I have used other restocking products over the years and Inventory Optimizer is the only one I have found to sync both FBA and AWD. The features to have both options to Restock from Upload or just see the Restock Recommendations without having to go through the steps of creating a restock order has been extremely helpful because sometimes I just need to look at a single item to collect data for a meeting or to provide additional information to co-workers. The steps to create a restock order are easy to follow and having the restock recommendations so accurate saves me guess work. And if I want to check the work, they provide all the data they are pulling from to provide the recommendation. We also sell cashmere, which is highly seasonal, and Inventory Optimizer accounts for that seasonality\! > > **Cons**: I do like that Inventory Optimizer auto syncs and forecasts everyday, but I do wish I could select the time it auto syncs. I will resync at times if it is necessary. I did reach out to their customer service to address this feedback and they were quick to reply and felt they took my feedback seriously, and explained it being the optimal time to sync is around 1 am because it would bog down the system if it synced when most users are using it, which I understand. > > With wearing many hats at Fishers Finery, I help manage many parts of our Amazon listings, so having access to generate barcodes, check advertising and repricing listings all on the same platform helps organize my workload. The AMZ items Repricing tool is a great feature that has helped and changed the way our company reprices on Amazon. It helps forecast demand and determine what we should order and when. The calculations are better than anything we could reasonably build in Excel, and I don’t have to worry about a spreadsheet breaking. It also made it much easier to delegate purchasing because the data is clearer and more actionable. The QuickBooks Desktop integration was a major factor for us, and they do a great job with that. It gives us purchasing insights that are not native to QuickBooks Desktop. > > **Cons**: Setup was easy, and running the QuickBooks sync is straightforward. The only real downside is that QuickBooks Desktop itself can sometimes be a little finicky, but that is not really an Inventory Optimizer issue. I also wish there were more ways inside the app to evaluate timeliness — for example, whether purchasing decisions, reorder timing, or vendor performance are happening on schedule. I would also like more customer-level insights, but Inventory Optimizer is primarily a purchasing and production planning tool, so that may be outside the intended scope. > > We have used Inventory Optimizer for almost six years, and it has become an important part of how we manage purchasing and inventory planning. We run two accounts: 1 synced to QuickBooks Enterprise and on Amazon Seller Central. The software includes both FBA and MCF (multi-channel fulfillment) demand allowing us to replenish FBA with ALL demand included in the forecasted quantities. Over years of running the Inv Opt forecast alongside Amazon recommendations there is no comparison. Inv Opt identifies trends and seasonality providing ordering and replenishment suggestions that are extremely accurate. For ease of use, inventory management, purchasing and replenishment there is no other solution that comes close. > > **Cons**: The interface could use some updating. Saving preset grids in a little challenging at times. The forecast can take a few minutes is updating a large number of sku's. > > Overall, the value is outstanding. We use Amazon AWD, FBA and MCF. The forecasting and replenishment suggestions include all inventory available. The demand side includes all orders fulfilled - FBA and MCF.
