IT departments use ThinApp to combine applications, including those that cannot be packaged with the ThinApp package, into virtual apps that can be centrally managed. ThinApp works with Windows Server 2008 R2 Terminal Services (Terminal Services) and App-V 5.0 deployment services to allow users to run virtualized apps or unpackaged EXEs.
