensitive content hidden] and no one has acknowledged that I am still missing money. I understand that there was an exchange rate difference but, I do not feel like I should get punished for that since I sent two email reminders to please check that this would not happen. Because we have four kids and are just trying our best, this money goes along way with all the expenses that we are all facing. I am very disappointed that after 14 emails sent with kindness and patience, that I could not get a response on what was happening. Finally, after sharing this review, I received a response from Arketa Renewals with another promise of helping me out. I had hope that I was going to receive some customer service and get back the money I was owed. Nope. 3 additional emails were sent from me to Arketa- kindly requesting an update. It has been almost a month and I have once again been ghosted with absolutely no response at all. If you are thinking about using Arketa, ask lots of questions and know that, at end of the day, you are being sold to. My experience with Wellness Living customer service was much better and much more responsive. I know what it’s like to try to survive and thrive in this industry and, we all want to feel like our hard earned money is put to good use, serving us to increase our business. This experience, unfortunately, sent me in the opposite direction. Watch out for this company and the stories they sell.

I like the appearance and cleanness of the site. I also like the chat option for questions. I am still learning communities but am hoping to utilize them more as I learn about them.
Cons
There seem to be a lot of glitches here and there. I wish that there were more weekly courses or videos to learn. I believe there was when I signed up but I learn by seeing and doing and not reading the articles so I feel like I'm always asking questions.

Really bad experience
It has be the most frustrating experience since I start my own company.

Arketa was recommended to me by my website designer and I went with it. I didnt know much about the website.

I must to say, it is one of the few times in my whole life that I took the time off my schedule to write th review about product I use> Arketa. Small business owner, started my company in January BUT in field of fitness since 2004 and used many different platforms. Since the beginning a had problems with this software: not loading successfully, updates are slow, bad integration. They don't have any intake forms that can be used immediately, which means you have to enter them manually and, in addition, you can not sent them separately to the customer. It is a pain BUT, I think the biggest problem that I had is customer service!! It took me week or in some cases two weeks to fix one problem! or to find out about intake forms I needed for my client, or I needed a contract to have sent it to me. At this moment, It has been a week now and I am waiting to my request of contract ! They still have not sent one to me. They keep sending me: "Thank you for my patience" email, and I dont have patiance for them. There are no available phone numbers, no direct email to customer services unless you buy the premium package. really? being value customer in oversaturated market with software is not enough?

Cease and Desist
When I started using Arketa in July 2023, it was smooth sailing for the first 7 months or so. Their customer support was responsive and i didn't have any major issues with the platform. Then in March 2024 they migrated to a new dashboard and s**** hit the fan.
The new dashboard was a big mess! Classes would disappear all the time, and new classes would randomly be added to the schedule without my doing so. I tried to run my studio like this for two months, but it wasn't sustainable. I migrated to Momence in June 2024.
After I migrated to Momence I sent a formal request that our information be completely deleted from their platform in appliance to GDPR standards. It has been 4 months since that request and people are still able to book our classes on Arketa without my consent. I had to send them a Cease and Desist letter for false advertisement and violation GDPR.
Pros
I chose Arketa because our yoga studio offers sliding scale pricing and the platform was able to acomodate that functionality.
Cons
Platform was not functional and I am still working to get us off their website after cancelling 4 months ago.

Love Arketa
Fantastic! I loved meeting everyone. I felt seen and heard by everyone we've met and like our business really matters to the team and the company. Arketa feels like we got a whole community of friends and support when we signed up. Other software companies seemed like talking heads with zero interest in our dream and without any passion towards the fitness industry. Just sales bro's bullsh*ting about powerful tech. With Arketa it felt like something just clicked. This is a company I want to do business with. From the beginning there was mutual respect and immediate connection. Arketa is truly a special company and I am so honored to be a part of it!!

They were better when they were Sutra
I signed up with them in 2021. They were amazing. Easy to access, helped with on boarding and trouble shooting and their subscriber events were great.
Over time I have referred several people.
Since the change in name and I safe assume personnel I would not recommend them ' unless you are tech savvy and have your own website.

Poor customer service. They are friendly but friendly is not getting the job done. When they were Sutra they designed my website. That was a HUGE plus.

Love Arketa!!
I've been a member for a few years now and I love that they are always so genuinely interested in helping and looking for ways to expand the platform. The customer service is always 10/10.

I feel like I have learned a lot, but have not event come close to implementing all that is offered through Arketa.
Pros
I like the variety of options they offer to help grow our business. From class sign ups to creating events, communities, and all the marketing options are great.
Cons
I struggle with figuring out a lot of the technology pieces. Improved customer support (getting help when you are working on something versus waiting sometimes days to get a response would be helpful). I would even love to see options to get help one on one for ideas and support.

Arketa is the BOMB.com
Perfect, and I mean that. I was dragging my feet trying knowing I needed a new website and scheduling platform but I was hesitant to start the process because no one company ever seems to have exactly what you want. I responded to an ad for Arketa on Instagram and set up a demo and was hooked immediately and THANK GOD for that, because it has been a god send.

Absolutely EVERYTHING!!! The web design platform is easy to use and incredibly robust in what it offers you. Setting up my account was easy as well, all the steps are easy to find and follow. The integration with ClassPass has been a game changer, as has all of the integrations with Google and Zoom. I can not say enough about how much I love Arketa and what it has done for my studio in just a short time.

I’ve started with Arketa back in 2020, after a year I left not because I wasn’t satisfied, but because I was offered an app with live streaming and chat included. In 2023 I realized that I shouldn’t have left Arketa, and I had little to no control in my business. So I’ve returned and my stress is gone. I’m building everything for almost a year now.🩷

I am a hands on learner and love to work with people so this was a challenge for me getting started as it was so brand new. I am happy to say my platform is up and running and that's in thanks to customer service helping me.

Dependent upon the plan that you choose it can be hard to get some assistance initially. At a higher level tier plan you have access to live chat or video calls. My only recommendation here would be to offer a one time onboarding with a live staff member to help trouble shoot regardless of the plan you choose.

Arketa has transformed my studio and my life
It has made a remarkable change in my life. It's freed up a lot of time and it's easier now for me to stay on top of accounts receivable. Arketa has enabled me to be a more efficient manager.

Would recommend for a services based company

I like that I am able to merge all of my services and retail products into one system. I also love the fact that they are also my credit card processor, so it saves a lot of time and space to keep everything housed under one system!

New to the new Arketa
I'm pretty disapointed honestly, I switched from Mindbody and didn't realize I was walking into a freshly launched program.
Pros
I was sold on Arketa based off of the previous platform, which seemed to be smoother than this one, the cost is affordable.

A horrible experience
So far Arketa has not solved any of my problems and I have not received any benefit. This was money pit for me- a total waste of time and money-- and so much frustration before I gave up on it.
Pros
The salesperson was very nice and seems to believe in their product and service. However, what was promised on the sales end was not actually the way the team works. My setup meetings were canceled, my questions were replied to with links to videos that didn't actually answer my individual questions or help me with the kind of help that was promised. Their "live support" is just zoom meetings, which are at set times that don't fit in my schedule. The one I attended and the recorded version I watched also jumped past people's questions as "we're not really going to get into individual issues, but you can find your answer here."
Cons
I was buying into this because I believed they would provide the individual support I need, but just paid a lot more, and got a lot less, than my Squarespace. If all I was going to get was links to video tutorials for support, I could have just stayed with Squarespace. I absolutely hate that I spent so much time and money on this and didn't get a single month of the product up and running due to all the issues in getting the help I needed, I paid for a website I can't access. I put work into the back end and it didn't end up published correctly, despite following step by step instructions. Tasks that are simple on squarespace are complicated here.
