## Reviews

### "Cisco provides great protection" — 5.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *4 August 2021* | Hospital & Health Care | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: As a user, I'm overall pleased with the service Cisco provides. I work from home and have no issues with malware or viruses. I download a lot of resumes and sometimes viruses can be attached it safely protects my machine and servers.
>
> **Cons**: No real cons. It's managed my our IT department and I haven't had any issues.
>
> Overall, I would recommend Cisco for your antivirus and malware needs.

### "Cisco Amp is costly, but efficacy is high" — 5.0/5

> **Matthew** | *29 April 2021* | Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: I love how Amp fits well into the Cisco security suite. If exploits or vulnerabilities are found, it is very easy to respond quickly across the board when you are using mostly Cisco security tools.
>
> **Cons**: Cost. The cost of the tools is higher than many others, and I think Cisco is still finding themselves in the security space, but they have made huge leaps over the past few years to be competitive and I love that.
>
> AMP has helped us ensure that our endpoints are secure and that we have a much better pervasive idea of where if any vulnerabilities on our network exist.

### "Reliable antivirus and malware protection, but buggy like many AV solutions" — 4.0/5

> **Verified Reviewer** | *30 June 2021* | Hospital & Health Care | Recommendation rating: 5.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Low maintenance once it's set up. Just requires some periodic exclusion updates and version updates, which can be automated.
>
> **Cons**: Like many antivirus solutions, it can cause performance problems and operational problems. It's not supposed to, but it does. For example, I've seen high CPU utilization on various Linux servers because of it, and I've had it cause Linux file systems to be unresponsive because of it having files open in the file system. It does its job of protection, but it is buggy.
>
> Everyone needs antivirus and malware protection, and that's why we use it.

### "Good system" — 4.0/5

> **Penny** | *17 April 2025* | Retail | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: When our store was smaller this was beneficial and easy to use. We were able to conduct business and not worry about a complicated system. We were able to maintain the information we needed to keep our bookkeeping accurate.
>
> **Cons**: Once our store was growing as far as customers and the inventory, we did not move away from Cisco due to any issue, we went with a POS system that was streamlined to our business and captured more information that we were wanting to keep track of.
>
> Satisfied with the system. It was not complicated for me or for the employees that had access. We used it for many years without issue. Overall system is good. No complaints.

### "Cisco most common products review" — 5.0/5

> **Serhii** | *22 June 2021* | Information Technology & Services | Recommendation rating: 9.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is really convenient, a small window box which most of the time runs in the background and not causing you any difficulties. VPN is great, probably one of the best that I ever used in my work experience. Internet connection stays stable, provides some extra security, runs in the background, well-optimized. Customer Experience Feedback is also a great bonus. Our IT department which was setting up Cisco bundle had never spoken bad about this product, I only heard: easy to integrate, maintain, administrate. Price may be higher than other similar products, but it well worth it.
>
> **Cons**: There are not many cons that I mentioned myself. I don't like one thing about the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client: when you are connected to VPN and you want to disable it there is a 'Disconnect' key on the Client itself which works perfectly, but if you will go for example to the Taskbar of your PC and force quit it with the right mouse key it likes to freeze for up to 15 seconds. Sometimes I have to do it again in order to quit it. Also roaming security, in our case Umbrella, likes to ban websites which has nothing to do with the list that our admin set up before. Sometimes it considers unharmful websites as a threat to security, but it happens not often.
>
> I'm really satisfied with the performance of Cisco products as they provide a comfortable working experience. Everything works great as a swiss watch. I've used it for more than 2 years and had the least complaints about it. Definitely recommend.
