Ok, it's maybe not as polished as others but when you have 10,000 users, the savings quickly outweigh that. We've been using it since version 3.0 and we're still going. We constantly get requests from users asking for (the other software) and giving various reasons (usually given to them by suppliers) but when we show them what PDF-XChange can do, they quickly accept it. > > **Cons**: The only downside to PDF-XChange, and I'll admit this is where it fails against the "other" PDF software we all know about, is that if you want to edit the text in a PDF document, you generally have to convert it to another format first (using the supplied tools). you can then edit the text and resave as a PDF again. To be fair, it does retain all of the formatting and you end up with a professional finish, but this extra step can be a bit taxing.
