> **Pros**: I like the fact that Defense in Depth provides an easy to use and flexible interface for a team approach to managing cyber risk within an organization.

> **Cons**: Not really a con, but I think the Defense in Depth framework has yet to realize all of its potential uses.  Given its strength is in visualizing and quantifying risk, there are applications that framework can be used for, but not necessarily developed at this point. Fortunately, the folks at Defense in Depth, are easy to work with.

> In my capacity as a Certified Cyber Insurance Specialist, we want our customers to be strongly positioned for obtaining Cyber Insurance coverages well in advance of applying. The best rates go to those who are proactive in their security posture. So, we work with customers to ensure that there is cyber awareness, policies, and procedures are in place.  We use Defense in Depth to make the often abstract conversation tangible and actionable for all parties. While it is most often used MSSPs, Defense in Depth allows us to provide a complete solution.
