> **Pros**: Using Loxo was an improvement over the antiquated ATS that we were using before. The modern look and promised features easily lured us away from PCR\!

> **Cons**: We started noticing that all the features that initially intrigued us were not actually built into the app itself. Calls and texts required third party integrations for example. Loxo Source sounded great but seems lacking. The tech support continues to decline and disappoint. We've started our 2nd year with Loxo but I'm already looking for an alternative.

> It started off great. Great sales person. Great onboarding person. But as we began to try to REALLY get into the software, we needed tech support that was just too slow to respond. We also realized that the helpful features that we were excited about were not flexible enough to meet our basic needs. Reporting, sales tracking, etc. just sub-par.

> **Cons**: Where LOXO Misses the Mark for My Team, sharing to help and hope LOXO fixes &#10;&#10;I have been in recruitment a long time and know what works in the real world. LOXO has some strengths, but there are fundamental issues that make it frustrating to use day to day. They need a senior recruiter who has actually used the system for a year or more to audit it properly.&#10;&#10;CRM&#10;&#10;Feels bolted on, not a core part of the platform&#10;&#10;Automated campaigns are limited and clunky&#10;&#10;Makes proper client management and BD harder than it should be&#10;&#10;Resume Formatting&#10;&#10;Word resumes get butchered and lose formatting&#10;&#10;PDFs are fine, but most resumes come in as Word&#10;&#10;Constant rebranding and reformatting required before sending to clients&#10;&#10;Interview notes and candidate summaries also lose formatting&#10;&#10;Output looks like sloppy cut and paste work&#10;&#10;Client Delivery&#10;&#10;Forced branded resume format looks like a LinkedIn profile with a watermark&#10;&#10;Does not look professional and reflects poorly with clients&#10;&#10;Formatting is unreliable&#10;&#10;My team often sends resumes and notes through Outlook instead of LOXO&#10;&#10;Printing and Document Handling&#10;&#10;No direct printing from LOXO&#10;&#10;Every resume must be downloaded to a PC first&#10;&#10;Small issue, but it adds up fast and clutters storage&#10;&#10;Job Posting and Integrations&#10;&#10;Weak results from job board postings, especially free boards&#10;&#10;Integrations feel clunky and half baked&#10;&#10;Integrations are expensive for the value provided&#10;&#10;Implementation&#10;&#10;Implementation lead was smart but not a recruiter&#10;&#10;Lacked understanding of real recruiting workflows&#10;&#10;Came across as smug during integration&#10;&#10;This shows in how the system is designed and rolled out&#10;&#10;Pricing&#10;&#10;Very expensive for what the platform delivers, w/ 5% increases every yr and high integration costs, transferring my old DB was a shit show and rushed to review it, but the errors showed up months after- too late at that point to get them to fix unless u want to pay.&#10;&#10;Automatic five percent price increases every year&#10;&#10;Overall value does not match the cost&#10;&#10;What Works&#10;&#10;ATS functionality is solid&#10;&#10;Sourcing tools are strong&#10;&#10;There is real potential if fundamentals are fixed&#10;&#10;Bottom Line&#10;&#10;The demo sold a better experience than what was delivered&#10;&#10;Core workflow, CRM, formatting, and client delivery need serious work&#10;&#10;With real recruiter input, LOXO would be ideal&#10;&#10;Right now, it is not there yet

> **Pros**: Loxo Source is great tool to easily find candidates. The Loxo extension as well works perfectly and fairly fast. We moved to Loxo from a custom ATS which meant a very complex and tedious migration, however, even though it took longer then anticipated, the Loxo engineering team made it happen.

> **Cons**: One thing that could be done better is the alignment between the sales and the support team. I think the sales team oversell the tool as all-powerful and all-potent, but then after the purchase we say that that is not the case. We were expecting reports to be able to do calculations, but later found out that they are based on logic. Now we need to redo most reports and then do the calculations elsewhere.

> Overall a good experience for our recruitment process. The support team is based in the US, so those in Europe get a delayed answer which sometimes can cause delays in the work.
