The workflow follows the site walk itself. Walk the facility with a phone or tablet. The one-line diagram builds automatically as equipment is added, so the schematic takes shape while you are still standing in front of the gear. Pin each panel to a floor plan to record where everything lives. AmpSketch checks captured data against NEC rules during the walk and flags issues such as a conductor undersized against its breaker, while you can still go back and re-check the gear.

When the walk is done, the deliverable is done: export a PDF report with a cover page, the one-line diagram, an equipment schedule, floor plan pages with panel locations, and the NEC flags. No CAD rebuild at the desk.

AmpSketch is not CAD and not a power-system analysis package. It does not run arc-flash, short-circuit, or coordination studies. It is the field-capture and documentation step that produces a clean as-built, including the equipment data a study consultant needs.
