#1 Email Marketing & Automation Service Provider

Overall, Mailchimp is straightforward and user-friendly for its price, effectively fulfilling the essential tasks I require.

Pros

I've successfully set up my MailChimp account to cater to nearly a dozen segmented lists. The flexibility of email templates and the option to design my own are crucial. The overall product, except for a few features (potentially limited by my pricing tier), appears highly customizable. I can schedule emails at my convenience, automate their delivery, and monitor the actions of my audience.

Cons

My emails are used to seamlessly synchronize with my social media accounts. However, for the past 9-12 months, this integration has not been working. Due to a decrease in the number of emails sent this year, I haven't had the opportunity to research and address this issue in the Support Center. Nevertheless, I've noticed that the problem coincided with a significant redesign.

Marketing emails and contacts management made easy

Mailchimp helped me in managing my contacts, that can be easily imported, and marketing campaigns.
The GUI is intuitive and you can immediately get useful feedback about your campaigns (e.g. which/how many users opened/clicked/viewed your emails).

Pros

Mailchimp is very simple to set up, you can instantly import your contacts from different sources and create emails using templates and schedule your email campaigns.

Cons

If you are on the free basic plan, you have strict limitations (e.g. in the number of email s you can send per month). Costs can rapidly grow and you must be prepared for that.

Alternatives Considered

MailUp

Reasons for Switching to Mailchimp

It looked simpler to set up and had all the needed features.

Customer Service is AWFUL

AWFUL. They truly do not care about their customers.

Pros

It is easy to write and create emails. It does provide good feedback on campaigns.

Cons

The Customer Service. I had a problem uploading contacts and their customer service, who you are NEVER allowed to speak to, eventually told me, "We can't help you...good luck."

Mailchimp has grown to a Robust platform

For over a decade I have enjoyed working with Mailchimp. It has grown from a simple email platform to a very complex system that now integrates into Google Analytics, digital marketing and more. I find the system to be affordable, reliable and a low learning curve for new users.

Pros

There are several things about Mailchimp that make it a very robust CRM system/platform. From the ease of integrating your current email list, to how easily you can embed one of the sign-up forms on your website, or even manually add contacts, their leads management is very easy to use and works great. Between that and the ease of creating email campaigns, those are the 2 best features of Mailchimp.

Cons

The biggest thing lacking in Mailchimp is a completely AI generated campaign. I believe that AI would be able to draft more effective verbiage on some campaigns than we can manually writing them up.

Constant Contact

Reasons for Switching to Mailchimp

Mailchimp has a much better pricing structure.

OK tool but far from perfect

It is fine but we are switching to a competitor

Pros

You can start easily, it has lots of things packaged however when you actually start going deep - you will discover lots of issues everywhere

Cons

Price can be very expensive, once you start growing - you'll be paying for everything thousands of dollars
