Quizizz is very easy for creating and conducting online quizzes. They have a clean and clutter free website. The basic account plan gives pretty good functionalities to create and publish multiple choice or open ended quizzes. The quiz question types are also customizable. The magic part comes when we conduct a quiz. The whole process is gamified to engage students and bring more interaction. Students gets rewards, power-ups etc like in an arcade game.

On the quiz creator side, the real-time progress can be monitored. As the platform is mostly designed to be for academic purpose (apart from workplaces for employee and customer engagement), the admin gets a clear insight into the student data. An analytics is generated based on the student performance.

Additionally, it can be integrated with existing LMS (Learning Management System) of schools and universities. Popular learning management platforms like Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology etc. can also be integrated with Quizizz.

Quizizz questions are highly customizable but a lot of options can sometimes confuse users.

Quizizz can easily feel like a game to students and that in itself is a major benefit. It promotes learning while having good fun. Student participation and engagement has led to more discussions which all in all leads to retention of knowledge. Leaderboard also keeps the students motivated because everyone wants to do well. Great software !

I wish questions can be reviewed in isolation however the game does not pause after each question. This would be a great benefit as this can lead to student discussion to ensure understanding.

This program has been absolutely essential this year. I can create formative assessments within minutes and receive data in seconds to inform my instruction. Features that I love: I can automatically compare whole class scores. I can see at a single glance how individual students are doing. I can review the top missed questions with one click. Students can work at their own pace. They have funny memes the kids enjoy. The power ups encourage students who aren’t the top of the class. It saves my student’s scores, so I can go back and track class participation. I can teleport in other teacher-created questions with a single click. I can assign quizzes for homework (or virtual students) or run them live in class. I don’t have to wait for that one student that has a slow connection to start the quiz because the code stays at the top of the screen once you start it. If someone doesn’t have a device, I can log in as a participant and project what they would see on the board while they write their answers on paper. I can’t really say anything negative about this program. It’s fantastic! (and I’m not paid to say this :)

There isn’t anything negative I can say about the program. I could see ways that you could further develop it in the future (allow more integration features...automatically add grades to Infinite Campus like GradeCam does, or add more slides features) but it functions very well just the way it is currently.

This is by far the easiest program to use, and I have played around with MANY! Quizizz is so user friendly for both teacher and student and doesn't require us to jump through 700 hoops to get to our quiz. I am easily able to link my students on Google Classroom to Quizizz and set up live games or asynchronous practice. HIGHLY recommend Quizizz over all APPS!

There were some copyright infringements posted by other teachers, but Quizizz customer service took them down immediately. So, I wouldn't say this is something I dislike, but rather appreciate that they value the integrity of their site and following laws. Super responsive customer service and always super friendly! You don't see that very often anymore. Thank you!

Quizziz has the easiest navigation interface! This becomes the class favorite in terms of motivation activities as well the assessments. Because of the interaction that it gives to students, they tend to be more engaged and take part in the lessons while having fun.

What I like the least about this software is that we have to pay for premium access in order to create unlimited games. However, it does not bother me that much, because paying for a premium also means wider access to Quizizz Super Library.

I like the ability to engage students with introductory quizzes and then review the material afterwards. Even the quietest students can participate and the gregarious ones get very competitive. With the addition of open-ended questions, I can ask for more specific feedback on difficult topics. Quizzizz games are easy to create especially if you import material from other users and the report feature is helpful if you are assigning them for credit.

Cons

Integration with our LMS would be amazing for graded Quizizz games. The music during live games is dreadful and I would like to be able to always have it off not just turn it off once a game has started. For higher education, some cleaner more grown-up theme choices would be nice.

What I love about Quizizz is it allows me to quickly make assessments for my students in various subject areas. It's awesome that you often do not need to make a quiz from scratch because you can add questions from other public quizzes. I love this feature. Additionally, you can have students take Quizizzes live or they can take them at the own pace which can be assigned in Google Classroom. The questions are not in the same order so it's harder for students to share answers. It's easy to organize your quizzes on the site by creating folders. All of these things are what helps make Quizizz my favorite online assessment tool.

I like creating interactive games for my students and Quizziz is one of the educational websites that I sometimes visit. I like the part where I can view my student´s progress on the leaderboard as well as for the students to also be able to see their performance stats. This challenges them to do better in the next games.

I´m not really a techie person. I ask Google a lot of questions about how to do things or stuff related to some websites or applications. So for someone like me, I wouldn´t find it very user-friendly. It took me a while to figure out how things work on this website.

In fact, I have used it both as a student and as a substitute teacher, so I must say that all the functions of this tool are quite useful and easy to implement, however, what I like the most about the tool is all that it allows for new users try its free version. However, I am sure that in its paid version, which has another point in favor since it is economical, it must be incredible.

Having used it in its free version, I must admit that it greatly limits the number of participants in a room, something that can be solved. On the other hand, a not very good point is that it requires a good internet so that it does not get stuck.

Quizizz has a huge test bank of questions for almost any topic. I have found questions from quantum mechanics to iso linear equations to orthographic sketching to CRISPR.
It used to be searchable internally, but that functionality has disappeared. However, it is all still searchable through Google.
When students take Quizizz as a test, the questions and even the answers are scrambled - makes it hard to cheat!
Quizizz Live is fun for my students, who are very competitive. Whenever I introduce a new topic with a lot of vocabulary, I set up a Quizizz. The kids are using Powerups and there is music, but the coolest feature for them is when they leapfrog over their fellow students on the Leader Board! First place is suddenly second place, but wait! Third place just jumped over them both!
I can use any picture and up to 5 choices for questions. So I can have charts, diagrams, math equations if I just snip and save as jpg. first.
Even after some of my kids have already taken the test (like first period), I can fix typos on the fly (for the subsequent periods) without having to generate a whole new test.
Quizzizz has all my other options beat when it comes to reports. I get exact numbers and percents for each question, individual student's results, as well as summaries and I can download .csv if needed.
You can have a spreadsheet of questions with responses and just import the whole thing into Quizizz - SUCH a time-saver!

Cons

Quizizz does not allow free response or matching, so this limits it's usefulness to tell if they really understand the material.
It would be nice if they had a poll feature like Kahoot so we could argue and debate information (kids really remember things they argued about)
I would love a question type "draw" where students could mark on the screen the correct answer (maps, diagrams, etc)
The ability to link to standards is only in the Paid version.

First of all, we've all had to make the switch to Google Classroom (to stay as consistent as possible during the pandemic), so it's very nice to be able to add your classes directly and then post assignments FROM QUIZIZZ instead of having to copy a link or add a code for them to access their activity. Secondly (from a teacher standpoint), the ability to see scores in the report (and in real-time during class-wide activities) as well as being able to download those reports allows educators to quickly and accurately identify areas of weakness in student learning - AND identifying poorly worded questions! Students are RARELY upset when using this learning tool and they are becoming more and more accustomed to digital work and self-check as teachers learn how to better utilize these kinds of tools.

Mostly that I'd have to pay for the 'Super' version... but at $5 a month, I'm seriously considering it! Don't know when (or if) we'll ever get back to 'normal', but I can see continuing to use QUIZIZZ as an invaluable learning/teaching tool. The only other 'down-side' for me is that I use it so much, I've needed to start being more creative in naming their activities --- just so I can find what I'm looking for in the reports (but that's on me, not the website!)

The communication that you get to have in the Quizziziz community is also very good, and by this I also mean the good customer service you have in case of any problem or inconvenience.

This software is by and far not only my favorite software, but that of my students as well. We start every class with a Quizizz review, and use it for independent practice at home too. Because the review and test format are so similar, there is no surprise on test day as to what the test will "look like". Parents, students and teachers alike like the instant feedback on test day. Plus, I can enail parents their child's test results immediately, so they know how they did.

It would be great if you could add an archive file for old tests. I have tests showing that are more than 2 years old, and there is no easy way to delete them in mass. That is the only thing I can honestly say I dislike about this software.

With Quizizz you can create interactive quizzes through which several people can interact to compete against each other in an evaluation against the clock.
I see several pros with this software, the first is that it manages to be very dynamic when it comes to solving questions and that makes it very fun, in addition to being a good technique to clarify the different ideas that are seen in a school environment.
As a second good thing, is that it has many ways in which "the administrator" can form the evaluation of it: multiple choice, arrangement of columns, open questions, etc.
As a student, I really recommend Quizizz to teachers, because many times it is inevitable to get bored after long days of learning, but this software is a good way to cope with academics while having a good time.

Having quite a few options, Quizizz can be quite confusing with teachers, and in turn with students.
For this reason, I highly recommend that whoever is going to use this software watch the series of visual and explanatory tutorials offered by Quizizz to have the best possible experience when taking quizzes.

1- It has the option to set multiple choice and single answer questions.
2- It allows to set up some exams privately which helps if you are trying to keep confidential information of your organization private.
3- There are several quizzes available for a variety of general subjects.
4- You can manage exams real time or assign them as homework if possible.
5- Exam takers are entertained and it is catchy as it is visually appealing. The meme feature makes it cool too as it fun to watch. I always hear people chuckle at them, and it seems to ease the tension a regular test can have
6- It save records of each time a test is taken, so all is available and at hand in case you need to report individual results. It also generates report with question accuracy, which can help a facilitator define if a question may need reconsideration

My only complaint is that when it gets laggy it tends to freeze to the point it won't sometimes let participants continue in the tests, especially if it is long. I have found ways around the issue, but troubleshooting real time can be problematic and it can cause a little mess at times.

I like the ability to do a live quiz or assign it as homework. This gives me options on how I want to assess students. I also like how it ranks students by their score when I go to the grade book. This makes it super easy to give a grade without having to dig around. I like how classes can be imported from different learning platforms like Canvas. Making the quizzes is really easy, too. I love, love, love the new AI features. Today, I made a quiz that only had 3 questions. I wanted to make it a little more substantial so I asked AI to add some similar questions and it did so perfectly. Great feature!

One issue I’ve had with Quizziz is that it can be confusing to figure out where student scores are located. I make the quiz and then assign it to my classes, however some of the class’s data doesn’t show up under their class, but the main quiz. I also don’t like that schools have to pay extra to integrate with other platforms like Canvas so classes can be imported.
