Simple yet powerful document collaboration tool
Overall Google Docs has been so helpful in our business. I love how easy it is to collaborate with coworkers, either editing at the same time or adding comments and making suggestions for changes, without interrupting the flow of the doc.
Sharing options are also great, where you can limit sharing based on Google Workspace domain, specific email address or just people with a specific links. Super easy.
Pros
I love being able to easily collaborate on documents from anywhere. No installed software needed and maximum flexibility.
Cons
The iPhone app can be a bit fiddly, but it's to be expected when working with big documents on small devices.

Google Docs - Review from a Business Owner & Digital Marketer
Google Docs works well for my business and my digital marketing job for the vast majority of the time. There are minor inconveniences that pop up here and there, but I will certainly be using Google Docs for years to come.
Pros
Google Docs allows for sharing and collaboration capabilities that competing writing processors don't have, or don't do as seamlessly. I also particularly like that I can access my Docs across all of my devices with native applications, which includes the new desktop application for Macbook.
Cons
There are some specific formatting features that Google Docs doesn't have, which I may need to use on occasion. In these instances, I am forced to switch to Microsoft Word. Something more specific to my own workload is that I wish the text formatting features could be more in-depth. I specifically wanted to change a passage of text I pasted from another document to my Google Doc's "Normal Text." However, I wanted to keep the italics in place, and not have them overwritten. I was forced to do this manually instead.

Microsoft WordReasons for Switching to Google Docs
Google Docs fits much more seamlessly into my workflow than Microsoft Word, given that we also use Gmail as our primary email provider. It's much more intuitive for my team and I to use Google's suite of applications that get the job done for us. While I do use Microsoft Word on occasion, we spend most of our time using Google Docs instead, given the robust collaboration tools. Most importantly, Google Docs is completely free and doesn't require us to fork over monthly payments for a subscription.- Industry: Marketing & Advertising

Google Docs makes your documents and writing accessible anywhere and everywhere
Google Docs makes writing collaborative, accessible and easily navigable no matter where you are and what device you're on.
Pros
What I love most about Google Docs is the ability to collaborate with other co-workers and all be working on the document at the same time. I also love that i'm able to work on documents offline and also access them anywhere remotely with just my email address, meaning I'm not restricted to working on one computer or device.
Cons
The only problem I run into with Google Docs is the formatting, I find it changes formatting often.

Excellent for Work, but not Production
It is an incredible tool and I have been using it far more than other word processors for the majority of my workflow.
Pros
It is incredibly convenient being able to access documents and work on them from different devices in different locations while maintaining high quality formatting. It’s faster than programs like Microsoft office and flows better with shared content and workspace.
Cons
It is less powerful than Microsoft word and the formatting doesn’t have quite the versatility and finesse of Word. So for final presentation documents and specialty print-outs, I have to use different program.

Docs are great for real-time edits, collaboration, and tracking changes.
Overall Docs has been great for my own personal documents, for documents I need to share with clients, and for documents that require collaboration with a team. I like that you can share with different access rights - view only, edit, etc.
Pros
I like that Docs can be edited in real time by multiple people and that you can track the changes people make. I also like that there's a historical record and it's really easy to leave comments and tags for others.

Essential Document Creation/Sharing
Google Docs allows me to do so many things in an easy, collaborative fashion. It's hard to think of a time when I didn't use it, but I know that my organization, productivity, and collaboration have all improved in that time. Google has done a very nice job with this product, and they are always rolling out new features and quality-of-life improvements.
Pros
Every single thing about Google Docs is collaborative, and that is a must-have feature nowadays. All work is automatically saved, the revision history allows me to look back through every single keystroke, and there are so many collaborative features that allow me to work with colleagues in a variety of ways. All documents can easily be shared, copied, and modified in quick fashion. I honestly like everything about this product!
Cons
There isn't much to dislike here. If pressed, I guess that I would say that there could be more template options to work with, but that is a very minor complaint. Everything about this product seems well thought out.

Google Docs
Google Docs is a free document management app with all the features that I could find in paid apps. It works well, I can export as PDFs or other extensions I need.
Pros
The most I like at Google Docs is that it is a web app and does not need to be installed as software. Document management is made with Google Drive, which makes all the documents available from any device. Another great feature is the sharing, it can be easily shared with viewer or edit permissions, and more people can work on the same document.
Cons
In my opinion, there are no cons to using Google Docs.

Very Highly Recommend Apps
This is highly recommended, great experience in sharing data.
Spreadsheet function is very useful on daily operation basis. That will help out the managers and team to track on time data updates.
There is a limitation in offline access but I think it can work out.
Pros
I have been using the Google Docs for many years and it never disappoints me. What I really love the most about the Google Docs is the spreadsheet function. Which is really useful on daily operation.
On my team we are using this as our inventory tracker and daily delivery details trough spreadsheet wherein all of user are log into one spreadsheet file and everyone can see it, while Im updating.
So managers and team can view the updates in real time.
Cons
I think the only downside of Google docs is limitation in offline access, but I think this will not be a problem especially on the people working on office where WIFI is available.

Great for on-line/ documents creation and/ or collaboration
Excellent tool for document sharing and/ or dynamic and secure collaboration.
Pros
The on-the-go collaborative features are easy to utilize. You can make sure the right people (access management) has the right access level (edit, comment, read-only) so they can meet the objectives. Not having to think "what is the right doc I should access?" is just great. There will be only one single document to access, and one single online version for everyone.
Cons
It might be a bit complex to structure the text/ tab/ formats. As a user, it may take a bit longer than with the traditional MS Word.

Google docs is a strong accessible tool but formatting is falling behind other platforms
Google docs is a critical tool for company wide internal collaboration but the formatting is not powerful enough to contend with ClickUp or Notion.
Pros
Google docs is so easy to implement across a company because of the familiarity of the tool and also the company-wide access to google suite. The implementation is so easy and the cost, compared to other tools, is very affordable. The ability to make edits to be suggested is a strong feature and collaboration/commenting is powerful.
Cons
The formatting of Google is really falling behind platforms like Notion or ClickUp. With these modern doc tools you have the / button which pulls up an extensive list of commands making formatting incredibly easy. In addition, you can easily embed videos and other embeds into tools like Notion. I have found it very frustrating after becoming proficient on tools like ClickUp docs and Notion.

Positive and useful. I depend on Google for so much more than just this - email, Google Drive, etc. on a daily basis. The products are good and serve my needs as an independent contractor with 4 jobs, all different and all in education.
Pros
User-friendly and easy to deploy. I can share docs with anyone, anywhere, and edit in real-time.
Cons
Storage is on the light side, unless you have a company account that increases both your bandwidth and storage capabilities. Larger files also take longer to upload so if you're in a hurry, it is best to compress the files in a folder and upload the folder instead of individual large files.

Pros

You can open the Microsoft word document with Google doc, and the layout is very similar like Microsoft word document. Then, you can invite the coworker to edit the document together.

Google Docs the practical resource
My overall experience with Google Docs has been quite positive. I liked almost everything about it. The collaborative features make it easy to work on documents with others, and the ability to access and edit documents from any device is convenient. The wide range of formatting options and easy sharing capabilities are also big pluses.
Pros
I believe the most appealing aspect of Google Docs is its ease of collaboration. The ability to work on documents simultaneously with multiple users and see real-time changes is incredibly convenient and conducive to teamwork. Additionally, seamless integration with other Google services and cloud storage functionality are highly valuable.
Cons
I liked almost everything about Google Docs, but one thing that I found inconvenient was its limited offline functionality. While Google Docs does offer offline access, the functionality is not as robust as working online. It would be helpful to have more features available in the offline mode for times when an internet connection is not available.

Definitely My Personal Favorite Google App
I really love and use Google Docs pretty much everyday, whether I find the need to do quick perusals in the stories I wrote or editing some documents which I can possibly do both online and offline. I really appreciate how I can definitely edit my documents offline and just have the changes applied once I am back online.
Pros
The first time I used this is back when I was a doing a paper with my classmates in my university and I appreciate how we simply don't need to justify our contributions because the history will simply show it. I appreciate it even more when I write my stories because I can even change the color of the paper that is said to help it easier to write even more. It is still my favorite Google App up to date and has never left my phone app list ever since.

Google Docs is the best and the most highly compatible cloud based word processor
Pros
The best thing is that it has high compatibility and supports almost any device, may it be high-end or low-end. Secondly, Google Docs has many collaborative features such as inviting other people to edit the document and also can put restrictions on edit. Many software like Grammarly and Google Drive. Thirdly the docs has some other interesting features like opening through Google Meetand also showing the number of users currently viewing or editing the documents, keeping their identities hidden. It can be shared through multiple ways like mail, link, etc and also has an option of downloading a .doc format for offline saving. Other than that it has got almost every feature a normal word processor should have.
Cons
The Google Docs should launch a dedicated application for windows and mac because as of now it is totally cloud and network-based and people may not have proper network connectivity all the time. Because of network lags people may also lose their work as the changes may not get properly saved due to network lag. Furthermore the fonts styles maybe expanded and the background customization can be increased.

Google Docs is my document creation and sharing tool of choice. This took the form of a first collaborative iteration of a team report using google docs and later the version history tool really helped us see who edited what. It’s free, it’s accessible and it’s great for collaborative work.
Pros
I like how Google Docs is good for real-time collaboration, which makes it easy to work on documents with your teammates or a client. For instance, I used it to co-write a project proposal with a remote colleague, and the comment and suggestion functions made the editing process simple. The auto-save is another life-saver.
Cons
Lacks full offline functionality and is missing some advanced formatting options present in Microsoft Word. Sometimes, large documents that are being worked on by multiple collaborators can get slow or cluttered.

My go to web application
Pros
Google Docs is my go to Web application. I write all of my files and my notes in Google Docs. What I like most about this application is that it is easier for me to access my files or documents even when I am not connected into a Wi-Fi because it allows me to download my files offline.
Cons
I like least about the Google Docs is, I can’t seem to figure out how to customize certain elements. However , I can easily find instructions on how to change the entire page's layout but I am having a hard time when it comes to to smaller details like headers or footers.
