Who it suits. Practices working in Xero or FreeAgent who spend too much of the month keying in bills and receipts, and chasing clients for the ones that never arrive. That covers sole practitioners through to multi-partner firms. Practices tend to arrive at a particular moment: a renewal notice with a price rise on it, an accumulation of small frustrations with the tool they already have, or a first move away from manual entry as the client book grows.

How it works day to day. Clients send documents to your practice's own branded address by email, WhatsApp, or upload. Otto reads each one, pulls out the figures and the line items, and suggests a nominal code based on how that client coded the same supplier before. Your team reviews what he found, changes anything to meet your preferences, and publishes to Xero or FreeAgent. Nothing is published without a person checking it first, which matters when it is your name on the accounts.

Who it does not suit. We would rather say this now than have you find out in month two. If you rely on supplier statement matching, prepayment tracking, or heavy month-end automation, Otto Capture is focused on capture and coding, and another tool will serve you better.

Support and getting started. The trial runs for 60 days. There is no sales sequence waiting for you. Support comes from the people who build the product rather than a first-line queue, and you can reach us from inside the portal.

What you pay. Charges are based on the documents you publish. Each client sits automatically on the cheapest tier for its volume, there are no client minimums, and a client with nothing published in a month costs nothing.
