### "An affiliate program that pays, just not much" — 4.0/5

> **Pros**: The payments are real. Right after the order is finished, I get paid automatically to my PayPal. Setting up takes no time, and I receive regular updates on order status from using its affiliated links.

> **Cons**: Unless you do a lot of online shopping, you will just be paid peanuts. Further, you will only be paid if you have accumulated at least the minimum amount of reward required in your account. Once in a while, I don't even receive the skimpy payments promised. The reason given is that Rakuten Advertising doesn't receive its commission from that particular merchant. I also get a lot more irrelevant spams from merchants I don't even know of. Like any other affiliate programs, Rakuten Advertising is sharing my personal data with other third parties.
