Some of the tools like Write/Expand keep tone and plot consistent across paragraphs. It can also be use to expand a rough paragraph. > > **Cons**: Sometimes the suggestion may seems generic and you will have to edit for voice. Its free option is not enough to test the tool. > > Its a fantastic tool for writing fictional stories. It contains exceptional features like the "Brainstorm and Write" tools were especially helpful. ----- ### "Sudowrite works great BUT..." — 5.0/5 > **Lori** | *25 January 2024* | Publishing | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10 > > **Pros**: The AI gives great prose. There are many options to help when writing a book. It doesn't moderate the scenes, so you can write whatever you want. > > **Cons**: It's cost prohibited for me. I burned through the words within a week. Even if I paid the $100+ for the larger word package, I'd burn through that within 2 weeks. I found other AI writing programs to be more afforable. > > While I like the program and the results, it was not cost-effective for me. ----- ### "Good for short story writing" — 3.0/5 > **Max** | *18 December 2023* | Writing & Editing | Recommendation rating: 7.0/10 > > **Pros**: It helps you build your story outline and basic structure. > > **Cons**: It’s not good for long stories with several chapters. The AI algorithm is not smart enough to treat every section of the story in a sequence. It loses track of the characters, storyline and past events. If you are not paying attention and not thoroughly editing, it can be seriously dangerous. > > It’s good for short stories. Sudowrite builds an outline for your story that saves a lot of time and effort especially for those writers who have to write stories in bulk. ----- ### "For fiction authors" — 5.0/5 > **Verified Reviewer** | *30 January 2025* | Entertainment | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10 > > **Pros**: The app it's for fiction author, a very specific niche. > > **Cons**: Nothing in particular, it really delivers\! > > Very good experience with this Ai writing tool. ## Links - [View on SoftwareAdvice](https://www.softwareadvice.com.au/software/517047/Sudowrite) ## This page is available in the following languages | Locale | URL | | en | | | en-AU | | | en-GB | | | en-IE | | | en-NZ | | ----- ## Structured Data
