> I occasionally am asked to do a speaking engagement or very short term consulting contract which doesn't make sense to run through my business and I needed a way to invoice easily.  I looked at various options and Invoicer.ai was the easiest to use and while I didn't need the its more advanced abilities, it appears to be very intuitive.

> **Pros**: The app really gets out of the way and lets me create an invoice quickly. It's simple, easy to use and does what it says on the box, which is something I really appreciate in software.

> **Cons**: I'd like to see more theming features like background images and custom fonts in the future.

> I do consulting on the side and I needed a better way to create invoices outside of Google Docs, which is what I was using before I found Invoicer.

After trying out a bunch of other tools, I ended up sticking with Invoicer because it was the easiest to use and didn't complicating my life with too many features.
