# AVAG

Canonical: https://www.softwareadvice.com.au/software/546729/AVAG

> AVAG is a cloud-based photogrammetry software designed to process geospatial data into 2D and 3D visualizations, volume calculations, and progress reports. It is used in industries such as construction, surveying, infrastructure development, and mining to monitor project progress, verify work, and create documentation for billing.

The software provides three processing workflows to suit different project needs. Files can be uploaded for fully automated processing without ground control points, processed semi-automatically with expert input for projects requiring ground control points, or imported from other photogrammetry applications such as PIX4D, Agisoft, and DroneDeploy. It includes tools for volume calculations, terrain profiles, cross-sections, and CUT/FILL maps. Supported formats include DXF, TXT, CSV, PDF, and Shapefile. The platform accommodates CAD drawings, WMS services, 3D models, and 360-degree panoramas. It also features DJI Dock integration for automated data capture and processing.

AVAG allows unlimited user access with customizable permissions, enabling teams to analyze project data collaboratively. Data is stored in the European Union under EU data protection regulations, and the interface supports six languages. Administrators can manage access rights to control what team members can view or modify. The software combines layered 2D and 3D views, integrating orthophotos with CAD drawings to compare design specifications with actual site conditions and generate documentation.

## Reviews

### "Accurate and easy-to-use photogrammetry platform with excellent client sharing" — 5.0/5

> **Milan** | *17 June 2026* | Consumer Services | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: What I like most about AVAG is the combination of accurate photogrammetric outputs, ease of use and excellent project sharing with clients. The platform allows us to upload drone data, work with photogrammetry outputs in a clear 2D/3D environment, measure and analyse data, prepare reports and share projects with customers in a very professional way.

For our company, AVAG is not just a processing tool. It helps us turn drone data into understandable, visual and useful results for clients. The interface is clear, the cloud workflow is practical and the ability to share projects and data with customers is one of the biggest advantages. I also highly appreciate the support from the AVAG team, which is fast, helpful and very professional.
>
> **Cons**: There is very little to criticize. Like with any professional photogrammetry and geospatial platform, advanced workflows require some understanding of drone data, coordinate systems, outputs and data preparation.

One feature I would personally welcome in the future is an even more advanced workflow for cleaning 3D meshes and exporting simplified, 3D-printable STL models from photogrammetry projects. However, this is more of an additional wish than a real disadvantage, because AVAG already performs very well for photogrammetry, project visualization, measurements, reporting and client sharing.
>
> Our overall experience with AVAG has been excellent. We use drone data for photogrammetry, 3D modelling, mapping, documentation and client presentations, and AVAG helps us manage this workflow in a very efficient and professional way.

The biggest value for us is that the platform combines accuracy, simplicity and client-ready presentation. The outputs are clear, reliable and easy to understand even for clients who are not technical specialists. This makes communication much easier and helps our customers see the value of drone data immediately.

The cloud-based workflow is also a major benefit. We do not need to send large files back and forth or explain complicated software to clients. Instead, we can share the project in a clear environment where the customer can review the data, understand the situation and make decisions faster.

Another important point is the support from the AVAG team. Their communication is excellent, responsive and solution-oriented. It is clear that they understand both the technical side of photogrammetry and the practical needs of companies working with drone data in real projects.

Overall, I highly recommend AVAG to drone service providers, surveyors, construction companies, infrastructure teams and anyone who needs accurate, shareable and professionally presented drone data.

### "More efficient with AVAG" — 5.0/5

> **Zdeněk** | *17 June 2026* | Construction | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Simplicity, clarity, and, of course, the results that AVAG provides. It makes it easy to measure distances, areas, and volumes of materials, including the export of graphical and numerical reports. What we appreciate most is the ability to project construction lines into the real environment.
>
> **Cons**: I’m not aware of any such issues. The exceptional technical support team at AVAG has always provided me with very quick assistance.
>
> I use AVAG on the construction site every day. It allows me to make decisions easily and monitor the progress of construction. AVAG is also the perfect tool for invoicing and documenting the actual status.

### "Great platform for geospatial data sharing" — 5.0/5

> **Tomislav** | *17 July 2026* | Civil Engineering | Recommendation rating: 10.0/10
>
> **Pros**: Easy to use, fast, and a great way to share orthophotos, point clouds, and other survey data with clients. The browser viewer works really well, and the support team is very responsive.
>
> **Cons**: I'd like to see support for even larger datasets and a few more analysis tools, but the platform is improving all the time.
>
> We've started using AVAG more and more in our daily work, and it has made sharing geospatial data much easier for both us and our clients. Overall, a very positive experience.
