## Reviews

### "Excellent Patching Tools" — 5.0/5

> **Alfred** | *19 March 2026* | Nonprofit Organization Management | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: It is incredibly powerful and versatile, meeting almost all of our requirements. Remarkably, it still offers full functionality for up to 200 endpoints at no cost.
>
> **Cons**: Using on MacOS still not so directly. The remote tools still not improve so far, remote access still needs other tools help.
>
> Action1 remains as effective as ever. I haven't found another free patching tool (supporting up to 200 endpoints) that can compete with its current features and reliability.

### "Good platform with a lot of nice features" — 4.0/5

> **Stephen** | *11 September 2025* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Action1 was key in us achieving a patching strategy for our organisation. We found that Action1 was much more effective at patching (both through product-coverage and time to deploy) against our other solutions.
>
> **Cons**: We primarily use Action1 to manage remote-workers on BYOD and there are some features that could be more controllable. For example, the platform shows network connections on the machine in real-time. In BYOD scenarios, it could be good to disable this to respect BYOD users' privacy.
>
> Overall we have had a good experience with Action1. The patching and inventory tools are much more intuitive than other platforms that we explored. Excited to see some of the roadmap items come into productions.

### "A centralised IT management platform with automated maintenance functionality" — 3.0/5

> **Issac** | *29 June 2021* | Automotive | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Easy to use for endpoint management
Supports schedule based automated maintenance of servers and connected workstation
Very effective in remote desktop and unattended access.
>
> **Cons**: Ui looks a bit outdated and requires a ramp up
Connection is found to break at times reducing overall reliability
>
> Easy to use .Supports quicker maintainence of remote system compared to traditional methods while using action1 rmm

### "Plug and Play Greatness For a Growing SMB" — 5.0/5

> **Greg** | *30 June 2025* | Building Materials | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Action1 quickly became our single pan of glass for patching, software deployment and remote assistance. The platform has been very stable and responsive. For remote assistance we previously used AnyDesk and their implementation of UAC control was a nightmare. It's a non-issue with Action1.
>
> **Cons**: Occasionally the dashboard counts and statistics lag behind by a few minutes, but that's most likely some I see because I spend a lot of time using the portal each day.
>
> Being in a fairly small company (apprx: 150 endpoints) that had no patch management solution in place prior to this, I'd say that getting Action1 implemented was the easiest project I've had since I started here a year ago. The Remote Assistance tool is just plug and play, no setup to speak of at all.

I have to admit, I feel a little guilty that we are getting all of this for free. I'm looking forward to breaking the 200 endpoint barrier in teh next year and subscribing to a tool that is 100% worth the investment.

### "Fantastic Product and Support" — 5.0/5

> **Joshua** | *30 June 2025* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Patch Management in Action1 is easy and comprehensive. Remote control is a nice added bonus. Further the 200 clients are perfect for corporate trials or supporting family and friends. Every quarter, Action1 seems to release new features. Many of the features we were looking for have been added in just the 4-5 months we have been using the product.
>
> **Cons**: The "entity" breakdowns in the console are nice; however, it currently does not allow for enterprise wide actions. This is a feature they are working on, but for now actions must be performed per entity.
>
> Overall, the product works well and allows for easy remote support and maintenance of PCs and MACs. I have been using the product for nearly 6 months and have found the product reliable and the support staff friendly and knowledgeable. Also, according to the upcoming features page, the Linux client will be out soon.
