Great tool with lots of potential

Overall, I think it is a good product and it is user friendly.

Pros

I enjoy how Theralytics is able to keep most tools I need as a behavior analyst within one app. For example, I am able to manage my schedule, view client progress, develop graphs, and review clients demographics.

Cons

Sometimes the mobile application glitches. I also don’t like the new setting for “mastery criteria”

Very easy to use and learn. Taking data is very easy on the app. Any questions or issues are also promptly responded too.

Cons

Buyer Beware - Under-developed/Glitchy software will cost time, money, delayed payments...

Theralytics customer support was responsive when the issues were minor, as we were patient as they seemed intent on improving their fledgling software. But once we began pushing for fixes that had proven to and were continuing to cost our business significant amounts of money, they became increasingly defensive, refused to offer any assistance let alone express any motivation in fixing the fatal flaws in their programming. In fact, they ejected our staff from a troubleshooting meeting for asking clarification questions and banned us from customer support and the CEO became a non-identity, not responding to attempts at communication.

Pros

For a budding company, their fee schedule was the number one appeal as they fall in the lower tier cost-wise. That would be followed by they're responsiveness and customer service which up-front was pretty good, but then again, it had to be because the glitches and troubleshooting problems are constant. We have felt like beta testers, which was fine when the glitches were just irritating and not necessarily vital flaws, at least we thought...

Cons

The biggest con is the monumental amount of time, effort, money, delayed payments, claim resubmissions, etc., etc. you will end up having to devote to the errors inherent in Theralytics' system. Here's a partial list of the flaws we've had to deal with:
1. More than 6 months worth of miscalculated conversions of time to units, i.e. 5 units billed for a 3 hour session or 10 units billed for a half-hour session;
2. An entire years' worth of claims denied as duplicates because the system is incapable of correctly bundling alike sessions (no warning of this at all from Theralytics);
3. Hidden back-end errors when sessions are edited from what was originally scheduled, i.e. if one day a session that is scheduled as recurring is different, for whatever reason, any changes could cause errors in the produced claim. The only way to be sure is to either forbid any edits to all scheduled sessions or assign someone to crosscheck each session note with the resulting claim.
4. Session notes are routinely deleted - we have staff write notes in a separate document and cut and paste because they were having to re-write notes so often.
5. Sessions notes fail to save;
6. Signatures fail to save;
7. Mobile app is non-functional; we have never been able to use it;
8. No offline accessibility (because that is through the non-functional app);
9. Data collection is impotently limited - not clinically useful whatsoever.

Theralytics is great!

Overall, we've been very happy working with Theralytics! They are very accommodating and supportive and we are so happy with this service.

Pros

Using Theralytics has been really great! As a BCBA consumer for the last 4 years I feel confident that our information is secure, easily accessible for our staff, and understandable. There are so many ways to individualize things in a way that meet my needs for billing, scheduling, and project management. And it also allows for easy sharing with families.

Cons

Many of the small icons are less obvious and intuitive, however, once you learn what they are or how to hover above something for information, it's easy to use.

Easy to use software

Since day one the admin team listened to my feedback and worked to implement better training. This enabled me to better train other staff members. I'm extremely appreciative of the time taken to help me better understand the software which has led to a great experience. I'd say at this point I'm very pleased.

Pros

As an early adopter I was responsible for understanding how to use the admin features such as adding staff, adding my schedule, and completing appointments. I enjoyed these features because I have used several softwares before and it was not as straightforward. The team listened to my feedback and I appreciated this most when working with them.

Cons

At the time they did not have a lot of features, but this seems to have changed a lot. I would like to have more admin features on the mobile app in the future.

LOVE IT!!

I highly recommend it. The best in the market and the most affordable.

Thank you Theralytics!

T would highly recommend Theralytics. Their timeliness and communication is phenomenal with responding to our inquiries and questions. Also the convenient use of Theralytics and their practice management system, combined with their clinical aspects and then the efficiency of their billing system all is one has made running our start up practice possible as a BCBA start up practice and having to play many different roles. The affordability compared to other providers is also unmatched for the type of service they provide. So far, we have no experienced any outage since we started using them almost a year ago.

Pros

The costumer service team has always been exceptional at responding to our requests.

Cons

Data collection for behavior recording and skill acquisition is robust and can be complicated for the RBTs.

The best for BCBA start ups

The team at theralytics have kind, skilled and accessible.

Pros

I have used Theralytics since they first came on the scene. Whenever I need help with the platform or have billing questions I know that I can reach out and I will receive a fast and accurate response. I have tried other platforms but have been the most pleased with Theralytics.

initially notes were not specific enough for some insurance providers but this has been addressed.

Adjustments are easy!

I've been using Theralytics to complete the schedules for the company that I work for the past two months. I have found that adjusting the schedules is extremely user friendly.

I like the ease with which you are able to adjust client schedules.

Amazing Software

I love the ease of Theralytics, the fast customer service, the executive team that jumps in whenever issues need to be handled by them, the ease of billing, and everything else in between. 1 year use

This has helped us grow our ABA program and be able to efficiently bill and get claims back quickly. We do not use Theralytics for data collection but plan to explore this in the future. Overall, scheduling and billing have been simple and straight forward and make things go much smoother on the business end of things.

Pros

Overall easy to use, staff was able to learn quickly on how to input and submit session notes. Their customer service is super responsive and we can usually get help on an issue same day. If they are unable to resolve an issue, they are quick to have the team on it and schedule calls accordingly to get the issue taken care of.

Cons

The start up was a little challenging and could have benefitted from additional training up front on all of the features. The scheduling piece is still a little clunky in terms of overall efficiency, mostly when trying to look at multiple schedules at a time.

Spectacular program and team!

the most important component from my end has been the customer service and the rapport I have the the management team. The fact that I am able to get in touch with someone right away and get all the answers I need in a very prompt manner has made a significant impression on my end. I'm a clinician, who wants to be a clinician. I do not want to have to worry about billing, and scheduling, and the busy work that is not very clinical. The Theralytics team, along with the software have made learning a lot of the back office processes very easy. I am in regular contact with [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], with random and weird questions and scenarios and he has always been able to answer my questions and support me in the process or get me in touch with someone in their team to support me.

Pros

From day 1, from the first interview with them reviewing the platform, EVERY single question has been answered with respect and virtue. As a small practice, the Theralytics team has been able to guide me and support me with a lot of the questions and concerns. Not only does it come with great and prompt customer service, they platform is very easy to use. both for the experienced clinician that has experience with multiple platforms, and the newest member of the team with no experience at all.

Cons

The data collection/reporting component is improving. This is not a complain at all, specifically because they are very receptive to the feedback given and support accordingly.

Impressive

Pros

Theralytics is both visually appealing and very user friendly. Onboarding was simple and not as time consuming as some other top practice management systems. Their customer is second to none, their team is proactive, listens and acts on requests, and are extremely responsive. Theralytics has made growing our practice a breeze. Having them is a top necessity in what makes our practice run day to day. They are very cost effective also, and is also available for billing needs.

Data collection has been missing some components however the team has listened and actively added in needed features.

Pros

It is so user friendly, we previously tried the industry leader and hated it. We felt like after our initial on boarding/training (about an hour) we knew Theralytics better than the software we were trained on for 6 weeks.

Cons

No complaints. The nearest thing to a con is we are a startup but we had to start with 10 client minimum fee even though were were not up to 10 clients. However that was still much more affordable than the other software we were using.......so not truly a con as I was happy to pay it.

Great Software! Great Team!

Changing over to Theralytics has been one of the best business decisions! The support team is responsive, supportive and seem genuinely interested in helping! Top notch support at a reasonable price!

Pros

As a BCBA and owner of an ABA practice, my favorite features are the business analytics and the various types of reports that can be internally generated and exported. The information gathered from these reports, allow me to set various business goals and objectives that I wasn't able to do with other platforms. Another feature that is amazing if your business is in California, is the drive time and milage automation (enough said)!!! I also enjoy how the scheduler has improved over the last few months with additional functionality (drag and drop)! The software for programing and data collection is straight to the point and isn't bloated or confusing. If there are any issues or if something is not understood, the Theralytics support team is very quick to respond!

Cons

The mobile app side occasionally experiences glitches. On demand training videos would be nice to have.

Can't beat the customer service

Pros

Theralytics is a one stop shop. There practice management system is user friendly. The data collection although in infancy stage is effective. The team is also very receptive to feedback to better the software. The billing is also top notch. We all miss submitting claims from time to time before the weekly bill out. However all you have to do is email the billing department and your missed claims are immediately processed.

Their customers service is like no other and their [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is very responsive and supportive. The entire team is very dedicated to helping their clients no matter how big or small you are.

Cons

I truly am not disappointed. I would like to see the data collection develop more features, which have already been shared with the team.

Another happy customer

8 month review of Theralytics

Customer service is amazing and very helpful! Responsive team that actually wants to help resolve your issues. Theralytics is easy to use and does not require a lot of training. :)

Pros

It is user friendly for new BTs to the field, ease of filling out session note with ability to check off what was observed/used along with narrative boxes, ability to see billable hours with ease by month, and ability to upload a program bank for clients and customize as needed. App is great for BTs to use on phones and or ipads.

Cons

Graphs: need to be able to add in baseline data at any point in time, graphs connect data points along phase change lines, ability to make changes on a graph and can select to make that change for 1 program, multiple programs, or only for challenging behaviors. Ability to copy a program to another client. Ability to go through targets when on multiple pages and when making a change to a target on page 5 (e.g., update target status), theralytics will take me back to page 1 each time. Ability to select mass trial or random rotation for BTs. Discard maintenance tab and keep all targets (mastered and in acquisition) together so BTs can have better view of all targets together and conduct maintenance reliably. Scheduling: have a specific color/code for late cancels to use when conducting % of late cancellations and run report monthly.

I have been using Theralytics primarily for its scheduling and reporting functionalities, and I have been very impressed. Theralytics is very user-friendly and easy to learn. The platform has a several great features that have significantly improved our company's efficiency.

The best part of Theralytics is its exceptional support team. Whenever I encountered an issue or had a question, the support team was available to assist. On multiple occasions, they quickly arranged Zoom calls to provide real-time support, ensuring that any problem I faced was promptly resolved.

Adding clients and their authorization information is very easy and seamless. Submitting billing is very quick and easy to make adjustments if needed.

Cons

Searching through a calendar to select a date of service or enter in a DOB is very time consuming. I would much rather free type a date in a space as that would be much faster and easier.

Amazing administrative features (i.e. document storage, payroll reporting, etc...)

They have amazing customer service. I needed to find a good solution for my client and Theralytics gave me all the information that I needed to make an informed decision for my client.

I recently explored Theralytics while I was looking for a solution that offers easy-to-use administrative features, like document storage and payroll reporting. Theralytics perfectly met our needs. And their customer service is great. They gave me all the information we needed to make an informed decision (a huge plus). Highly recommend!

They currently don't have intake forms as a feature. But I've been told by the team that it's in their development roadmap and will be launched soon.

My experience with Theralytics has been so great with communicating my daily tasks to my BCBA

Pros

The simplicity and accuracy of the Theralyricsmakes my daily tasks so much easier.

Cons

I don't like that I can't see what I turn into my BCBA.

Theralytics review

Overall experience is great still learning all the features would like more explanation/videos on how to use certain features

Pros

Relatively fast at solving issues
Recurrence feature in scheduling monthly

Cons

Adding clients/users-Inputting dates of persons year by year instead of inputting numbers manually
System going down or glitching

Theralytics is very worth the money!

Extremely satisfied overall! Will not be changing my program any time soon. Love the billing!

Pros

The 6 month free BCBA package deal. The ease of use (esp. for techs). Scheduling.

Cons

Can't figure out how to make phase change lines permanent and they need a way to calculated trend lines and display them on the graphs. More characters for behaviors to decrease description/comment box.
